Daniel (10/5): Excellent hospitality, environment and value for money! - The staff were amazing they went above and beyond without hesitation, the environment was serene and tranquil, the type of guests were all lovely and welcoming, the facilities were clean and the food was great too! I have nothing bad to say about the property. I would definitely be going back.

It was a nice serene environment with clean rooms. I liked the breakfast & lunch that was provided so we had more time to enjoy the property without having to leave.

Andrew (10/5): Relaxing, pampered are the words that come to mind. - Facilities and staff were exceptional. Staff were attentive to the needs of the clients. Plus, facility is well maintained. Breakfast eggs were not the same. Texture and peeling the eggs were off. Found out the eggs were air fryed than steamed. Oh well, this does not detract from the fact that the place is exceptional.

Michal (10/5): - It was our first time staying at Descanso (my partner previously stayed at the sister property, Santiago), so outside of the pictures, we didn't know what to expect. The service is top notch. We were receiving updates via text messages, and they were timely and on point. Special shout-out to Dustin for making our arrival a breeze with updates and his amazing introduction to the property. The property is chic and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. There's a pool, hot tub, firepit (in case you wanted to go from the usual 115*F of Palm Springs heat to more than 140*F>). Public bathroom and a shower too, in case you didn't want to go back to your hotel room. ;) But the best were the little touches. And there were a lot of them: a complimentary snack bar in the room, complimentary aluminum water bottles that are yours to keep, cantine that's open 24/7 and from which you can pick up soft drinks/coffee/tea/make popcorn, lunch included in the price and served poolside (usually salads and sandwiches from various places in PS), complimentary popsicles and ice-cold peppermint towels also served poolside. This is a 5* service, and the resort also provides privacy for you and your partner(s) to enjoy some relaxation time. I cannot recommend it enough. We will definitely be back.

Ryan (8/5): - 11am checkout on a Sunday was just too early. Why do that to your customers? As if a big slug of new guests are flowing into a men’s clothing optional resort on a Sunday evening! They gave us a grace extra :30 but made it seem like they just wanted to cheap out and send their cleaning crew home early. Otherwise it was a really cute place and the staff was nice.

I’ve stayed in quite a few gay resorts and this is the best one so far in terms of finish and presentation. Would be great to have a small gym and the ability to buy occasional drinks around the pool, but otherwise all great.

Continental breakfast available by the pool in the morning, and an option to order a box lunch for delivery if you're going to lounge around for the day. Close enough to downtown to walk if that suits you. Beautiful pool, hot tub, and firepit area. And the opportunity to freely be in some gay adult space was welcome. What more could you ask for when you need to escape a busy life or a cold grey winter for sun and palm trees?

When the staff knows your name, asks questions that aren't intruding but overall helpful, and then has capacity to follow up and ask you again to make sure your visit is wonderful - 5 star service! The entire experience from check-in to check-out couldn't have gone better. It is a wonderful value for such an exclusive experience as well.

Darin (10/5): Modern, cozy, retreat with so many amenities! - This modern yet cozy boutique men's resort is such a gem with many amenities like breakfast, lunch, coffee/water/sodas, and they even host a wine happy hour on Thursday/Friday/Saturday from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. This resort has so many small touches, making it an incredible location to relax and be yourself. The staff are just incredible! They are friendly, get to know you, and truly enjoy serving their guests. They keep the resort immaculate and ensure there are towels at the pool, the "Cantina" which has complimentary coffee, water, and sodas, is stocked, and they keep cookies there throughout the day. The pool is heated and there are heaters on the patio for outdoor seating. There is also a fire pit which was great for hanging out at night in the crisp Palm Springs air. I will definitely be back! I love that if you want to be solo and relax, you can. But if you want to be social, this is a great place to meet others. *Note - this is a men's resort, and the common areas are clothing optional. Everyone from the staff to fellow guests were kind and respectful regardless of which "option" people chose. I honestly can't think of any improvements for this property!

Everyone goes far out of their way to ensure your comfort, relaxation and happiness. From the moment you enter the front gates, all of the world's stressors leave your body - as though entering the on-earth gates of heaven into paradise. The area on the property is gorgeous, well-maintained and conducive to a total boy relaxation experience!
