Guest Reviews
- Donna (10/5): - the outside pool area was clean , well kept
- Cynthia (10/5): - The king suite was roomy, clean, very comfortable bed. Sofa was saggy so not supportive, only complaint. Location is central to many Cape interests.
- Brendan (8/5): - Nice rooms nice property great location
- Donna (10/5): - Property was in a great location for us, the pool outside was clean, the indoor pool looked like it needed cleaning. Out suite was very nice; we would stay there again
- Gwendolyne (8/5): - This is a basic place to stay that was clean and in a convenient location. I rented a two room suite and it was large, quiet and accomodating. The front desk person was very short and unfriendly, and there is no daily towel or housekeeping services. However, I would stay here again.
- Kenneth (10/5): - cleaning products were a little strong smelling
- Harry (10/5): - Excellent place to stay, near great restaurants and shopping.
- Chris (10/5): - Great
- Svitlana (10/5): - The hotel is in a good location. There are many shops and restaurants nearby and it is within walking distance. The hotel has two swimming pools and a jacuzzi. Friendly staff. There is a good barbecue area. There is no restaurant, but each room has a small kitchen, we had breakfast in the room and it was very convenient. I recommend this hotel.
- Justin (10/5): - Love the pools and how close it is to everything , it’s literally in the center of the cape so even a ride to Provincetown is only a little over a hour, the room was big with two bathrooms, air conditioning worked great nice little barbecue area with basketball court and playground and the front desk had no problem helping with anything we will continue to make this a every summer destination for years to come
- Christina (10/5): - I stayed in the one bedroom with 2 bathrooms and small kitchenette area. There is no housekeeping so if you need towels or bed sheets you have to take them to the front desk and they will give you new ones Overall it was clean and the front desk staff was very nice! The air conditioner wasn’t working in the bedroom and they had a new one in my room within minutes!
I would stay here again They also have condominiums for bookings but you have to call the hotel directly, they are not available on line for booking Plenty of parking and there is a separate indoor racquetball building for your use.
- Christina (8/5): - The staff is incredibly kind. One of our a/c wasn’t working and they replaced it with a new one with minutes of reporting it The property is clean but there is no housekeeping so you have to take towels etc to the front desk and receive new ones. I felt very safe there. Something I didn’t know was that they have condominiums for rent but you have to call the hotel directly for dates. They have racquetball center which is nice. Light does come through the doorways at night like others have said. Overall I would come here again and it was a good value for the price (except June/July/Aug when prices are close to double! You won’t be disappointed.
- Mary (8/5): - Love this location. Front desk is very helpful and accommodating. Pool area and grounds are kept up very well. Parking is great. Bathrooms clean.
The down side; the room needs updating. Tables very worn, sitting furniture very worn and uncomfortable/saggy, bed fairly uncomfortable and nonsupportive, the rug in bedroom fairly stained and smelled like urine.
The room had a terrible chemical smell when we arrived. Took 2 days of airing to stop sneezing and still did not smell healthy for 8 days ( we could not leave windows open because we were on first floor.).
And maybe because we were close to reception area , very noisy especially kids banging door and running around.
Would try again (we had a great stay the year before)
And may be more requestive to the management.
We like the 1 bedroom suite.
- cassio (10/5): - Very nice place to stay
- Keith (6/5): - Just very average- and lack of elevator.
- kyha (10/5): Perfect - Great place to stay, highly recommend to anyone, only 1.5 hours to Boston and only a few minutes to the ferries to M.V and Nantucket. quiet & safe place. Laundry is only $2 a pop. Bed was very comfortable couch was a bonus, having a kitchen was handy. Shops and good coffee close by.
- Mariane (10/5): Very clean - The room was very clean. Also the pool area was nice.
- Megan (8/5): - Our room was great - spacious, clean and comfortable. My only problem was that there wasn’t an elevator to the 2nd floor for my aging parents.
- Jessica (8/5): - Pools
- Scott (10/5): Great value for the money - Very large room, property and room was clean and well maintained. Great value for the money
- Holly (8/5): - Unique pool areas. Loved the set up!
Also nice kitchennette in room.
- Anthony (8/5): - We really like the property. The room was really nice though dated. Matress and couch could use updating! Great to have 2 bathrooms.
- Wendy (10/5): - We had a studio which was very good value. The staff were very helpful, both indoor and outdoor pool areas were good and it was a good base to explore all of Cape Cod.
- Jessica (6/5): - Property/room was much smaller than anticipated. Full size bed is snug for two adults. Bathroom is tight moving. Sink was awkwardly high. Odd people hanging out and holding the door open while smoking at all hours.
Loved the location! Close to everything.
- Maria (6/5): An okay stay - It was okay. No housekeeping but a broom provided to sweep the floor. Five days was a long time to not have fresh towels. The bed was tiny: narrow and short. But it was nice to have a full size fridge and microwave and bathroom was fine. Ice machine outside room 211 was very noisy with people filling their coolers in the middle of the night!
- Phillip (6/5): - Service desk person was not friendly. Resort was overall ok.
- mukaddes (8/5): - We love the area but the room was a little dated and needs a deep cleaning (especially curtains, couch, chair and bathroom tiles) The pool is really nice and clean. Nice to have options for kids like arcade, playground etc.
- Yvette (6/5): - The rooms are clean. However, the pool is much smaller than it appears in photos. The deck space around the outdoor pool feels a bit claustrophobic. Also, it would be nice if with the name "resort", it offered breakfast and/or some sort of concession snack/beverage options. The deal with the towels was a bit strange. Guests were expected to bring the used towels to the front desk to get clean ones. Interestingly enough, there was an envelope in the rooms suggesting tips for staff although there is no daily room cleaning service. No front desk staff after 10pm also seems a bit unsafe. Overall, an okay stay. Not sure I would stay again.
- Ashlee (8/5): - The property itself was very clean. Everything about our stay was very nice except for the check-in. The girl at the counter was not very pleasant at all. We communicated several times and all times were unpleasant. We arrived a couple hours prior to check in and was told the room was not ready which was understandable however the tone and demeanor was not friendly at all. She also said the room "should be" ready by 4 which was the check in time. We asked for extra towels to which we were told housekeeping was not until 12:00 p.m. and we had to return our used towels before getting new ones as well. This was unexpected and inconvenient. The housekeeping also walked in our room without knocking and we were unable to get our room cleaned because there was no set time for them to come. Everything else about our stay was great including the amenities.
- Rhonda (10/5): - We loved the location. Initially, we were a bit disappointed because it's not really resort-like, but honestly we enjoyed our stay a lot. Also, having the basketball courts and racquetball available made our sons' day! We enjoyed both pools. Having the kitchen amenities (small fridge, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, as well as plates and cutlery) was so helpful. No daily housekeeping was available though. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the kind front desk staff.
- Jaycee (10/5): - Good place
- Natercia Borge (10/5): - Everything was great, lots to do.
- Teresa (8/5): - The property is close to everything, clean but not cleaning service during your visit, even though is great experience
- paul (4/5): Poor Service from Hotels -
was suppose to get two queen size beds. Receive one twin and a pull out couch.
Check in was way too late and check in was way too early
Not impressed with Hotels service.
- Donna (8/5): - The room itself was nice and roomy, however all the furniture had stains on them and the pull out couch was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Also there was no maid service provided.
- Bartley (8/5): - Property was central to traveling areas
- Selma (10/5): - Lovely place. Bed was comfortable, absolutely loved the double pools as well as the kid area and the hot tub!! Amazing, would recommend
- Glenda (10/5): - Nice place to stay on Cape, not far from Hyannis.
- jennifer (10/5): - Great pools
- Karla (10/5): - Very clean hotel
- Brooke (10/5): - It was cute and fun, the room was big enough for two. We liked it
- Faustina (10/5): - Everything was amazing!
- Nelly (10/5): - Loved this property
- ming (6/5): - the couch in the living room was so uncomfortable to sit on and watch TV and the TV in the bedroom was not a smart TV
- Celso (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- Katherine (10/5): - Everything was pretty good. Better than expected and I love the indoor heated pool/hot tub.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I loved the townhouse we were in. Only thing was that the shower was on the first floor and not the floor the bedroom was on. The place was cute.
- Kim (10/5): - We stayed in a suite, rather than a standard room. It's just beautiful. Worth the extra money. We had to stay an extra day unexpectedly. The staff was wonderful at setting it up.
- NORMAN ST (8/5): - The only complaint was the mattress. Everything else was fine.
- linda (10/5): - Holllytree was amazing. The price, location, room size, jacuzzi , 2 bathrooms, indoor /outdoor pool, hot tub. We loved the property!
Close to drive to all attractions. Had a great time with family
- Sue Ann (6/5): - Our room was very small, and unfortunately the closest room to the road and overlooking the pool. So it was very loud all the time and we had to keep our balcony door shut and the AC on. Closet is almost nonexistent. Rooms have been updated and look nice. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms have not been updated but toilet was new. Indoor and outdoor pools are great especially for children. I wish outdoor pool deck was larger and had more loungers. No cleaning service during our stay.
- Roger (10/5): Nice room. Nice stay. - Very spacious and clean room. Glad to have the second room with a living room and kitchenette.
If we come back to Cape Cod I will look them up again.
- cyndi (10/5): - Great pools
- Kyle (10/5): - With so many options at the Cape it was nice to find a reasonable priced, conveniently located, clean hotel
- Garth (10/5): Quick trip to the Cape - We had a unique room with a loft. It was a great room. The location is central to all of the Cape towns and activities.
- Monica (10/5): - Everything was great, only issue was forgot my card in the room and lady refilling the towels for the pool wouldn't give one.
- Miriam (8/5): - Reasonably priced, clean (although dated) room. Would return except for fact that smoking allowed outdoors on premises.
- abinezer (10/5): - The hot tub and swimming pool was amazing!
- Karen (10/5): - The rooms were really nice updated clean. The area has a lot of shopping and restaurants. there are also a lot of antique shops and consignment stores if you like those kinds of places
- Celso (10/5): - This is a great hotel. We enjoy visiting every year.
- James (10/5): - what an awesome place to stay great staff clean room and really good off season pricing
- Neurilane (10/5): - It was a wonderful place very clean I loved it
- Bobby (10/5): Really good - Really good stay. Good room. Nice pool area. Staff all nice. Would stay again.
- Elizabeth E (10/5): - Great property at a fair price point. The bed was very comfortable and the room was overall very clean. The couch and armchair were pretty stained and beaten up but all the important areas such as the bathroom and bedding were very clean. Loved the mini kitchen area. The fact they had a pool, arcade and fitness center and laundry was a huge plus! I would come back.
- Alexander (8/5): - good value for money
- Michal (10/5): מומלץ!!! - Nice place. Good service. Good lication.
- Danielle (10/5): love this place - Warm welcome upon arrival, and a perfect room for our needs and wants.
- Zbigniew (8/5): - Nice resort in Cape Cod style, pastels and decorations with a marine accent, only these mattresses on the beds, they probably remember the 1970s and the sofa bed is a real monument. Who likes to sleep on the Fakira bed, I recommend it.
- Judy (8/5): - Appearance was dated but cleanand comfortable.
- Charlene (10/5): - Great check in, big rooms and you don’t hear your neighbors. Very clean property.
- Michael (10/5): - Spacious room. Great hot tub-in pool area. Clean and neat.
- SUZANNE (10/5): - Very clean and the in room amenities like toaster, small table, comfy chair , and cups plates were very nicr
- Theresa A (10/5): - Great place to stay!!! Everything there that you need. Clean and comfortable!
Indoor and outdoor pool.
- Ken (10/5): Nice - Our suite was spacious and clean. Hotel was nicely decorated and the pools were clean.
- Lori (10/5): - Very nice property. It was clean and safe and I felt comfortable traveling and staying here alone.
- Bob (6/5): - I guess I have a different definition of 'resort'. But in their defense, several neighboring properties stretch the definition as well. The photo implied, at least in my mind, sprawling acreage there is no acreage. There are 2 pools which is a plus. Our room was clean but in need of updating. Wifi did not exist. Write up says 'close to beaches' which I guess is correct since it's Cape Cod so you are closer to the beaches there than you would be in South Dakota. But I could not find a beach within walking distance. But the prices were fair. I blame myself, not the property, for not doing better homework.
- Verified traveler (8/5): No cell phones/msgs - We liked this hotel. But our phones didn’t work, no text msgs as well.
Explanation from lady on the front desk - bricks building. 👍
All outside calls should call through the front desk.
- Guadalupe (2/5): - Poor customer service, no room service including daily cleaning, unprofessional and unfriendly staff, limited access to the gym, dirty bed linens, and no welcoming demeanor from the front desk staff.
- Madilyn (10/5): - Bed was very comfortable, property was well kept. Shower could use some updates but was clean.
- Shanel (8/5): Great Location/Great Comfort. - Our stay overall was great. The only downfall was that house keeping never came to clean our room and we had to request towels twice. I think it was just an oversight.
- Magan (10/5): - My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night just to get away and check out the cape. This hotel was very nice. Everything was within walking distance. We loved that there was an indoor and outdoor pool. The staff was nice. Chris at the front desk was very helpful. Our room was clean and bigger then I expected. We walked to a local restaurant that was amazing. We would definitely stay again.
- Edwin (10/5): - central to all activities on cape
- Ronald (10/5): - Beautiful suite, very clean very comfortable. Wonderful reception at front desk.
Would stay again, nice amenities!
- Laurie (10/5): - Was nice and clean
- Theodore (10/5): - 2nd year in a row staying here. Like last year was a great stay!
- David (8/5): - Room was clean and well appointed. Liked having a good sized bed, but also having a couch and coffee table for watching TV during the day. The little kitchenette was perfect too. Gave me a place to keep my drinks cold. Also liked having a bathtub. Lots of hotels are updating to just showers, but I enjoyed my bath!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Almost perfect - Everything was as or better than expected except the room floor. We don’t want the room cleaning service everyday, but at least we want it to be vacuumed before we check in. Sand was everywhere.
- josephine (10/5): - We were told on the phone we had a king bed, but the unit had a queen, because of some kind of issue. He didnt' tell us beforehand, but when we went back to the desk, they changed our room to a king bed. Very nice place and would stay again.
- Uwe (10/5): - Central. Demonstrated concern about corona virus infection possibility
- Elaine (10/5): Excellent Studio Apartment - Loved staying here. Polite staff. Great quiet room and good bathroom facilities. Would be more than happy to stay there again next time I return to Cape Cod.
Would have been nice to have had the option of a small kettle instead of a large coffee maker which was too big for one person and rather presumptuous that everyone likes brewed coffee.
One small quibble is having to mountaineer in the kitchen to get a plate and bowl off the cupboard shelf which was about 7 feet high !! This is dangerous and there were even older people than me in the hotel.
Would your insurance cover this if someone fell?
- Paula (10/5): Great place to stay - We were extremely satisfied with our place, we were in the townhouse and had plenty of room and the bed was super comfortable! Would definitely stay there again for a longer period if in the area again.
- Jillian (10/5): - Everyone who works here is so nice and great to deal with. Everything is in prestine condition.
- Heidi (8/5): - Great location within short drive to beach, several shops and restaurants.
- Sally (10/5): Vacation week getaway - The room was clean and spacious. Nice little kitchenette that had some basics. Pool area was great! Pool was heated and the hot job was fantastic! Close to many restaurants, area beaches, and local attractions. Would definitely stay here again!
- Alessia (10/5): - I had a great time at the Holly Tree! There's plenty to do on the property itself and it's in a great location, that's close to downtown Hyannis and the beach.
- adiatu (10/5): - Clealiness, amenites, great customer service
- charles (10/5): - Greater than expected
- Anthony (10/5): - It was clean and quiet.
- Maxim (10/5): - Perfect family stay with the pool.
- Debra (10/5): - Loved the suites. Arcade could be updated alittle
