- Luisa (10/5): Ottima struttura - Posizione perfetta a pochi minuti dalla Bierwoche. La stanza, davvero ampia, era un piccolo appartamento , tutta ristrutturata e nuova. Buona la colazione. Il proprietario ci ha messo a disposizione un posto coperto per la moto viste le giornate di pioggia Un limite per alcune persone potrebbe essere la mancanza di ascensore .il prezzo dell hotel è un po' piu alto della media delle strutture prenotate nel nostro viaggio in Germania e non includeva la colazione

- Horst (5/5): Passable - breakfast was good, breakfast room was pleasant I was expecting a charming country hotel reflecting a small town. But the rooms were fairly bare and functional but not warm and welcoming. They were very functional which would have been fine for a business trip, but I was looking for more local flair.

- Roland (8/5): - Nettes, kleines, familiäres Hotel. Kein Luxus aber alles was man braucht und recht neu renovierte Zimmer. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht auf den Stadtpark.
- Enrico (4/5): Disappointing - The location is closed to the center. The shower was modern and super nice. The privacy was super respected. Check in super flexible. The bed sheets and matras covers were quite old, you can feel them kind of scratching you. Probably payed 10 euro 10 years ago and still using those. The price per night was incedibly insane (100 euro per night, breakfast excluded). I found much more comforts in cheaper hotels in bigger cities. And also, breakfast is ending at 10 am. Really, I come there to chill after a travel, let it be till 11. Check out at 10 am. So the morning is a run.

Such helpful staff who genuinely wanted you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay. Eggs cooked to order as part of an excellent breakfast. Great value for money all round. Would highly recommend.

- Katja (2/5): - Kunterbunte wenig geschmackvolle Einrichtung im Eingangsbereich. Zimmer grundsätzlich ok. Jedoch befindet sich unter der Matratze anstelle eines Lattenrostes ein Brett. Bequem ist das in keinster Weise.

- Dirk (6/5): Ok für 1 Nacht - Wir waren dort für eine Nacht. Dafür war es ok. Der Empfang war etwas lustlos. Man wollte nicht wirklich dass wir Frühstück dazu buchen. Von außen ist das Hotel nicht attraktiv. Innen ist es besser. ABER dass die Heizung nachts im Juni läuft und man sie NICHT ausschalten kann ist ein Witz! Die Betten knallhart und super unbequem. Wir sind mit RÜCKENSCHMERZEN aufgewacht und waren froh dass wir nur 1 Nacht gebucht haben.

- jette (8/5): Godt til en enkelt nat på turen sydpå - Udefra ser hotellet lidt usselt ud, men værelset var moderne,stort og rent. Der har engang været en have, men det er vist mange år siden,den er passet!
- Sybille (8/5): Gute Lage für Burgfans und Bierkenner - Wir haben zwei Nächte hier verbracht und uns wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist prima, um Kulmbach zu Fuß zu erkunden und für den Besuch der Plassenburg! Weniger wander-freudige Menschen nehmen hierfür den häufig verkehrenden Bus. Abwärts läuft es sich gut! Das Zimmer ist praktisch und sauber. Die Rollos waren hilfreich, um trotz Hitze bei offenen Fenstern zu schlafen. Die Terrasse mit Blick auf den Park schön für einen Schlaftrunk. Das Ehepaar Ertl ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt Tipps für Restaurants, die man zu Fuß erreichen kann, während das Auto vor der Tür geparkt bleibt! Auf Frühstück haben wir verzichtet, da es dies nur bis neun Uhr gibt. Aber wir habn das Alpha-Cafe entdeckt mit lauschigem Garten und dort würden wir wieder frühstücken, wenn wir im Hotel Ertl absteigen würden - Kulmbach lädt ein zum Wiederkommen!

- Piers (10/5): Lovely, friendly and comfortable older hotel - Easy to find in the middle of Kulmbach's central park. 7 minutes walk to a beautiful city centre. On a busy road, but very quiet once you're through the front door. Old fashioned, but we love old fashioned. Owner speaks perfect English. His family have owned the hotel for 140 years. (His suggestions for restaurants were both excellent.) The breakfast room has newly been updated. Breakfast really good with local produce. They have a guests' after-hours bar which we made full use of. Very handy for the bus to Bayreuth, Wagner fans! We will stay here again.
