- Christopher (8/5): Good option for skiers wanting to stay near the mountain in a fairly modern, welcoming hotel. - We stayed at this hotel to be close to the ski slopes and we liked this hotel for sure. It is fairly modern, huge rooms, large and welcoming lobby area (good for hanging out or having a drink by the huge fire place), and other facilities were quite good. The onsen (hot public baths) was a very nice addition to have, and I found it great to do before and after a day of skiing. The ski slopes are about a 10 min walk and the hotel has some cool food trucks right outside its door in addition to its restaurant (didn't eat there). While most of Furano's nightlife is in the town about a 30 min walk or 5 min car ride away, there are a good number of options for apres ski and dinner near the hotel/ski area. Our room was HUGE but the bathrooms are super small; oddly small. Two people could not be in it at the same time. I gather the onsen (with its showers) is what most people use for daily showering but it is a cultural change. The breakfast in the morning is not bad, but not great either.

Great location, close to the slopes and had ample parking. Room could have more hooks and hangers especially if catering to the ski crowd!

- Terpstra (8/5): Really lovely hotel except for a couple of small frustrations. - Overall, the hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The room was spacious, comfortable and nice view outside. Had to ask for extra pillows. The bathroom was very weird. Tiny, like in a train sleeper cabin. Barely enough room for my legs to sit on the WC!! Staff were helpful. The major cost impact was having to pay for a whole night's accommodation just so I could keep my room to 4pm for a late bus to Sapporo. 9am check out is far to early. If it had been 1pm I could have skied in the morning, had a shower and then caught the bus. The breakfasts were excellent. As above the 9am check out is very inconvenient. Cost me a night's accommodation to be able to stay till 4pm. The bathroom was incredibly small for an otherwise spacious, modern and comfortable room. Shuttle bus should start at 8am not 8.30am to allow skiers to get to the Quad Chair for 8.30am start.

The rooms were too warm - the exterior of the building is slightly dated.

- Michael (10/5): Highly recommend this hotel for a ski trip to furano! - The breakfast was very good and had a great variety. Everything was hot and tasted fresh. The interior lobby and amenities/onsen looked newly renovated and felt very high end and clean.

The bed seemed to be from that period. The springs dug into my back and the pillow was also old thin and uncomfortable. We spent a lot on the hotel so disappointed the room was so uncomfortable. There was also a peep-hole in the onsen the staff hadnt noticed and had to be rectified after someone had peeled back the outside privacy screen. I was naked in the onsen when I realised there was a peeled back corner of the outside privacy screen allowing someone from the front to peer in unnoticed. I felt sick. That was a low point.

- Maegan (10/5): Great hotel close to Furano ski resort! - Proximity to the ski resort was easy. Just had to walk about 7 mins up the hill. The western room I booked was huge, it could easily have fit an entire family. Great common space area with a fire.
- billybong (5/5): Don't stay here unless you have no other option - Locating was the only redeeming aspect of my stay here. Otherwise, I did not enjoy my stay here and it paled considerably when compared to my other 3 hotel stays in Sapporo and Asahikawa. The manager left much to be desired. When I checked in, he told me that the hotel had 2 restaurants for dining. When I went to the dining room an hour later, the receptionist told me I needed a reservation and that they were fully booked. I appealed to the mgr indicating that I had just arrived at the hotel, how was I supposed to have a reservation when I just checked in. All he would say was "sorry"... that's it. Note: there aren't many places close by to have a meal. Regarding the hotel and room itself, OLD. old furnishings, old run, old bathroom. They still had the very old cubicle bathroom that every hotel I've stayed in over the past 5 years has renovated. Terrible. The toilet seat didn't fit it's place so it wouldn't stay in place when you raised it. Not good for a male. Expensive hote given the quality of the room Very disappointed.

- Gantushig (9/5): Nice comfortable and very latge room. Ski bus schedule and planning could be improved a little. - Great big room with large windows that got a nice view. Comfortable soft beds. The location is a bit rough if u walk to the ski resort as its a slight uphill walk. The hotel has a ski bus but its reservation only. So its not on a set schedule, which is confusing/troublesome.

Rooms look really dated, the mattress seems as though it has not been changed in decades-super soft and gave me a backache. There is a big step up to enter the bathroom and a big step down to exit, can easily trip.

- Hoh (9/5): Relaxing stay in Furano while exploring the area - Very warm/ clean, welcoming and spacious accommodation. An onsen was wonderful too and luckily we were there before their scheduled maintenance from 16 to 30 November 👍🏼 Separate toilet and bathroom but not a deal breaker though.
