Verified traveler (10/5): Valued place to stay - In the old Galle. Very good location for strolling around the old Galle. Hotel is clean and comfort. Staff are friendly. I can recommend the hotel.
Rhiannon (10/5): Modern hotel and helpful staff - Modern hotel, my room had a nice big bathroom and a tv. I had issues with the WiFi so connected in the lobby (on large comfy sofas!) while they sorted it.
Verified traveler (10/5): - It is a small boutique style hotel in Galle fort. Staff is very friendly and helpful with your needs. Breakfast both local and continental is OK. There is a great restaurant in front of the hotel.

Andy (10/5): - Cracking guest house with unbelievably friendly staff. Undoubtedly you will pay a lot more more and receive an inferior service for higher star rated accommodation in Sri Lanka . Rooms clean and tidied every day . The breakfast was not extravagant but more than adequate , fruit , toast , tea and eggs although the Sri Lankan breakfast was ace , but you do have to ask. As for the staff they can get you anything you need , from Tuk Tuks to the best exchange rate .
Verified traveler (8/5): Cozy and Relaxed - Great little hotel within the walls of Galle Fort. Close enough to walk to all the main sites, but a block or so away from the busier streets, which is good because it is a little quieter. Very clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. Only stayed one night, but would have stayed longer had my itinerary permitted. Cozy and relaxed.

Megan (8/5): Shady and dishonest Behaviour - This guesthouse was nice, well located. However, upon arrival (at 6pm) the hotel offered us an upgrade on our room for USD10 - we had booked a standard room with a shared bathroom and they offered us a room with a private bathroom for this amount. We are backpackers and only staying one night so we declined and were told to wait then another man came out and offered the upgrade again to which we declined again. They told us to sit and wait for 10minutes, the same man thrn came back and acted like they were doing us a massive favour by upgrading us for free to a room with a private bathroom. He then explained the room we had booked was unavailable due to construction, so it was actually their fault that they couldn't put us in the original room. Basically, they had no choice but to put us in the better room and tried to take advantage by trying to see would we pay for it first. Really really bad form, it was their fault they did not have the lower room available and it should have just been given to us at their own cost. So dishonest!!

Anne-Marie (10/5): Quirky and good value. - A quirky little guest house which we chose for its position in Galle Fort and its price. It was very simple but good value for money, spotlessly clean and staffed by very helpful and charming young men. We paid more to have an en suite bathroom which was a bit dated, loo and shower within a plastic compartment and basin in the room. I peeked into the shared bathroom which looked to have been updated more recently. The room had old wooden floors and furniture and the beds were very comfortable. The first night we couldn’t find the switch to turn off the light in the bathroom but were shown the next day - just us being dozy! Breakfast was served in a long courtyard, stirred up fried eggs which they called omelets, loads of toast, butter and jam, tea or coffee and fruit. And a big bottle of water which we were told to take with us. Not a luxury hotel but well positioned and good value.
Verified traveler (10/5): Terrific place inside the fort. Not to be missed! - This place is fabulous- right in the heart of the old town, impeccably clean and service was amazing. My flight got changed last minute and the gentlemen there did everything possible to try and help us out. Breakfast is terrific as well. We had a room with a shared bathroom, which was sort of new for me. I did see that when I booked it however, so was aware ahead of time. It was so spotless it didn't bother me in the least. I had read some so-so reviews and wasn't sure about this place, but I tell you- this was probably one of my nicest stays in Sri Lanka. The people working here were very kind to us- let us use their phone, check out a bit late etc.. Above all, you are INSIDE the fort. Total value for the money you pay.

Our room was well presented and clean though does have s shared bathroom which suited us fine but some travelers may not enjoy. Would use again and feel in love with the Fort
Vidura (6/5): Decent hotel in a beautiful area - Hotel is located in a one of the most scenic areas in the down south Sri Lanka. Hotel itself is decent enough with clean and comfortable rooms. They only provide breakfast so you have to outside for Other meals and snacks, plus there is noone at the reception after 10pm
Verified traveler (2/5): Hotel in old town with terrible service - We do not recommend the hotel for the following reasons: 1. reservation was not respected. staff and manager did not want to male up for the mistake, saying that we had to pay more to have exactly what we booked for. 2. the available wifi did not provide internet access. he had to go to a cafe. 3. staff was not helpful and severely lacked curtesy. for instance, upon arrival said they did not have change, but a few minutes proposed to give us back change if we would upgrade 4. there was no daily room service 5. there was no welcoming beverage

Robert (10/5): You deserve this magical city!! - An incredible get-away 2.5 hr train ride from Colombo. The train station is a short walk into the fort; many posted signs for direction; walking the walk around the city; small beach by the lighthouse; friendly shopkeepers and locals
kyle (8/5): Very historic and neat hotel! Recommend! - Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel as it right in the middle of the old fort in galle and near everything you need to see. Elita next to the hotel is a great restaurant! Staff were friendly, the rooms were very neat and historic! Only thing to watch out for is price quoted on Expedia - prices were quoted in INDIAN rupees (very misleading) instead of Sri Lankan rupees which ended up being more than what we paid for however was still a good place to stay!
James (10/5): Great place to stay in Galle - I loved staying at this hotel/guesthouse. From the moment you enter and leave your shoes at the front door it feels like walking into a house. The place is spotless, the rooms are bursting with facilities (hair dyer, iron, TV, free water, fridge, wifi) and the staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Noshi. The location is perfect for walking around and exploring the UNESCO fort town of Galle and you can even borrow a bicycle from the hotel if you wish. There are restaurants right outside and the old streets around are so atmospheric.
