Guest Reviews
- Marivic (8/5): - Airconditioning was horrible it was not working good and its so noisy ,sounds like car running..bathroom not really clean, staffs are fine ..but over all it was okay.
- David (10/5): - Friendly and clean.
Pleasant time.
- Janos (8/5): Very good - My dearest friends live nearby, my favorite shops are easily accessible, and the staff is very kind and helpful.
- Joanna (2/5): - Room 610: Cockroches in the room and shower curtain not long. I was charged extra for using the UsEd towel to stop the water from going to the sleep area.
- James (10/5): - awesome!
- James (8/5): - staff was amazing and friendly, room was clean and comfortable, building was older but still nice, the surrounding area was loud and would at times wake me up (dogs barking)
- Cielo (8/5): - Close to the store if you forget something
- Richard (8/5): - I liked the hotel staff, was excellent, room was nice, food was good in hotel restaurant..
Not many places to eat nearby…
- Marlyn (10/5): - Staffs were all excellent with their services.
- Wenifredo (10/5): - Easy access to everywhere, the only thing I don’t like is the noise at rooftops banging during the daytime, anything else is commendable..
- Rodolfo (10/5): Comfort living - It is just a simple hotel, no microwave & refrigerator but the air conditioning is good and comfortable & quite. The location is near all the amenities.
- Juan c (8/5): Great stay - Everything in Andy's hotel was great
The staff great service ,
- Rodolfo (10/5): A night in cebu - Its comfortable and the staff are friendly

- Donald (8/5): - There was no where you could walk to to have fun or eat

Not far from the airport.
- Elsie (8/5): It's a good hotel, just the wifi is the problem. - It was a nice hotel. We stayed for three days with my seven adult family. The staff are helpful. I love the way they clean and arrange our room every day. The only thing I hate is when we Cannot connect to the internet for three days. It was maddening, for sure. They had many Wi-Fi options, but unfortunately, we could not connect. I spoke to the staff many times until finally, she told me maybe because our phones were not comparable with Wi-Fi 🤭 that was funny. All of us had different brands of phones, so how come all of us couldn't connect? Anyhow, at least they tried to help Us. Sad to say, the problem never got resolved until we left.
Staff, please monitor your wifi. Your customers deserve an internet connection.
God Bless and more power❤️
- Charles (10/5): - Little noisy at night
- Christopher (8/5): - The stay here was not unpleasant, my new wife and I found we needed to taxi to nearby malls for restaurants . Not a bad thing for them, just an fyi.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We're very comfortable of our stay in the hotel, the place was clean and the staff were very accomodating ang hospitable.
- Christian (10/5): - Clean rooms. Staff seems like they didn't wanna be there.
- Wilhelmus (2/5): - didn’t like the idea of not having a kettle to make a cup of tea, the bed bugs that had my skin so sore it was bleeding a little or the cockroaches running around the bathroom your advert says mini bar fridge but u only get that if you pay a daily rate for it, so couldn’t even keep our drinks cold. I will never use that hotel again out of a scale of 10 I would not give higher then a 3 that’s how disappointed we were
- Verified traveler (10/5): International credit is sometime not passing thru - Its quite and simple.
- Christopher (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay , the staff amazingly friendly, kind and very helpful, i will highly recommend.
- Nathalyn (6/5): - The shower was terrible. No hot & cold water coming out, either you only get cold water or a very hot water, one or the other. And I have to use the mug to shower myself as the shower head was running to slow. Reported it but it didn't make any difference. So not impressed. But the staffs are lovely though 🙂.
- VinSai (8/5): - Just had fun staying at this hotel!
- Eric (10/5): - Andy Hotel hosted my brother-in-law's wedding and the staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating to our family.
- Bleaze (8/5): - Pros: Free water is thoughtful. Location accessibility is great. Staffs are attentive
Cons: Sink and table have crawling insects or ants? Bathroom needs updating. Non smoking room but cigarette butts are visible from the window. Foul smell in the elevator. Overall, not too bad for the price
- christopher (10/5): - All good. Though working Wifi in rooms would be good. Though i would recommend. Thanks!
- christopher (10/5): Review Andy - All very good apart from Wifi use in room. But i would highly recommend. Keep up the good work!
- Roberto (10/5): - Excelent!!
- Dewayne (8/5): - Staff were friendly and accommodating enough.
- Nick Iven (2/5): - The hotel is not very clean. Staff are not very accommodating and a bit rude. We requested an extra roll bed but what you need to pay a big amount every night. I will not check in this hotel again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Been there several times in the last year, staff is awesome, great place for the price. Easy walking distance to J Mall. hope they get the aircon working in the reception area. i will be back.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I saw a 4 small cockroach on the table..
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I like the breakfast and food but the rest was a dissepointent
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Accessible, friendly staff, safe and quiet, minimize them space good enough for short stay , good value of money
- EDUARDO (8/5): Good Value and Location - Only stayed for 1 night. Room condition was clean and orderly. Check in and check out was prompt. Will stay again next time in February 2020. I want to know if I can schedule Bohol trips thru Andy Hotel
Also off the main street so street noise very minimal.
Thank you !
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room is big and clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Wifi connection not dependable. Overall it is fine.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Liked proximity to J Center Mall. The building is old but it is clean and well maintained. I would stay there again without hesitation.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room is too dark. No shampoo available.. put at least 2 pair of slippers
- Michael (10/5): Great hotel - Was a great hotel and great price, I’ve stayed in many hotels and this is one of the best
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful place.
Ghifg NBC dfjkvd kfsho kn xdbk NBC fkkv

- Brian (10/5): - Lots of space in the room 4 beds a/c cold shower hot staff friendly and clean room everyday at a great price
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Jolly bee and sky water park near by.
- Yugi (10/5): Good for budget traveler and reasonable price - Good price and nice hotel staff.
- Lindy Byrd (8/5): - Nice comfortable stay close to the mall.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room is clean but the bathroom have awful smell coming out from the sink... ,its lack of service. Stuff is friendy but no knowledge on how hospitality industry works.... needs more training...
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I like service ,the people but not really like their bathroom but thats ok..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Comfortable, modern and I think is a hidden gem but barking dogs are annoying while you’re to rest otherwise it is a reasonable place to stay for $$.
- Robert (10/5): Great stay! - Comfortable bed, great wifi in room, hot water, quick/friendly check-in, low-priced menu. Way better than expected for the price! Short walk to Jmall, good area of town. TV Remote didn't work but I don't watch much TV. A little street noise but not too bad.
- shaun (8/5): good place to stay - near to immigration office (inside j centre mall)...secure parking area...nice, helpful,
friendly staff....clean enough quarters....
shower head (pattern, pressure, position)
sux....i recommend Andy for overall value.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - All is okey
Only internet is so slow
cleanliness,
staff is friendly and helpful
- Verified traveler (8/5): - For the price, this hotel is a very nice choice, and within walking distance of J Centre Mall. Labaw pa ning dapita kaysa mga lain sa Cebu nga mahal pa gyud.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The pillow was too hard for me , and the wifi is very slow☹️☹️☹️
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good and clean . People friendly. Bed were good too
- Daphne (6/5): Cheap rooms so don't raise your expectations - Cheap rooms so I didn't expect much.
- Rea (10/5): - Staff and crew are so accommodating, the rooms are always tidy and neat and so comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel, two thumbs up..!!
- Roy (2/5): very disappointed about Andy hotel - the service was good. the place needs improvement. there were small cockroaches coming out from the bathroom. we killed a few! the bathroom sink was leaking water and soaked the toilet paper. the bathroom not clean. there was a soap left in the shower from previous people. how did it pass the hotel inspection before handing the room to customers??? unless, nobody bothered to check the room at all! the towels looked very old and dirty.
- Jeremy (2/5): - Check in was smooth and uneventful. The room was acceptable with the exception of the extra firm mattress. The room amenities are on par for a budget Filippine hotel. The location along a Jeepney route and proximity to shopping is ideal, but if the howling dogs don’t wake you up at 5:30am, the fighting cats will at 6:00. The acoustics in the hallways are very bad. The onsite restaurant, Mang Café, was poorly stocked and I was only able to choose from foods that they had, rather than order from the menu.
The first room (5th floor) we stayed in began to smell of electrical problems on the second night and the power went off at 1am. This could have happened at any hotel, so I won’t hold it specifically against Andy Hotel. Management was accommodating and even though they had no vacant rooms, eventually, after a 3 hour wait in the lobby, moved us to another room.
The second room had 2 beds, both with extra firm mattress. Management offered to move us to a single room when one came available, but we declined repacking/unpacking again. In both rooms, the wood floors were dirty, housekeeping was sporadic, and we had to ask for toilet paper and to have the trash emptied, on several occasions. The second room was on the 7th floor, slightly down the hall from the supply closet/employee breakroom. The employees on break were very loud with their conversations and laughing at all hours of the night.
I contacted Expedia and checked out early due to the discomfort I was experiencing.
- Barry (6/5): - It was clean, the staff were friendly and responsive and the food was OK. But the beds were not comfortable and the air-con was noisy. Had a hard time sleeping.
- Joseph (8/5): Worth the money.. - It was very nice, room was clean, good ac.
- Jennifer (6/5): Jst good - Just good
- Ellen (8/5): Good value. Food service very poor. - Could not get a coke for 5 days. Food served cold.
- Miraflor (10/5): - Great customer service, clean atmosphere and Bill boys are very helpful and friendly,
- Verified traveler (6/5): good hotel to spend as a transient house. - If you just want a budget hotel then andy hotel is ok. it might be a small room but it has aircondition/TV/shower and toilet.
- KC (6/5): Nice Hotel and affordable price. - I will recommend this to families who travel with their kids because the rooms are spacious and nice as well.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Budget friendly and yet comfy with great service - Yes, booked for my brother’s Cebu trip at low rates via Expedia. Their family had great time as per my sister-in-law, they were accommodated with clean, comfy rooms with 2 queen sized beds as they also experienced a five star service from the staff. Will recommend and surely be back in this hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We were only there for a few hours (checked in late at night and checked out early in the morning for a tour), but we enjoyed it while we were there. Room was comfortable, room service and food were great, check-in was fast, and staff was accommodating. Only minor issue was the bathroom; it could be a bit more updated and clean. We can't really say anthing about the location as we never saw it in the daytime. We would stay here again.
- OLGA (8/5): - Overall stay was nice, quiet and comfortable.
It was just a few walk away from my destination.
Will definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Larry - Close to Jcenter Mall, spacious and clean room.
- Rob (10/5): Clean and quiet - A nice place at an affordable price point. Located just off a main road but our room was very quiet. Very clean but very basic hotel. Food portion sizes are not large. I ordered fries and the longest was about 2cm in length. There is a Jollibee very close. Will stay again purely on basis of cleanliness and good staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): excelent - Very nice service
- Nick (10/5): Excelent hotel for price - Outstanding service!
- Nikki (6/5): Reasonable pricing for quality stay - My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay at Andy Hotel. It was clean, comfortable, fairly priced and perfect location. Our stay was short but enjoyable.
- Narlyn Jane (8/5): - Hotel is ok. Spacious family room
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value. - Basic amenities, reasonable price. Close enough to the ferry terminal.
- AJ (10/5): Really Good - Not bad for the price! There was 6 of us and I booked the room with three queen size beds and the room had a connecting separate room as well. Enjoyed our stay here, the staff was nice too, we arrived a bit early as well and the staff gladly let us check in early as well. The cleanliness of the hotel was great as well.
Only thing that can be improved upon is the shower but other than that, I liked this hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): 2 night stay, 2 nights too many. - I'd say "you get what you pay for", but I've payed the same and gotten way more. The room was filled with ants, including the beds (which are very uncomfortable). The air con didn't work, the bathroom wasn't very clean. The wifi only works in the restaurant area, and even there it doesn't work well. The food isn't very good, and there is no generator to help during the frequent power outages this area has. The owner and his wife were helpful in setting up a tour at a good price, plus a shuttle to El Nido.
- Cathy (10/5): Nice hotel near stores - nice hotel near stores, the staff was very approchable
- lailani (10/5): A fantastic stay - It was a fantastic one, accessible to transpo and jolibee people were hospitable
- Clyde (4/5): poor - Noisy, would not control guests making loud noises in hallway late at night and early in morning. No hot water. Will never stay there again since the staff does not care about the guest
- Andrew (6/5): Noisy! - Average hotel, good for the price. Very noisy from other rooms and the hall. Room is clean and area is decent. Service is excellent! But I would not stay there again.
- Bam (8/5): No regrets! - The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel's location is accessible- public transit, pharmacy and Jollibee! I would surely love to go back here for my holiday in Cebu.
- ande (6/5): Good location - I like the room..except the towels,it's very old and the wifi is very slow.
- kevin (8/5): Fare price for where you are and what you get - I've stayed a few times here I find it central to the places I visit when in Cebu
- Timothy (10/5): Great Stay - The stay was great. Great staff was great and helpful. I will stay at the Andy Hotel on my next trip to Cebu.
- Joel (8/5): - good stafff
- Verified traveler (8/5): OK hotel, great area - Andy Hotel is neither amazing nor disastrous. It's an OK hotel with good service, ok security, ok cleanliness in rooms, not good food, and a great surrounding area. It's a bit of a wait to catch a taxi outside and of course lots of fun Mandaue traffic but it's close to so much and within walking distance to restaurants and J Centre Mall (you can see the new Toyoka Hotel tower above it from some rooms in hotel). Overall we would stay here again if we need to be in this area but if not would not hesitate to look for more enjoyable accommodations. We don't like to eat in the hotel but sometimes a busy schedule necessitates it. Please improve your food menu for both locals and foreigners alike.
- ERIC (8/5): Good this time, but need work on a couple things - Have stayed here close to a dozen times and keep coming back. Great service and the staff is generally very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are good for price but would be better if they didn't charge extra per day for a fridge at that price. There was a couple of major downsides this stay however that may make me think twice about next time. Number 1 was that the WiFi is barely working. It's only spotty at best and that's being generous. Also, I did see one many-legged pet in the bathroom so I hope they are keeping up on their spraying or other pest control. All of that said, I do believe I will stay there again due to the excellent location near a lot and also because of the great service. Next time I will at the very least call ahead to make sure the WiFi is working..
- Verified traveler (6/5): Staff very nice, comfortable bed - Had a problem with water heater but staff resolved issue immediately. Comfortable room. Main problem was: very temperemental WIFI. They give you a password and such but during our 2 days stay, only worked maybe less then 30% of the time. Even went to the lobby, still no connectivity. This kind of problem can be expected in cheap pension hotels but we did not expect this from this hotel as the nightly rate is moderately priced. Thanks
- Verified traveler (6/5): Friendly staffs & great location - The staffs are friends, very accomodating, great location, everything was okay but except the noises from the hallways. I can hear them all the time in my room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent, except.... - The room was very well appointed, clean, comfortable. The Cable TV only had MINIMAL channels, meaning terrible. We were there New Year's Eve. Ordered room service dinner. Absolutely awful. Everything on my plate was like a burned sponge soaked in grease, absolutely inedible. They need to hire a chef. With those exceptions, it was a great stay. Again, the room and staff were great.
- Verified traveler (6/5): worth the price - Room was okay for the price, clean and comfortable. Television is so small (~19-24 inch) and no remote, I had to use my mobile phone as remote control. They offered extra pillow and blanket in found the cabinet but a bit dusty so we had to avoid using it.
Staff were very accommodating and friendly all thought out the facility. Kudos!
- MICHAEL (10/5): GREAT VALUE, XLNT STAFF AND OUTSTANDING MANAGE R - The hotel staff was amazing, the general manager Ms Barbie showed individual concern for each guest. This was a gem to find, and a pleasure to stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay........ wonderful staff...... people with smile serving client........
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable and Clean Hotel - The hotel was a good fit for me. I originally had two single beds but was given a queen bed for the remaining days of my stay. Rooms are clean and nice layout. Plenty of room in the bathroom area to take care of basic needs. Shower was warm water and easy to get in and out of. Hotel staff was very friendly and I had breakfast there every morning. The area around the hotel was a bit crowded and some might consider it rough. Not for your average tourist. A compact mall was about ten minutes walk down the street. Televisions were not the best but I spend a lot of time on the computer. They had internet which was average, it is the Philippines after all.
- Debbie (8/5): Satisfied - Nice staff, near public transpo, comfortable place, fast internet
