• Sylvain (7/5): Séjour très correct mais au regard des prix locaux, on peut s'attendre à beaucoup mieux. - Très belle vue sur la baie depuis certaines chambres ; accueil sympathique et personnel disponible pour répondre aux questions. Meubles un peu vieillots qui semblent avoir bien vécu dans certaines chambres. Pas de douche chaude le matin. Petit déjeuner correct, sans plus, mais peu varié.

• Tijs (9/5): Leuk hotel met prachtig uitzicht. - Het uitzicht is adembenemend mooi. De kamer is heel ruim en heeft aanwezig dat je nodig hebt. Het terras is een groot pluspunt. De badkamer is basic maar in orde. Het personeel is typisch Kapaverdisch: heel stil en gesloten, maar op zich wel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was heel simpel: wat pistolets, toastbrood, yoghurt, kaas, confituur, fruit, fruitsap en een eitje als je het vroeg. Na 4 dagen werd het wel wat eentonig. Qua locatie, prachtig uitzicht maar je zit wat verder van het centrum. Na zonsondergang wordt er aangeraden om een taxi te nemen voor de veiligheid, maar overdag was er geen enkel probleem om te wandelen.

Un séjour génial surtout grâce au staff extrêmement gentilles et serviables du matin au soir, que ce soit à la réception, pour le ménage ou le petit-déjeuner. Tout s'est super bien passé a Sao Vincente grâce à elles, elles ont été de bpn conseisl. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Lo staff è stato così cortese da organizzare sia la visita a sao pedro comprensiva di bagno con le tartarughe, sia il taxi per l'aeroporto. Purtroppo non c'era acqua calda e la struttura è in cima alla collina, una posizione non comodissima se si ha bisogno di andare e rientrare più volte.

• Séverine (9/5): Très bon séjour - Très bien situé, à 2 min du centre à pied. Chambre spacieuse et confortable, bien équipée. Toutes les personnes que nous avons vues à l'accueil étaient très disponibles et accueillantes. Et elles parlent français, ce qui est bien pratique 🙂 Merci pour ce séjour !

• Karolin (9/5): Schönes Zimmer, freundliches Personal - Schönes Zimmer ganz oben mit Blick über Mindelo und die ganze Bucht. Sehr freundliches Personal (sprechen auch gut englisch). Gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Abends sollte man besser ein Taxi nehmen, sonst tagsüber sichere Gegend. Fußläufig ins Zentrum, man muss zurück nur ein paar Meter die steile Straße hochgehen.

Goeie service dat taxi vanaf het vliegveld naar het hotel vooraf geregeld was. Jammer dat je ‘s avonds niet zomaar van de stad omhoog kunt lopen (advies was om ‘s avonds een taxi te nemen)

Breakfast is ok. The room is very basic and a bit dark. Although there’s a nice view over the city from the breakfast area, the view from the room isn’t great, as it overlooks a small enclosed courtyard.

• Franck (10/5): C’était très bien, d’ailleurs on y retourne dans quelques jours - La dame nous a super bien accueilli, possibilité de laisser nos bagages quelques jours car nous revenons après, dans les hauteurs, proche du centre-ville, seulement 200 CV le taxi pour y aller soit deux euros . Très bon petit déjeuner. Nous avons aimé le décor et la propreté de l’établissement. Superbe vue depuis la terrasse commune de l’hôtel. La montée un peu dure si on ne prend pas de taxi.
• Susana (8/5): Belle découverte. - La vue est superbe, l'hôtel surplombe la ville. Nous partions souvent à pied mais rentrions en taxi, la ville n'étant pas très grande. Étant une famille de 5 personnes, ce n'est pas toujours facile de trouver un logement adéquat. Ici nous avions largement la place dans la suite, à un prix très raisonnable. Pas de paiement avec carte possible! Étant donné qu'une grande partie des distributeurs d'argent sont soit vides, soit en panne et n'autorisent que de petits retraits journaliers, l'opération nous a coûté très cher, les banques capverdiennes prenant une commission de 10 euros à chaque retrait!! Pas tellement acceptable qu'un hôtel n'accepte pas les paiements par carte.

• Marco (10/5): Exceptional - Great and diverse breakfast. You can request eggs if you don't eat bread like me, and there are also yoghurts and fruit. At first I didn't love the fact that there were stairs inside the room because we have a 1 year old baby, but we managed to protect that area.

The breakfast was simple but they cook eggs on top of it the way you want which made it a nice addition. Comfort is simple but it didn’t disturb me The walls are quite thin and the noise is carried easily, I’m sensitive to noise so in the morning it did wake me up

• Agnieszka (10/5): Great quiet spot in Mindelo. - Amazing views from the terrace, lovely owner and staff, room was clean and set up as we requested. We also had access to a fridge. Loved eating and hanging out on the terrace. There's also a cute local cat. It's a sleepy, quiet road, no rowdy parties or neighbours. Breakfasts were plentiful and good variety, except would benefit from some token veg. Both beds were super comfy, with new mattresses. Walk into town is about 5-10 minutes downhill. The room was a little dark and it took us a while to figure out the light vs. fan combination. Bathroom door kept going a little ajar. If you have mobility issues, it's up a short, steep hill, but it's good practice for San Antao 😆

The receptionist/host went above and beyond to help me retrieve my AirPods, which I had accidentally left behind, and even ensured they were delivered to the airport before my flight—truly exceptional service. Wonderful location and nice room (Sincopode) It smelled a little like cat pee in the halls/entrance. The rooms were noisy carrying sounds from the corridors and the courtyard. The fans and the ceiling lamps were a little impractical in use.

Room was good too and the breakfast was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. Bit of an uphill walk to get there, but the location was good and it was easy to get to the center of town by walking - cabs are inexpensive.

• Rita (9/5): Good accommodation - The room was quite good, with a good toilet, a big closet with a safe, and a fan. I liked the communal balcony overlooking the city and the sea. Very close to the center (about 5 min walk). It was recommended to us (2 women) to avoid walking back from the centre at night, and to take a taxi instead as it could be a bit dangerous. We decided to walk (roughly 5 minutes), and we didn't find the place dodgy or dangerous at all. Quite the contrary: quite calm. However, it can be a good idea to be cautious. Staff was very nice!

The area around the hotel looks a bit dodgy - deserted after dark barring a few dogs - so it is safer to get a taxi to go downtown (the hotel will arrange this), but without that, the view would be nowhere near as good so still worth it :)

• Rachel (10/5): Lovely hotel with incredible views and super helpful staff - Really lovely place with the added bonus of a private balcony ( you need to book this) high on the hill above Mindelo, you reach the cooling breeze and have the added advantage of watching the sun set from your private space. Lovely breakfast, helpful staff and a central location within 10 minutes walking of the city centre. We are planning a return visit Thank you. Rachel and Malcolm.

• Greg (10/5): Relaxing stay in Mindelo - Everything was perfect! Sonia and the staff were super nice, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and fan on the ceiling helped a lot to sleep better as the weather was pretty humid. The breakfast was good as well. But the highlight is definetely the view: we loved to chill there with a drink or a book. Absolutely recommended! The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, but not a big deal
