The staff was attentive and the dining area was pleasant and well-appointed. Serving coffee early was a nice treat for me because I usually wake up early. My husband and I like to meet other guests, so we would have preferred to sit at a table with others rather than having a table for just the two of us.

- P Kathleen (9/5): A step back in history in this lovely old mansion. - It was pleasant to stay in this lovely, historic property. We were met by two very nice southern ladies who got us checked into our rooms and showed us how to access the main house after hours if we needed coffee, tea or other snacks. The house has an interesting history and the tour of the mansion and grounds after our breakfast was very nice. Our room was quite small and we could have used an extra easy chair to sit in to relax a bit while we were there. The old-fashioned four-poster bed was so tall that a short person like me had to climb into it and that was inconvenient late at night especially. However, we probably would return to stay there if we ever return to the south.

It's right across the hall from the dining room. We were awakened early when the staff started to prepare for breakfast. The room was dark with no nature light. - Anja Gödde (10/5): Wunderbares B+B in sehens- wie liebenswertem historischen Städtchen! - Wunderbares B+B!! Sehr freundliches Personal! Wir hatten eine sehr interessante Führung durch diese wirklich schöne Südstaatenvilla. Es gibt einen sehr großen Garten, viele nette Sitzpgelegenheiten dort und einen großen Pool. Das in einem großen, aber heimeligen Esszimmer servierte Frühstück war hervorragend. Unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und historisch eingerichtet. Wir waren in Zimmer drei im Nebenhaus. Zum wohlfühlen. Das B+B liegt in einem ruhigen netten Wohnviertel. Mit dem Auto sind es nur 5 Minuten bis in die City. Am Mississippi liegen 3 gute Restaurants, ebenfalls 5 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Leuke rondleiding door het historische huis. Ook leuk dat de bewoner en eigenaar even langsloopt bij het ontbijt. Parkeren op terrein. Fijne buurt. Ontbijt was prima maar een beetje standaard - gezien de charme van de locatie zou je bijvoorbeeld vers bereid ei verwachten.

The gardens and pool were excellent and made for a wonderfully relaxing stay. The tour of the house was fascinating, and the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout. - Dena (10/5): - An absolutely Divine Stay! June was Hot but the charming pool was a refreshing quench at the end of the day. Big beach towels in a cute pool bag were provided in the room for us. The complementary tour of the house was gorgeous! The Garden & Veranda areas were well maintained and in full bloom. Our Hosts were most Gracious & the Ladies of their staff are very attentive, accommodating and just precious, wonderful people. The Douglas room on the 1st floor had easy access to everything. The sit down Breakfast every morning was scrumptious. We felt like invited guests and are already planning our next trip! There are big refrigerators that are assessable in near by areas to store beverages or leftovers from magnificent meals so we didn’t have to bring a cooler. Rent a golf cart it’s worth it for touring the area at your own pace. Wear comfortable shoes; lots of steps on many home tours.

All the staff and the owner were friendly and helpful going well above board to make sure we had the best stay. I can highly recommend this gem.

- James (10/5): The Burn B&B is wonderful. - The is a wonderful property, we received a very warm welcome, fabulous food and hospitality throughout our stay. The live-in owner is a wonderful gentleman who greeted us at breakfast and conversed with us about local history. We were also treated to a tour of the property after breakfast. - Camilla (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. The house was furnished in period pieces and by gardens and mature trees that gave a sense of space and privacy. The staff were warm and welcoming and added to the ambiance. The owner was also very hospitable and checked on us from time to time. Altogether, a perfect base for our exploration of Natchez and its friendly residents.

We were given a lovely tour of the home after breakfast. We walked into town through quiet streets lined with historic homes and trees and flowers in bloom.

- simon (10/5): - What an absolute gem! Stopped off at the Burns luxury inn for one night to break up a very long journey. What a beautiful town, full of charm. The tour of the house the following morning was a welcome surprise, undertaken by the lovely staff. We have already told ourselves, we will be returning to give it the time it deserves !
- June (10/5): A fantastic stay in a beautiful house. - An amazing b&b in a unique property. We enjoyed absolute everything especially the delicious breakfasts. The property is in a very quiet location but within easy reach of the town. We would highly recommend and look forward to our return visit on the near future. Nothing

- Vanessa (8/5): Comfortable stay in beautiful historical mansion - Beautiful historical mansion with super friendly staff and good breakfast. Quiet location and easy parking. Very beautiful grounds. Guests actually never really visit the main house as rooms are mostly in the lower floor or side buildings.
- David (10/5): - It is a quaint little place. Not a traditional Antebellum home, but the rooms are decorated for this era. Staff is excellent and very helpful. Breakfast is standard eggs, bacon/sausage, and French toast/pancakes. Served in their white table cloth dining room, and the owner will sometimes play the piano while you eat. The Burn is close to downtown and everything it has to offer.
