- Allison (1/5): Terrible property ,rude staff not a safe area at all , they don’t even know the work clean - There was. Gas station next door When going in my room first thing I noticed was the roaches all over the bed some dead some alive. I went to set my bag down on the table and roaches were all over. Pulled the cover back to see bed bugs and roaches dead attached to the pillows and sheets.
I went in the bathroom and there were someone’s lashes on the counter and cigarette burns on counters and towels in the restroom.
When I told the staff the kicked me from the property and refused a refund. Definitely would NOT STAY ON THIS PROPERTY.
- Hensel (3/5): -

- Micahel (1/5): - It's been 12 days and I still have not received the refund deposit. From o9/01/2025
- Quentin (6/5): Motel en bordure du Downtown de Kansas City proposant des chambres spacieuses - La taille de la chambre et du lit L'absence de table dans la chambre, l'absence de consigne pour poser les bagages
- Kasimu (5/5): -
- Anna (3/5): Nothing - They did not have my r reservation when I arrived and I had to find another place to stay Trashy
- Kyle (3/5): Served it's purpose - It was available. I knew what I was getting into. The outside was deteriorating. The stairs and walkway looked like they could fall apart and the shower curtain might have had blood stains on it. It was far more expensive than it should have been because of supply and demand. For a quick overnight it was fine, never felt unsafe. Wouldn't stay again.
- Timothy (2/5): - So terrible
- Dikpal (4/5): - Overpriced
- Mumin Muhammet (8/5): -
- Magnus (5/5): -
- Sonnier (6/5): -
- Gia (1/5): It was horrible - Manager was rude and locked us out of our room with our stuff inside Manager was rude room was hot
- Huberts (2/5): Very poor - It had a vacancy. Old smells.horrid part of town. Never felt safe. Overpriced
- Danielle (5/5): Check the reviews before staying here. - The hotel staff were friendly. The room smelt like stale cigarettes and mildew. There were ants and flies in the room. The neighborhood it’s in is sketch with a bunch of homeless people hanging about right outside the hotel parking lot. You know it’s not the safest place when they keep the lobby door locked at all times and you have to ring a bell to get in.
- Salas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rodriguez (1/5): Bad -
- Tyler (10/5): - Very helpful staff
- Sonnier (7/5): Good -
- Kwang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jesse (7/5): Good -
- Brandon (2/5): - I would not wish this place upon my worst enemy. I was only in the room for a minute before I knew it was unsuitable to stay in. I expected it to be a little dilapidated based on the price, but I was not at all preoared for how horrible if an experience this would be. FILTHY! My bathroom had red bugs on the shower curtains and standing, dirty water in the tub. Used bar of soap in the tub as well. SMELLY! The rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. I was not the only one who thought this, another party left immediately because of this. UNSAFE! No smoke detector. Crackheads on the corners. RUN DOWN! Curtains held up with safety pins, chipped flooring, bad painting. Im not sure what rooms they photographed for the listing but mine looked nothing like it. RUDE AND DISHONEST STAFF! They could not refund me, despite actually taking my card at the desk, claiming only a manager could do so. They said a manager would refund me the following day, they did not and later informed Expedia they would not give me a refund. I sat in the lobby to try and book another hotel (and try and cancel through Expedia), and I was kicked out for remaining on the property for too long. Look at the reviews based on when they were posted, nothing good has been written of late. Negligent, dirty, unsafe property. Expedia should be shamed for listing it. Never in my life have I left a hotel/motel/lodge once checked in... ever. Do yourself a favor, find another hotel.
- Rodnesha (10/5): - Order
- Schutz (7/5): Good -
- Emily (8/5): - -
- Nicole (6/5): Pleasant - It was cheap. When we first arrived we had 2 friends with us that had a room at a different hotel and the guy working the desk saw them walk in with us to our room and he called us and said the room is for 2 people only. I didn't know u couldn't have friends at your hotel room..
- Schutz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (6/5): Won’t be back - Kinda dumpy place.
- Raymond M (6/5): - ROUGH neighborhood
- Beckyc77 (6/5): Pleasant - That it was close to our destination The area and the ppl who constantly made noise so made it tough to get to sleep
- Alexandria (1/5): Bad -
- Paul (3/5): The stay was adequate but I probably wouldn’t come back - Availability of coffee in the room and comfortable bed to sleep on. The staff was rude, there was no closet in the room to hang my coats in. The surrounding neighborhood was a bit rundown and old and a block away from the hotel homeless people were sleeping on the sidewalk and blocking the sidewalk. I avoided this by walking down another street.
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional -
- m h (8/5): - Liked the rooms and amenities.
- Smith (3/5): Poor -
- Amos (6/5): - It was cool
- Patrick (2/5): - Completely dirty in and out of room. I didn’t stay and they are still trying to charge me.
- Edson (1/5): Bad - These guys don’t even provide breakfast on site which given that the place is located in a dangerous neighborhood. The motel is located in unsafe neighborhood. Sleeping at this motel is a risk. Yes, it is cheaper but if you are concerned about your safety, this is not the best place to spend your nights.
- Alba (2/5): Don’t waste your money - I was disappointed, the room was dirty, the sheets were dirty, I found chips under the pillow, I stayed there for 4 days on the second day, cockroaches began to come out in the room and I found bedbugs, the shower curtain stank of cigarettes and was dirty, the worst stay of my life
- Kaley (4/5): 👍 it was aight, could've been much worse - Basic cheap motel, the homeless along the block did not bother us or come on the property at all. security cameras and well lit parking lot. Motel room wasn't very clean on check in, many foreign hairs throughout the room and in the bed and later on a roach scurried across the bed when we got back and turned on the light. You get what you get for cheap/last minute, no frills and maybe a bug friend or two. The person in the office said we'd be fine🤗
- Nephtali (2/5): - Unsafe, unclean
- Nicholas (10/5): - There were no problems.
- Jennifer (2/5): Very poor -
- Herrera (1/5): Bad - In truth, I found that place extremely dangerous to stay, so I returned from the entrance. I don't recommend it to anyone They should put a picture of the accommodation around
- Freddy (1/5): Horror - Location was extremely unsafe, had to switch rooms because we had a none smoking room and the room we were given stunk of cigarettes, Bathroom tap wouldn’t run cold, rowdy neighbours arguing outside the door.
- Madison (4/5): - Remarkably dirty room. Dead bugs and hair everywhere. There was even an empty McDonald’s cup in the room when we arrived? Very nice owners but much to be desired otherwise.
- Karen (2/5): No no no! - This review might not be fair since we never checked in. We had to cancel our reservation by July 20th to get a refund. We were in town to check-in on July 22nd. We had to drive by two blocks of homeless, and to get to the hotel building itself, we would have had to drive by peoples beds outside. I am not unfamiliar with areas like this, but there was nothing that said 'safe'.
We took our loss and left since that was the cancellation wording on our reservation.
There was nothing we saw that says this should be on a hotels.com recommendation list, and I worry about families traveling with kids affordably.
Any mistake that involves losing money is an expensive one. Sure would be nice to be able to get a refund though.
- CarReisha (2/5): DONT STAY HERE !!!! - I will never in my life stay at this hotel again ! I flew in for a work trip and it was my only option at first ! I seen roaches and it was just ran down and dirty so I couldn’tt stay ! I was in the room all of 15 minutes ! I told the man at the front desk that I can’t stay there cause it’s filthy and has roaches ! He attempted to fuss with me saying it’s no roaches there !! I told him he can keep the $140 for the night just give me my $100 deposit back ! Most def not worth $140 a night! Heck it’s not worth $50 a night ! It’s in the ghetto ! People standing out doing druggy and all !! I will never in my life go near this hotel again !
- Igor (4/5): - it's a ran down hotel with rooms recently remodeled. you could smell an old smoke in a room.
- Makayla (8/5): Good for the price - Outdated, but overall clean and comfortable for the price! Neighborhood was a bit noisy
- Chavez (3/5): Poor -
- Gulbin (2/5): - The room wasn't clean but there were clean towels and clean sheets. We asked for a different room and been told that there was no any availability then asked for a room service next day for cleaning , unfortunately no one came. We think they change towels and sheets but don't clean floors, tubs, and dusts. Yet, we could not figure out when was the refrigerator cleaned last!
Also, we could easily hear upstairs and next door rooms.
- Ansar (2/5): Terrible Place Don’t recommend - Terrible area terrible font desk service racist kept saying I was making noise had a whole mother cycle club out side no one complained. But I had company visiting me because I was not mobile and they were in small groups. And they made a very big deal out of where they called the police on me and my company will never recommend or stay there again. I’ve learned to never go for the cheaper areas. People where smoking drugs in the next room over it came threw my vents I had a child with me but they had the nerve to try to punish me for a noise complaint
- Amanda (7/5): comfortable, basic, enough for one night - This place surprised us a little. The stay itself was comfortable. The room was clean and had basic amenities like coffee, soap, towels. It was quiet in the area. The AC was also quiet but effective. LOCATION. This hotel is right next to a homeless encampment. We were very worried as we pulled in but luckily it was not a problem. There was only one way in and out of the parking lot, so that helped.
- John (8/5): Very good - Helpful staff Breakfast
- Everett (2/5): - There was a mouse in our room, the shower did not work, the whole place smelled like a dirty bathroom mixed with cigarettes, the floor was dirty, cabinet doors were falling off their hinges, power outlets were loose, no access to drinking water, toilet had feces stains from previous visitors, the blanket had holes bitten through them, towels and sheets were stained and dirty. Stay here only if you're broke and do not care about cleanliness or comfort. Otherwise, literally anywhere else is better.
- Anita (1/5): Bad - Only the price. Dirty, homeless camps. Building and grounds poor condition. Booked a different hotel.
- Cleveland (2/5): - Terrible neighborhood to much noise
- Melissa (1/5): Disgusting - Roaches, stunk, dirty brown towels to use, in the ghetto, no light in room besides bathroom. No ice
- Verified traveler (4/5): No good - Room was dirty. Hobo's and crackheads all around all hours of the night. People hollering all night. Barely able to get any rest.
- Jeff (4/5): Outside horribly unsafe, outside worn out and rusted, but the inside was clean and the beds ok!! - Price Old and run down, very poor English language usage
- Meston (1/5): Terrible stay, waste of a trip for my birthday - Nothing. The office person wasn't at the desk in the middle of the day so we had to wait for him to come back for us to check in, the sheet on the bed had what we hoped were crumbs in them, the shower and multiple parts of the room were dirty, every corner and area near a baseboard was visibly brown from collecting dirt and whatever nasties.the floor was dirty with again wanna hope for crumbs or some sort of sand.the shower only had boiling. Out side there were multiple homeless people screaming next to the gas station thays right infront of the motel. There were multiple bugs in our room and we didn't stay our booked 2 night. We left 4 hours after check in and have still not received our refund even being 3 days later.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst place ever - Next to homeless camp. Sirens all night. Room was filthy and in poor condition. No maid service in 3 days. Door had no safety lock. Breakfast was outdated fruit/bread. I had an emergency and had to leave on 4th night. Manager accused me of lying and refused to cancel/refund 4th night.
- Kimberly (5/5): Passable - The staff was very nice. The office has been upadated and is nice. The place has obviosly been there for a while. Not a great area but it was for one night. Just need a better type of cleaner. its hard to fight certain smells when a place is old. The rooms just need to be updated
- Devin (6/5): - Very few amenities. Had to ask for maid service. Needed one pillow but staff refused to provide. Property filthy.
- Becker (6/5): Pleasant - The person at the front desk was very nice and cool. It's in a bad neighborhood. Real bad. It was very entertaining but dangerous. The place is run down but you can tell they try. The people who clean the rooms need to do their job. O e side of the pillows were dirty. The up sides were clean. The shampoo bottle was half full.
- Edna m (2/5): - The bathroom was disgusting.
And the neighborhood was terrible not a safe place to stay
- Alexian (5/5): Passable - I was never told about breakfast? I thought it was included. Regardless I loved that it had a microwave and fridge. I reheated my leftovers. The bed sheets had stains, the floor was cracked, the pillows were dirty, it was a bit smelly. But I did pay a little so not surprised.
- Atkin (7/5): Good -
- Baltazar (1/5): Horrible - Nothing
- Mason (10/5): Solid Stay - Place was great! We only stayed there for a night but it was very convenient to get to the start of the parade, no complaints with the room
- Matthew (2/5): Very disappointing - Nothing! Everything !
The room wasn’t very clean there was half eaten food in the refrigerator
And I killed 3 cockroaches that crawled out of the coffee pot when I went to make coffee
Will not recommend to anyone!
- Joshua (3/5): Poor -
- Jerguš (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jessie (2/5): - I have video proof of the roaches in this facility. I did not stay . Not one but TWO rooms
- Jerry (2/5): Very poor -
- Shawn (2/5): - So we went to a concert and came back at about 1:00 a.m. with some friends to regroup and go to an after party. When we got to the room they front desk repetitively called us and harassed us about the people that were in our room. And then from there there was a roach problem where they were actually crawling around on the walls. We were met with threats of up charges for people staying in the room even though that it was a quick stop in and head back out. Never in my life have I been harassed for having extra people in my room literally the moment we walked in the door.
- Scott (4/5): - The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Otherwise, it was run down and there were prostitutes in the parking lot. As a large, confident male, I felt safe, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who doesn’t fit all those categories.
- Anonymous (1/5): I will never stay again no hot water terrible stay - A mess homeless people everywhere loud music playing people on drugs hanging out couldn’t sleep smh I wouldn’t let my dog stay there it’s horrible Horrible
