- Ken (10/5): Great staff - Ms. Apple and her staff were extremely helpful with room requirements and transportation.
- Mary Anne (10/5): - A nice, quiet stay. I will stay there again when I return to Vientiane.
- Jaques (10/5): Would recommend great stay - Great location and staff was great Everything and everyone was great
- Rob (8/5): We stayed a week and would return - The room was a good size, breakfast was good staff were very nice The surrounding area is not the best
- Arvydas (9/5): The place I keep coming back - Great location. Free airport pick-up and drop-off service. Great massage on the ground floor of the hotel. Breakfast on the rooftop, with a choice of menus (several options). Surprisingly, you can only choose one - coffee, tea or juice. Perhaps more cleanliness in the rooms. The shower and some of the furniture could be replaced. 3% plus card payment, common in Laos but a bit unusual.
- Greg (9/5): Superb -
- Greg (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Excellent place to stay! - Really spacious one bedroom apartment, well furnished and very clean. The breakfast was good with a choice of Western and Asian food. The cafe also offers evening meals but best was a sundowner watching the sunset over the city and Mekong.
Location was good easy walk to many restaurants, we particularly liked the Italian restaurant diagonally opposite. The Office Bar down the road was also good.
Highly recommended accommodation in Vientiane. Nothing - all good!
- Dante (8/5): Very good - Nice hotel, great roof top restaurant.
- Giulia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Larry (5/5): Very neat and tidy hotel but really shipped on the small stuff - Clean and big Breakfast was not that good had only 6 items off a menu to choose from and only one very small cup of coffee if you wanted more it will cost you more

- Waldmax (9/5): Recommend - A wonderful hotel, I liked everything. Thank you for the airport transfer.
- Nicholas (10/5): Excellent place - Good location, nice rooms with a good rooftop bar/restaurant. There is also a free pickup/drop off shuttle to/from the airport if booked in advance. Nothing
- David (8/5): Very good - Great size rooms and very clean. Excellent staff too. If I was being picky, the location could be better - it’s a decent hotel though, if you are ok with the price bracket.

- Jeremy (9/5): This was great value and lovely place to stay. I will stay here again when in Vientiane! - Breakfast was fantastic and one of the best parts of staying. Nothing is better than a tasty breakfast, coffee, and the view of the river on the rooftop dining. The place was clean and comfortable, with a great location. We really enjoyed our week long stay here. The place was great but one slight thing is the furniture in the sitting area could be slightly more comfortable. A bit more kitchen supplies like a bottle opener, plates, bowls would have been helpful.
- Joseph (8/5): Very good - Wonderful staff, prepared a to go breakfast for our early flight, fresh squeezed OJ but croissants were badly burned...hmm. Spacious older style room with lots of wood and comfy bed.. AC a bit noiisy. The tiniest bar of soap I've ever seen....doll sized. Water heater needed to be fixed but they quickly did it. Hotel set back away from a not too busy street in nice tourist area. At $77 was kinda expensive.
- Thomas (9/5): Worthwhile to stay. Clean and well located and they feed you - Breakfast excellent with many choices Good location with free airport pickup. The staff were very helpful to get taxis. the rooftop scenery for breakfast is amazing All good
- Hiroko (10/5): Comfortable stay - Spacious and clean. The location was also good and close to nice cafes and restaurants. Staff was friendly and have good command of English. Nothing.

- Gyorgy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ekaterina (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, spacious rooms and good breakfast on roof. The staff also helped us greatly by delivering our luggage directly to airport when our flight from Pakse was late and we did not have time to go to hotel to pick up luggage before next flight.

- Tanya (9/5): Superb -

- Guy (10/5): A place to keep coming back to - Beautiful elegant hotel, huge rooms that are very well maintained. Located within a short walking distance to Vientiane’s business district, restaurants, bars and clubs. Helpful team members, all speaking excellent English. The rooftop restaurant with a 360° view of town and the river serving yummy breakfasts and a chill place for evening cocktail. A bit pricy for my budget, but well worth the price for what’s offered.
- Melanson (10/5): Exceptional - Big spacious room suite. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good! N/A
- Yelton (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly, free breakfast, very helpful doorman

- Mumta (8/5): Spacious, comfortable apartment - Clean, comfortable spacious apartment with air conditioning. Desk area for if you need to work. Great shower. Laundry service available.
Walking distance to the night market, cafes and restaurants. You can book tourist activities, train tickets and taxis at nearby hostels.
Helpful reception staff. I misplaced my key card and they provided a new one and reset the code, at no extra charge.
The breakfast area on the roof is lovely. We found the shakshuka eggs very salty - ask for less salt if you are health conscious. The kitchen is not well equipped. There is a kettle and stove, but very limited crockery and utensils, and no cooking pots.
- Ian (8/5): Good hotel, location ok, good sized room but dated, lovely staff especially on rooftop bar area. - Good hotel, great rooftop bar, large room but a bit dated. Location not bad.Approx 4/6 choices for a breakfast. Which was included in room price. Very enjoyable stay. Bar maybe open later , as it closed at 8 pm.No chance then for food or drink.
- Pratik (9/5): Superb -
- Arvydas (9/5): Superb -
- Arvydas (8/5): Very good - Location, room size. Services. there was no soap in the bathroom.
- Rui (9/5): Superb - very convenient location and serves great breakfast. The rooftop bar is great! nothing really
- william (10/5): - Nice laid-back hotel. We had a 1-Bedroom apt.
- Weronika (8/5): Very good -
- Jong (8/5): Awesome hotel! - The room was really big and cozy. The staff were nice. Quite close to tourist destinations. The breakfast was also very nice. I don't think it was particularly the hotel's fault but there were multiple blackouts during my two day-long stay.
- Nina (10/5): Spacious room, lovely rooftop terrace and convenient location -
- Fourt (8/5): Very good -
- Y (8/5): Excellent - Staff are very friendly n helpful Nothing
- Marcel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vio (9/5): Superb -
- Claude (9/5): very nice place. highly recommended. -
- Claudio (7/5): Good - Room big and clean. Massage center. Internet reliable. Location 10 min from the night market. Airport shuttle They tried to charge additional 3% on booking.com price as bank fee. The sleepers are re-used, so be aware of this while wearing it. The staff doesn't speak English very well. The food in the restaurant is not that good, and yet expensive for the lao standard
- Tao (8/5): Comfortable but expensive hotel - 1. A few front desk staffs I met were highly customer-focused. They were very professional and helpful.
2. My room was clean and spacious. The housekeeping ladies did a good job to kept my room neat.
3. Free airport shuttle - two staffs were sent to pick me up at the airport. They could had sent just one person.
4. Nice free breakfast every morning depending how many nights you booked. The coffee was good.
5. The hotel had a small gym in the basement level. I basically had it all to myself during my stay. 1. Overall, with the relatively high price I had to pay, I would definitely expect more value and better experience.
2. There was a construction site in front of the hotel. They could be noisy at certain time of the day.
3. Tried their rooftop bar once and was disappointed with the high price ($10 USD or so for a small cocktail). I didn’t like they’d add some service charge after the menu price.
4. One time, the front desk called me telling me my driver was arrived, though I didn’t book any drivers at that time. I’d expect my hotel had confirmed with the “driver” before calling me.
- Alec (9/5): Superb -
- Deepika (8/5): Very good - Very good location. Extremely clean. Wonderful pizza place opposite to the hotel. Didn't imagine we'd enjoy pizza in Laos. Breakfast was excellent on a lovely terrace. Staff was nice but not overly friendly or welcoming. Maybe it's a language problem. The room is huge but not well appointed. No milk for making tea/ coffee. They got us a glass full when we asked for it and overcharged. No dishes/ utensils/ supplies in the kitchen. We were there only for a day so it was okay. No handwash soap in toilet. Even when we asked for it. A bit strange.
- Julien (8/5): Nice but pricey accommodation - Pretty spacious room/appartment with working desk and comfortable chair, nice bathroom with a large shower. Nice gym, breakfast a la carte with a view, decent tv. Free shuttle to the airport. Some of the staff had very good level of english. There is a nice kitchen but it is completely empty, not even a plate or any cutlery (the reception did provide me a plate once i asked for it). The view was ugly but the area in general is not very pretty. The gym needs a proper cleaning, it was full of spider webs and everything dirty. It's pretty expensive, specially for Laos. The bed was too hard for my taste.
- Alex (8/5): Very Pleasant Stay In The Capital Vientiane - The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us an upgrade to a kitchenette suite (even though there were no utensils for cooking). The facilities were clean and functional. The location was in walking distance to most sites to see in the capital. Breakfast was very good. Overall a very pleasant stay!
- John (10/5): Great hotel. - Stay there when I visit Vientiane, great rooms, nice quiet location and great staff Nothing to complain about.
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms are very large and comfortable and are cleaned every day. Great location. They offer free airport drop off if you give them notice.
- Tammy (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay, very close to most of the major attractions, onsite spa, breakfast at Lao Nana Restaurant. The breakfast service and sunset cocktails excellent. The restaurant proprietor Kevin was informative on living in Laos and attractions to visit. Hotel and restaurant staff very professional, quickly addressed anything we needed. Recommend.
- Ulf (9/5): Superb - Great breakfast in the rooftop restaurant, Clean rooms, and helpful staff.
- Melvyn (9/5): Superb - Attentive staff, comfortable and clean room, good breakfast. The rooftop restaurant / bar was a nice bonus as it provides a panoramic view of the city and river. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the night markets and coffee shops and restaurants sre close by. Nothing.
- Rosa (10/5): Great staff - The staff at the breakfast bar were very accomodating. One of us was sick and they proposed something special to eat. Nothing. It was a great stay.
- Rosalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenneth (9/5): Superb - The breakfast was very good! the hotel was very good
- Ewen (9/5): Thank you to the staff at Capitol Residence - We stayed here for two weeks and settled into an easy and relaxed way of living. Breakfast upstairs was a nice ritual and the views are spectacular. Fantastic to relax there too with a glass of wine later on. I had some health problems that needed a short hospital stay during our holiday and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and supportive. Thank you. A few more vegetarian options at breakfast. The bathroom needs more lighting and towel rails.
- John (1/5): Bad -
- Pavel (10/5): Close to river Mekong, close to all the night markets in the vicinity of this residence. - Gigantic apartment. Very spacey, with powerful A/C units. Fridge, microwave, stove, great shower stall. Hard to say, breakfast selection can be hit or miss, depending on what is ordered from àla carte.
- Caroline (8/5): Very good - Good location
Large attractive comfortable rooms
Nice and helpful staff Awful breakfast arrangements on a cold windy roof (nice view) with a surly Italian in charge and tiresome “set meals”. Impossible to get a croissant that hadn’t been dropped in unwanted fried eggs and tinned mushrooms, and strictly one only cup of weak tepid coffee. This in the country with some of the best coffee in the world! Scrap your free breakfast vouchers and have a delicious inexpensive breakfast at the charming Naked Coffee Botanical shop opposite.
Hot water and internet come and go.
- Chris (3/5): Poor - Breakfast restaurant has a spectacular view, excellent WiFi, comfy bed and great location. 1,024,000 Kip for a studio with kitchenette that has no crockery, pots, pans, utensils or anything. Completely pointless other than the kettle. Minibar with nothing in it. Walk in wardrobe with no coat hangers. Room listing also said it came with dishwasher and microwave, which it didn’t have. We complained and were moved to a different room but still missing many of the room facilities listed in the booking. Lots of breakfast options, included in room rate, but the only vegetarian options are a croissant or granola. Staff do not knock before coming into your room and they come in even if the Do Not Disturb sign is on the door. Not worth the money. We extended our stay in Vientiane but moved to another studio apartment on the same street.
- Stuart (8/5): Very good -
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional - Hotel was very clean and the staff were lovely. Lots of restaurants nearby to eat.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rodney (9/5): Great value for money. - Excellent service, we liked the location, the rooms are big and the sleeping is easy plus they gave us a free airport shuttle both ways. they should put sound proofing foam strips where the bedroom doors close as a lot of guests are too ignorant to close the door gently and they do bang loudly.
- Lior (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (9/5): Superb - on the breakfast menu there should be items for the European, American, Australian customers like toasts, butter, jam, marmelade and honey and a fruit juice should always be included.
- Vien (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Second time I have stayed here, fa tastic rooms, very friendly staff and very clean accommodation. No complaints.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- George (8/5): Very good -
- Boun (8/5): Very good - staff very friendly room nice and clean but breakfast very poor
- Doug (9/5): Clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. - Free pick-up from the airport. The room was very clean. The bed was 5 star comfortable. The shower worked great, hot water, steady pressure. The highlight was breakfast in the open air rooftop restaurant. No buffet, you ordered a meal from the menu and the coffee was brewed to order as well. Awesome! Nothing stands out to complain about.
- Zhao (8/5): Very good - Spacious Room. Space to store luggage. Limited Breakfast Options.
- Tomaso (8/5): Very good -
- Pradeep (5/5): Fairly nice hotel. - Location was within 5 min walk to centre. The roof top breakfast by new owners is excellent. Sunrise and sunset is worth view. Air conditioning too loud.
