Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Position beachfront pool staff clean restaurant close to shops and good sandy beaches
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet beachfront villa with pool views ocean restaurant big room
- Verified traveler (8/5): - close to beach with great pool close to good restuarant easy walk to beach
- Catherine (8/5): Relaxing rooms amongst the current devastation - Check in wasn't the most welcoming as they didn't know what day it was and seemed to have no idea about my booking. Once I was in the room and they had later checked I did have a booking, they were pleasant with me. The area is still heavily affected by the earthquake on Lombok a few months ago. There are few tourists and a high need for money to help rebuild, as I was repeatedly told by the sellers and was pressured by the friends of the staff who were on the property. The room was clean and tidy, the staff were happy to help with anything I asked. Being so quiet, it was very easy to have the pool to yourself! Just a short walk to the main Senggigi bars & restaurants, but some wonderful places on the doorstep too!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The A/C wasn't working and there was big ants all over the bathroom.
- Rosa (8/5): Very nice hotel by the beach - My husband and I stayed in a nice room by the very nice pool and a few steps away from the beach. The sunset is spectacular.
- Ted (8/5): I love this place! - Friendly staff that couldn't do more to help me! I stayed in the cottages and it's a nice place. I've stayed there 3 times before. Ocean across the street, A great breakfast too. Worth the price I paid for sure. No TV stations in English but add and movies are offered. Close to town, and shuttle offered.
- Hasnah (8/5): - Friendly kampong atmosphere. Acond need fixing as we have to change room twice cos acond breakdown. Pest control should improve.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Older but maintained with 1 side on beach - This area is mostly high end luxury and we wanted Indonesian feel so this was the place for us. We picked the beach side so you can hear the surf but watch undertow if you swim in ocean. The room is basic but works and 10 minute walk to Center. The pool is nice and clean and small with lots of chairs. The fridge is big and bed is good but bathroom pretty dated with poor shower/ tub combo, but all works. The best was our patio with pool and garden view and ocean sound. You don’t see it until you walk up to sea wall and look over. Breakfast choices were basic but good with grainy coffee. Just remember 1 half of Hotel is on beach side and the other is across busy road. And not all units face beach, ours did but can’t see it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Expensive compared to what you get - Good
- Dave (6/5): Reasonable rooms close to the beach and Senggigi. - Fine overall. Couldn't sunbathe by the pool as all sunbeds rotten and broke when moved. Breakfast was simple but nice. Unrelated to hotel (although we booked the trip to Gili from the guy there): watch out for horse taxi scam at Bangsal - just walk the last bit. The 75k shuttle and boat trip is ok value but they then try to sell you some very overpriced onwards trips and hold you in a cafe at Bangsal to make more money from you. You're then told to get on a horse taxi cart which turns out not to be included in the price and they try to rip you off many dollars for this - just walk, it's only about 500m. The actual boat ticket is 1500rp.
- Malcolm (10/5): On beach - Hotel has nice grounds that are tidy and clean but not pristine. Some rooms are the other side of a busy road. It can be quite dangerous crossing the road. Breakfast western and Indonesian.
- Ivana (6/5): Great loacation - Hotel staff was very nice and helpfull and room was clean - they were taking care of it every day, refill of fresh water was great too.
- Kulali (6/5): Value for money - The room was value for money. The room looked decent. The pool area was very nice with a beach view. On the second day of our stay the air-con wasn't working. We had to wait till the next day for it to be repaired. Our shower head also came out but was fixed the next day as well.
The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel manager, Mr. Aziz was a pleasant guy. He arranged all our activates and even arranged a car drive around the island. The hotel was in a prime location with great restaurants around.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Beachfront in Senggigi - Good value on a nice beach in Senggigi, pool, great views from the beach side of the property. Five minute walk to wonderful beach along dock in front of kila resort. Only downside of our stay at Senggigi were the constant peddlers and vendors along the beach (but this was pervasive everywhere).
- Verified traveler (8/5): the sea view is really a sea view - very nice property, right by the beach;
- Verified traveler (10/5): holiday - the property is located right at the beach with the sea-view bungalows (some rooms across the road), pool is accessible all night; bath tub and warm water
- Verified traveler (10/5): very nice - pool accessible all night, and so on
- Verified traveler (10/5): relaxing - directly at the beach, beautiful garden and pool, well maintained facilities, etc.
- Jeff (4/5): beautiful but hard to enjoy - my wife and I stayed in the sea view bungalow. The room is huge the resort it's gorgeous the problem is the street sellers will literally walk up to the room and try to sell you anything and everything. I've always thought your hotel was the safe zone but not here they're annoying you while you're in the pool, getting a massage all on the resort. we were there 3 days it rained the first 2 days it finally cleared up but it was hard to enjoy looking at the ocean like 7 guys with antiques to comforters come hounding.
