• Manon (6/5): Surcôté ! - Le cadre est beau, le personnel adorable et le petit déjeuner très bien. On paie clairement le cadre. La qualité des chambres n’est pas au rendez vous. Aucune isolation, il fait humide et chaud dans la chambre et la salle de bain n’en parlons pas. La porte d’entrée ne se ferme pas complément ce qui laisse passer un tas d’insecte. Les fourmis vous marchent dessus toute la nuit. La literie est mauvaise et les oreillers sont durs. Pour un hôtel à ce prix là, on en attend mieux.

• Magdalena (8/5): It’s a nice resort, really calm and relaxing. The beach is not nice at all. - The Villas were nice and really clean. Breakfast could have more variety. It was okay but nothing special.

• Reiner (9/5): Very relaxing and isolated - The room was very comfortable and large, as expected for a villa. The breakfast had all the food and was pleasant to have on the terrace. The white lights outside the villas on each corner of the roof. The holofot at the front was also too strong. We couldn't see the stars, and the room was very bright, even with everything. The absence of any instructions on how to use the safe and WiFi.

• Irena (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing resort. - The sea view from the pool is 10/10. Stuff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very clean, calm, and beautiful resort. Good breakfast, free kayaks. Quiet luxury at it’s best. In some of beachfront rooms the outside hot tub wasn’t working, so we didn’t upgrade to that one.

• Oliver (7/5): Wer viel Ruhe sucht, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Insel lässt sich von hier aus gut erkunden. - Extrem nettes und hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption und auch sonst. Keine Musik. Viel Ruhe. Und ein gutes Frühstück. Zu wenig Schattenplätze und insgesamt eine etwas unpersönliche Einrichtung. Viel zu wenig Liege-Möglichkeiten am Pool, der auch etwas zu klein ist. Der Strand ist nur begrenzt gut zum Baden geeignet.

• Robert (3/5): Ok but not recommended - Restaurant food was quite good. Villas were ok, clean and good layout Villas, no TV but that's not a too bad a thing I guess. No fans, just ac; not the best for sleeping. Bed queen size only; if you're used to a king size it's not really good enough for what you're paying. Breakfast a bit average and again, no fans in the dining area; needed as it got stifling in there. Internet was useless; had to use our own sim even after complaining several times. Beach was 1 out of 5; all rocks hardly any sand; enough reason to avoid this resort. Pool was nice but! Not well maintained; water was murky and it was not cleaned once during our 6 night stay. Needs a step to enter and exit; we're not all young kids anymore that can jump up a 1 meter step. Location was very isolated; without a motor bike you're stranded. There are different, better and cheaper options than this resort

• Olaf (7/5): Relaxte plek voor een paar dagen. - Het ontbijt was prima en het bed was groot en comfortabel. De buitendouche was heerlijk. En het zwembad was ruim en met een mooi uitzicht. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. De locatie is erg afgelegen en de zee is niet geschikt om te zwemmen. Verder zijn er te weinig ligbedden bij het zwembad als het hotel volgeboekt is.

• Philipp (10/5): Empfehlenswert. Komme wieder - Sehr ruhiges Resort, sehr entspannt, sehr leise. Lage ebenfalls nahe an Pier aber dennoch abgelegen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, kleine Auswahl, aber qualitativ top, auch ansehnlich. Man kann den Reinigungsservice nicht abwählen, es gibt keine Option an der Tür "do not disturb".

• Francesco (9/5): Relax vista mare in mezzo alla natura - La struttura è molto zen, appena fuori dalla zona più centrale diciamo. Perfetta per chi cerca la pace nella natura, non ha una grande spiaggia davanti ma a noi è piaciuto molto prendere lo scooter per girare l isola, la colazione è buona, non troppo abbondante ma comunque buoni prodotti. In generale la camera e la struttura in generale è molto bella e pulita, lo staff è il punto forte, gentilissimi davvero.

• DEVROEDE (6/5): - Endroit très calme et reposant. Le personnel apportait une boisson fraîche au bord de la piscine une fois par jour. Endroit très excentré. Obligé de louer un scooter. Le restaurant ouvre de 12h à 15h et 17h à 19h....assez coûteux en plus! Faudrait refaire la photo de la piscine car il n'y a pas de parasol !! Juste 4 pergolas semi ombragées jusqu'à 15h puis plein soleil pour 10 transats !!! Piscine très peu filtrée donc assez sale.... Plage impraticable. Faut demander pour changer les draps au bout de 4 nuits....
• piotr (8/5): - Cisza, spokój, idealne warunki do odpoczynku. Wspaniała kuchnia w hotelowej restauracji. Brak telewizorów w pokojach, nareszcie! W domkach brakuje bocznych świateł. Jest tylko górne. Nie ma stolików nocnych. Hotel ukrywa fakt, że ocean w tym miejscu słabo nadaje się do kąpieli z powodu ogromnych odpływów i skalistego dna. Właścicielka czy też szefowa hotelu z kamienną twarzą ignorująca gości. Ani razu nie przywitała się, nie uśmiechnęła. Serio? Przecież jesteśmy w Tajlandii, gdzie serdeczność ludzi jest tak wielka!

• Roland (10/5): - Das Resort liegt etwas abgelegen und ist daher perfekt für Gäste die etwas Ruhe schätzen. Sehr freundlicher Service. Schöne Poolanlage. Der Strand ist für Familien eher weniger geeignet, aber er ist sauber und baden ist möglich. Morgens wartet ein spektakulärer Sonnenaufgang. Man benötigt einen Roller oder ein Taxi, fußläufig ist praktisch nichts erreichbar aber das ist hier bei vielen Anlagen so. In der Nähe gibt es noch keine Partys, keine Events, nur himmlische Ruhe. Überall WLAN - aber die Verbindung über den Hotelrouter ist eine Herausforderung. Man kann dies aber mit einer VPN auf den mobilen Geräten schnell verbessern. Auf den Zimmern gibt es kein TV - das ist aber nicht unbedingt tragisch, wenn man z.B. ein Tablet mit hat. Würden wir nochmal dort buchen ? JA !

• Maaike (9/5): - Meest relaxte plek ooit. Zo ontspannen, zo rustig. Alleen maar geluiden van vogels, de zee en de wind. Zwembad was heerlijk, bungalow was mooi met fantastische buitendouche. We verbleven er 3 nachten maar hadden er makkelijk langer kunnen blijven. We huurden voor 1 dag een scooter direct bij het resort, ging heel gemakkelijk. Eigenlijk helemaal niks. Raad dit iedereen aan.

Jardim muito bem tratado Sugeria só trocar as cortinas do quarto por blackouts.

• Andreas (9/5): Schoenes, Ruhiges Idyll - Gepflegte Anlage, Gute Bungalowgroesse, sehr ruhig, gutes abwechslungsreiches Fruehstueck, Eierspeisen a la carte, nah am Strand (Je nach Tide aus zum Baden geeignet), scooter und golfcarrental, nettes Personal, Kajaks kostenlos Nutzbar (koennten erneuert werden), jeden Tag Zimmerservice, Massage war gut. Tipp für Aktive: man kann sich auf der Insel Fahrräder ausleihen. Mit denen man sehr schnell alles auskundschaften kann. (Eigenes Licht mitbringen) Bar Und Getränkeservice semiprofessional, Dusche sehr Rutschig, sehr Hell (nicht abdunkelbar) man wacht morgens sehr frueh auf 5/6. Augenmaske mitbringen. Wasserglaeser kamen irgendwann nicht meh (haette man aber sicherlich anfragen können.gab nur shampoo. In der Preisklasse erwarte ich aber auch Duschgel.

• Raphael (8/5): Schön aber in die Jahre gekommen - Die Lage direkt am Strand ist sehr schön und auch der Pool ist schön. Das Resort hat seine besten Tage gesehen und ist bereits abgelebt, deshalb ist das PLV etwas unterdurchschnittlich. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, was aber auch gut sein kann für jene die dass suchen.
• Eva (8/5): Viel Potential aber Preis - Leistung stimmt nicht so ganz - Die Unterkunft liegt herrlich am Meer, ein großer Pool lädt zum schwimmen ein. Die Häuser stehen weit genug auseinander dass man den anderen nicht mitbekommt und die Anlage bietet Ruhe. Das Frühstück ist auch ganz ok, es ist für jeden was dabei. Mit einem Roller lässt sich die Insel von dort aus wunderbar erkunden. Insgesamt ist einiges zu erneuern, angefangen bei den Stegen die zu den Häusern führen, alles biegt sich nach oben. Die Lichter an den Häusern außen sind Solar betrieben, die Vorhänge sehr dünn, es ist sehr hell in den Zimmern in der Nacht. Der Pool sieht schön aus wird aber so gut wie nicht geputzt, es sammelt sich eine Art Schlick am Boden an. Es gibt für 21 Villen nur 11 Liegen am Pool. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht, kann aber durch die Sprachbarriere nicht mit den Gästen kommunizieren. Wer ein Anliegen hat als Gast steht alleine da. Insgesamt stimmt hier das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht.

• Leonid (10/5): Very good place for a retreat, but only with partial sea view - Very clean rooms, nice pool, and quiet place, separated from other facilities. The bungalow we received had a partial sea view, not a complete one.
• Corinne (7/5): - Die Lage war für uns gut, sehr ruhig, nettes Personal die es echt versuchen alles schön zu halten. Sie sind sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich! Das Zimmer war großzügig und das Bad war an und für sich auch schön. Wir mochten auch den Meerabschnitt vor dem Hotel, weil man bei Ebbe echt weit rausspazieren kann und viele Tiere entdecken kann Die Vorhänge sind sehr hell, sodass man schon um 7 von der Sonne geweckt wird, der Seaview war bei uns nicht wirklich vorhanden.

Nur auf der Höhe des Restaurantes ist ein Strandabschnitte auf die Länge von etwa 30 Meter, wo man ins Wasser gehen kann,

Min man hade glömt sina airpods på rummet efter utcheckning, personal kom efter med dem till piren där vi väntade på färjan till koh chang :) Bra,fräsch frukost. Rent och fräscht överallt. Fin och skön pool. Ligger avsides så mycket lugnt även för att vara koh Mak. Man behöver moppe eller golfcar att ta sig runt till andra stränder/restauranger. Var på Plub Pla första gången 2009 och det var väldigt fint att se stället så omhändertaget efter 16 år. Rekommenderar starkt!

Sehr schöne Einzelbungalow, vermutlich recht neu. Gepflegter Garten, schöner Strand und Pool. Frühstücksbuffet klein aber ausreichend. Eier konnten in jeder Form und Menge jederzeit bestellt werden. Wenn Koh Mak dann dieses Hotel! Roller aber ein Muss. Unkomplizierter Verleih im Hotel. Faire Abwicklung und Preis. Nachttisch hat gefehlt.
• Smith (9/5): - Plub Pla was a fantastic stay, with the best pool I have seen in Koh Mak! with very welcoming staff, great garden views, fantastic meals and breakfast, very easy scooter hire at an affordable price, I would definitely stay here again. The room was very nice, with indoor and outdoor heated showers, and reasonable size, we stayed in the sea view superior. My only 2 negative points would be there were no mosquito nets around the bed, no umbrella in the room as some mornings were rain showers.

• Qalanawi (2/5): - Ich würde nie wieder in dieses Hotel gehen. Das Hotel ist zwar sauber, aber vom Strand war nichts zu sehen. Bei uns wurden die Fenster zugeklebt, damit keine Eidechsen mehr hereinkommen – trotzdem gelangten durch das Housekeeping welche ins Zimmer. Es spricht nur eine einzige Person im Hotel Englisch. Das ist wirklich eine Zumutung, da man warten muss, bis genau diese Person verfügbar ist. Die Rezeption ist nicht dauerhaft besetzt, und über das Frühstück braucht man gar nicht erst zu sprechen: Für Vegetarier gibt es keine Auswahl, und an Aufstrichen gab es lediglich Butter und Erdbeermarmelade. Das Internet war eine komplette Katastrophe – man konnte kaum Filme auf dem iPad anschauen. Einen Fernseher gab es auch nicht. Der Pool war durchgehend warm. Bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur erwartet man eigentlich einen erfrischenden, kühlen Pool. Für das Geld, das wir dort gelassen haben, war die Leistung absolut nicht gerechtfertigt – das Ganze war eher mit einem Hostel vergleichbar. Der einzige, der stets freundlich gelächelt hat und sich wirklich Mühe gegeben hat, war der Gärtner – dafür ein großes Lob.
• Jet53231556608 (2/5): Avoid at all costs - Do not stay at this hotel. Had a 3 night stay booked, went to a different hotel after 1 night. So many issues at this hotel: 1. Patio doors wouldn’t close completely so lots of insects and mosquitoes in the room. 2 Rooms are so basic, no TV, uncomfortable bed, rooms and bathroom in need of a total update. 3. Staff finish at 8.00pm. After that time your on your own, no one to speak to if you have any issues. 4. Staff need basic training in customer service, language barrier doesn’t help. 5. Swimming pool was filthy and wouldn’t dare go in there, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months if not years, told staff about this as no one was going in there pool, but unfortunately nothing was done as no cleaner available. 6. Very short staffed. 7. Beach was pointless as no sand to sit on as water comes right to shore. 8. Took 4 weeks to get a refund for the 2 days I didn’t stay there. Please listen to the negative reviews, I wish I did, costly mistake. I would not recommend this hotel, there are plenty more hotels on koh mak to choose from.

• MICHAEL (10/5): - Fantastic upon arrival. Pla at reception was brilliant, organised taxi,ferry tickets and transport to Pattaya.
• Angela (10/5): - Gute Unterkunft zu gutem Preis, der Pool und die Aussicht sind super. Die Bungalows insgesamt groß mit einer schönen großen Terrasse. Gute Abstellmöglichkeiten, großes Bad. Der Strand ist auch okay, man benötigt sowieso einen Roller, da die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen liegt. Die Anlage ist ziemlich groß und je nachdem welchen Bungalow man hat, hat man einiges an Fußweg bis zum Restaurant oder Strand. Bungalows sowie Restaurant sind über angelegte Holzstege verbunden, ohne Geländer. Da geht es teilweise rechts und links ganz schön tief nach unten, mit kleinen Kindern aufpassen!
• sakul (10/5): - the property is very clean and beautiful. the common area is beautiful and clean. the beach is nice and quiet. there is not much wind and waves on this side of the island, so it is good for kayaking. there are many flowers and trees on the property. it is just beautiful. the room itself is also spacious, clean and beautiful. the bed is very comfortable. we booked 3 rooms. everything in the room works, and everyone was happy with their rooms. what we didn’t expect was the food. the breakfast is amazing. it is not like a normal hotel breakfast. everything is delicious. we also had dinner there everyday, and every dishes we ordered was delicious. all 6 of us love having meals there. all the staffs are friendly and very helpful. we all enjoyed our time there. we definitely recommend this place for anyone going to koh mak
