- Matthew (6/5): - We love the idea of staying in historic properties, and The Miners Hotel certainly delivers on uniqueness and character. That said, cleanliness and freshness are equally important, and unfortunately this is where things fell short for us. As a family of five, we were disappointed to find the accommodations better suited to four, despite assurances otherwise. For the price, we expected a higher level of comfort and accuracy in the listing. While the experience of staying in a period hotel in Butte is memorable, the overall value simply didn’t live up to the billing. In short — charming and historic, yes — but be sure to confirm the room details closely before booking.

- brian (10/5): - A very nice place to stay. Easy to get to. Check in was super fast and easy and checking out was even easier. While the building and rooms are obviously old, it is very clean and up to date. Bring your own pillows though. The TV had a few streaming services on them like Netflix and Amazon, but have others for you to sign into if you felt the need. Located in historic downtown, so it is close to a lot of pubs and places to eat. Will definitely stay here again.....with my own pillows.

- Maria (10/5): Very charming - Check-in took awhile as there was no one attending the deak. They did leave a number to call but no one answered and I left four messages. A line began to form. Once staff did arrive it went smoothly and quickly. The hotel and room were clean and in excellent shape. The room was comfortable and clean. Very roomy and lots of charm. I would stay here again. Note : May -September there is a farmers market out front on Saturday mornings.

- Stacey (10/5): - Cute Hotel, probably the best one in town. Connects to the speakeasy in basement. Rooms are large and comfortable. You will have to climb stairs to your room, but they will carry your bags if needed. I would stay here again.
- Karen (8/5): - This is a historic building that has been converted to a hotel so some issues are expected first off the room had no outside window had I booked through their website I would’ve known that, but it was a little bit of a surprise. The floor in the room was disgusting, they are carpet tiles that are starting to separate and the gaps are fairly large. The shower/bathroom are nicely done great amenities in the shower overall if you wanna stay in historic hotel, this one’s not bad be aware everything is closed Sunday night I had to eat at Taco Bell .

The hallways are lined with old photos, each room is named for a historic copper mine with additional information in each room. Excellent job updating the space while keeping much if the historic building details in place. Gorgeous woodwork, transom windows, and desks made from antique doors. Vintage postcards on display. Beautifully remodeled and tiled shower. They even made the brick wall of adjacent building cute with stencils, lights, and faux plants. The epitome of what a boutique hotel should be. Notes: must climb stairs so keep that in mind, bed pillows could have been softer, and AC window unit pretty noisy, no breakfast on-site but gave significant discount at coffee shop next door. I loved it here and will stay again. Probably best for couples or single travelers.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with soft sheets. In the morning, we walked a few blocks to breakfast. Delicious and lots of cool shops along the street. I would stay again if i am ever in Butte. Also, we arrived late and the staff sent easy self check-in instructions. Much appreciated!

The room carpeting in a little old and the place doesn’t seem very well lit, but it’s a historic place. My favorite part was all the newspaper headlines that are framed from when the place was a bank.

- Sherri (8/5): - The manager is so lovely. This is an old hotel, with great history. It could use a bit of an update, but other than that, it was quiet, and check in was easy. It’s walking distance to a distillery and it does have a speak easy, not open on Sundays, sad for us.

We were on the ground floor and felt a little challenged by the lack of windows and the noise from the Speakeasy and customers. The parking is a bit challenging being downtown too. But the walkability I think makes up for that. Overall would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

- Greta (10/5): - Our stay at Miner’s Hotel was wonderful. We stayed in the Orphan Girl room which was nicely appointed. The room was stocked with complimentary water, soft drinks and snacks. Nice touch. My friend’s foot was broken and the clerk graciously brought our bags to the room. Small coffee area on each floor is nicely stocked with an assortment of warm beverages. Every detail is well thought out and charming. This place is a gem. Plus, a cool speakeasy hidden in the basement that is a must see. Fabulous cocktails!!

- Heidi (10/5): Our only choice in Butte! - This is the only place we stay when we’re in Butte, ever since we tried it a couple of years ago. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, the towels and linens magnificent, snacks and fridge in the room, coffee/tea Keurig outside your door, and a bar in the basement! This is an historic building with so much charm… walkable to shops, bars, restaurants. It’s safe and close to everything. If you want a pool and hot tub stay down by I-90…. But then you’d be missing the best of Butte!
- Ward (10/5): Never on Sunday - Parking was easy off street next to the hotel. No lift though, but very nice rooms. I felt like Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke should've been my hostess. The rooms are spacious, the bath room has a large shower. There is a problem with the Internet, needs to be resloved. The area has a few restaurants, but on Sunday when I was there, most were Closed. It happens. I would stay here again if every in Butte if Internet is resolved and not on a Sunday.

- Clara (10/5): Very unique hotel. All right. - The receptionist Cassidy was wonderful. She may suggestions what we could do after check in. Only suggestions for the hotel is the lamps by the bed in the future should be replaced with ones that have USB charging. Carpet were dark for my taste. Important. If you have any type of minor handicap, we’re stairs are concerned call ahead to reserve one of the down stairs rooms. Plus if you’re in one of the rooms that have no windows set an alarm It was a wonderful stay

- Beth (6/5): Parking is tricky - If you stay on Friday night during the summer, be sure to park in the correct parking garage. They have a farmers market right in front of the building on Saturday morning and we were blocked in. Fortunately the people were really nice and made a way for us to get out. You need to park in the lot with entrance from Galena Street. NOT the entrance directly across from the hotel. If you don’t have to walk up a flight of stairs from the lot, you’re in the wrong place.

Cassidy is a friendly and helpful manager, and the property is so quaint and historic. I kinda want to stay in a different room each time, because they are all unique! A breath of fresh air : )

- Abundant Life Fellowship (10/5): - I really enjoy this little Hotel. It's all freshly remodeled and everything is up to date. The only thing about my room I didn't like is that there were no windows in it. Other than that it was amazing!!
- Mark (6/5): Boutique - The word boutique has different meaning to a uk resident. This hotel was like stepping back in time. If you want to stay in a hotel from a past era this is for you. If you want a contemporary experience this isn’t it.
- Edward (10/5): - Great place with an awesome speakeasy in the basement. The location in old Butte allows for a good location to walk around the area. They did a great job of making the rooms a decent size with what you need. Great decor!!!
- Lea (8/5): - Excellent place to stay. Love the property and speak easy downstairs. Only drawback was the people speaking loudly in lobby. We could hear every word in our room. It was louder than the TV.

- Donna Ruth Upson (6/5): - It should be disclosed that there is no elevator access to the second floor units of the property. It would have impacted my decision to book here. Had I known, since I had my 84 year old mother and several bags to drag up a long flight of stairs, I would have booked differently. Receptionist was great and helped bring stuff up, but it was several dangerous trips down myself when we checked out.

- Sarah L (8/5): Beautiful, Historical, Charming Butte Treasure - Super cool digs! This place has done a fantastic job of highlighting local history in a way that is unique and beautiful. I loved looking at all the historical images and newspaper clippings in the hallways and even in my room, the Orphan Girl Suite. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The fact that the charming speakeasy is downstairs is a big plus. My one complaint was that I had a very hard time sleeping, because the gorgeous wooden door to my room had a transom above that let all the light from the hallway in. If you are bothered by light, maybe ask for a darker room, or bring a sleep mask.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel is really unique, and nicely decorated with historical pictures from Butte. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the staff are very friendly. There is a speakeasy bar downstairs which is an incredible place to unwind from your travels.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Steeped in Butte History! Every room has a name and an historical note. Speak Easy in the basement is fun and very well done. Owner leads a tour of the historic City that is $25 per person and absolutely wonderful. Loved our stay in the beautifully restored hotel!
- Debra (10/5): Great boutique hotel in Butte Montana - It was a small, very kitchy and wonderful boutique hotel. It is family owned and run and we loved the entire family. 51 Below is the speakeasy in the old National Furs vault. It is an absolute must see and enjoy! An added plus was a thorough tour of Butte with the owner. Very interesting mining history which included the red light district…ghost stories and all!

Our room (lexington) was noisy when windows open (in July) with heavy fan noise and high pitched sound, so we couldn't enjoy the cool butte air at night. Instead we shut the windows and the ac didn't work (was loud but not cooling). Maybe other rooms are better?

I asked one of the staff if I would be alright to get a tour, they said yes. Along with the tour she explained the history of the hotel, I was impressed. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a room with a very comfy queen bed and amazing colored walls - deep magenta in one room, apple green in the bathroom, a sort of cantaloupe color elsewhere. Furnishings were clean and comfy and tasteful. Décor was "period" to the 1890s. Amenities were very nice. The air conditioning worked. The front desk person was just delightful! And there's a really cool "speakeasy" bar in the basement. Highly recommend!

- Kimberley (10/5): Overnight in butte - Checking in was easy, everything is keyless entry. The hotel is very old with a lot of history. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The only downside is there’s no elevator and I had a very large suitcase. There’s a speakeasy downstairsIt’s in the historic district within walking distance to several restaurants.

- Matt (10/5): Great Boutique Hotel with a local flavor! - We had a very nice and comfortable stay at the Miner's Hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. I loved the history in this part (Uptown) of town. Butte has a lot of history and the Miner's Hotel fits right into that feel. Really happy we decided to avoid the chain hotels and get some local flavor.
