- Chris (10/5): Best business hotel chain in Japan - I am a big fan of Route Inn - stayed at 5 or 6 around Japan. First time to stay in Grande class. The hot bath was exceptional - men’s has outside bath and a sauna. The room was bigger than usual - perfect. Front desk staff were exceptional. Check out the intricate wood carving behind the front desk. Route Inn is the best business style chain in Japan. Nothing

We travel with a larger group (24 people) and this was the only hotel on our 13 days trip able to handle everything (check-in in particular) in a very efficient way. Thanks a lot !! We will be back!

- Jessica (10/5): American in Ueda - Everyone was so polite and I love the eco consciousness. The breakfast buffet has great choices. No need to bring pajamas, facial care, q-tips, brush/comb, toothbrush/toothpaste, plus the usual soap and shampoo/conditioner. There are a few washer/dryers on-site but there is also a laundromat across the street if none are available (they even have a dedicated washer for shoes!). I didn’t try it but there are separate onsens on-site (female and male). Very short walk to Ueda station so great location!
