- IRINA (10/5): - The hotel fully lives up to its price-to-quality ratio. It’s one of the best on the coast, within walking distance of the first and second stations. The staff are very friendly — everyone smiles, does their best, and tries to help with any questions. We will definitely come back here again Wi-Fi is very poor, not enough to work remotely.

- Jennifer (7/5): Preis - Leistung stimmt - Eigene Liegen am Strand, gute Lage an der Station 1 wo das Meer am schönsten ist, Personal freundlich Sonnenliegen werden teilweise den ganzen Tag besetzt mit Tüchern obwohl niemand kommt, auch nicht-Hotelgäste dürfen kostenfrei die wenigen Liegen die es hat nutzen. Frühstückauswahl sehr wenig, daher sind wir meistens an anderen Orten Frühstücken.

The hotel was right on the beach, we enjoyed the sun loungers and complimentary towels. The food and drinks were great. Their cocktails were made fresh and were the best we had during our time in the Philippines. Nothing - everything was amazing.

- Nal (10/5): Idyllic beachfront resort - We loved everything about Sur. It’s located at the quieter end of White Beach but only a 5 min walk to Willy’s Rock and -10 mins to the busy area or a couple of mins via tuk tuk. We loved the bar and restaurant on the beach, being able to walk straight into the sea and the friendly staff. The food and cocktails are also excellent and well priced. We would absolutely stay here again. From what we’ve seen, this is one of the nicest places on White Beach and is true beachfront (unlike others that say they are but are on the opposite side of the road). There is nothing not to like.

Nice right on the beach with cabanas and lounge chairs to enjoy. It was a bit underwhelming mainly due to the lack of food choices available at the hotel. Breakfast is preordered and a little light on the serving sizes. No bottomless cups of coffee here. The bathroom and window were a bit grubby

Távozáskor nagyon nehézkesen ment a kicsekkolás, előző este direkt kértem, hogy szeretném rendezni a fogyasztást, de az első este fogyasztását elfelejtették kifizettetni, igy 20 perccel később tudtunk csak elindulni a kikötőbe...

Wenn ich nur nach dem Personal gehe, dieses war so freundlich dass ich nur deshalb - Es lag direkt am Strand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen (leider wurden die schon ab in der Früh reserviert, obwohl die Leute dann erst viel später gegen Mittag kamen, das fand ich nicht in Ordnung). Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Ich hatte ein ziemlich altes modriges Zimmer. Auf dem Flur wurde gestrichen und alles roch nach Farbe. Die Balkontür lies sich nicht ganz schließen. Dafür fand ich den Preis etwas zu teuer.

- Tom (8/5): Very comfortable, nice quiet location - One of the best things about this hotel is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. Location is also good - it is on the quieter end of the beach but still only about a 10 min walk away from the busier part if that’s what you are looking for. Nice outdoor area with lounge chairs and cabanas where you can relax for the day. They also have happy hour from 1-10pm which is a big plus. The bed was quite small for two people. On our last day the hotel changed the breakfast policy. Before this breakfast was unlimited and the options were reasonable enough. On our last day we were informed that that breakfast had to be ordered from a set list and we could only choose one option. It was disappointing considering what we had for breakfast the previous mornings. I ordered the bacon, bread and eggs and was then informed that there was no bacon left so I ended up with a slice of bread and two eggs. If it’s a cost saving measure to introduce this new policy for breakfast I would consider reviewing this, as almost all the hotels we stayed at during our month in The Philippines offered better variety and portions were unlimited.

- Kathleen (8/5): Friendly Staff and Convenient Location, but Breakfast Variety and Service Could Improve - My mom and I were happy to return here during our Boracay trip. The staff were very accommodating and attentive, especially when I requested a ground-floor room since my mom is 76 years old. The hotel is just a 1-minute walk from White Beach, truly a front-beach property as advertised. The only downside is that it’s about a 15-minute walk to D’Mall, but that’s not an issue if you ride an e-tricycle. The variety of breakfast options could be improved, as the selection was quite limited. We had dinner at their restaurant and requested our leftovers to be packed since we barely touched the rice and tinola. The next day, we asked the staff to reheat it for lunch, but after 30 minutes, when we followed up, the staff said he thought we were asking him to throw the food away. They eventually replaced the food after checking with management whether it would be free of charge, but I believe this should be done immediately without waiting for their management approval.

Alle Mitarbeiter waren wirklich Mega nett, man hat sich immer sehr wohl gefühlt! - Die Lage war super - direkter Strandzugang - Frühstück sehr wenig Auswahl - Anlage und Zimmer sehr veraltet und Renovierungsbedürftig - Liegen und Strandbetten wurden den ganzen Tag reserviert, obwohl es heißt dass man nicht reservieren darf, die Leute sind teilweise stundenlang nicht an ihrem Platz - Zugang für nicht Hotelgäste, welche auch Liegen besetzen und es schon zu wenig Liegen für die eigenen Gäste gibt - viele Katzen, die Nachts schreien

- Catherine (7/5): - The location has always been integral to Sur’s success! It’s nicely located on station 1, in the quieter part of Boracay. The staff is also very friendly and good. The doors are quite thin making it easy to hear when other guests are there. Additionally, it feels like the facilities haven’t been really updated since I last stayed here in 2010.

Sur Boracay exemplifies these attrib - Friendly staff, authentic breakfast ( best garlic fried rice) , comfortable, quiet accommodations. The property was a Km or more to D’Mall. I had to walk to D’Mall on the beach, every day and I lost 5 LBS walking. /s

Even the OJTs did an incredible job, they were attentive, polite, and made sure we were comfortable at all times. You can really feel the positive energy from the whole team, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Our stay was extra fun and relaxing because of them. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and that kind of service really stands out. And the food, wow! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the pancakes, they were perfectly cooked, soft, and flavorful. Even the French fries were surprisingly good, crispy, well-seasoned, and super satisfying. Every meal felt like a treat! Overall, everything was awesome, from the staff to the food to the entire experience. We’ll definitely be coming back! Nothing

- Marcell (7/5): Amazing staff, amazing location - A have never met such a friendly staff like we experienced here. They were super polite, kind and helpful. The location is awesome, the hotel is located at the most beautyful part of the beach. Free sunbeds are provided for the hotel guest at the beach. Beach is mich more crowded here, so the water and the enviroment itself is much cleaner and chilled like other parts of the island. Beach bar prices are absolutely competitive. The rooms were outdated, really needs renovation. The bathroom was really stinky. The breakfast selection is very poor unfortunately.

- Ana (5/5): Great location, resort could use some improvements - Location is great and staff is so nice and polite The resort is literally “packed” with buildings, which are built so close to each other and to other hotels around. You have literally 2 rooms with sea view which will probably be booked and you have to go with the “building view”. Facilities could use a bit more maintenance, as everything is a bit worn out. With fully functioning kitchen the breakfast is pretty poor and looks more like some weird lunch.

W większości bardzo miły personel z wyjątkami, ale zdarza się. Ogólnie miejsce do polecenia Byliśmy wcześniej niż godzina zameldowania, i pani z recepcji miała dzwonić jak pokój będzie gotowy. Ale trochę się jej zapomniało.

- KATHRYN SAMANTHA (9/5): Consistently comfortable stay - I liked that the service and amenities in Sur has been consistent over the years that I have stayed with them. The rooms remained simple and functional, very clean and comfortable. The average amenities are greatly improved by the excellent service, staff are always courteous, ready, willing and able to help the guests whenever and however they can. The breakfast buffet choices for dishes are quite limited, there are days when I only ate eggs and one of the dishes available because there are only three available, a fish, a vegetable, and a meat dish. Added variety on the breakfast menu would have been excellent.
- Claire (10/5): 10 out of 10!! - The location was fabulous, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the facilities were amazing. We've never felt so relaxed, sitting in the cabana sipping on cocktails in between dips in the crystal clear ocean. We'll definitely be back! That we had to leave to return home ;)

- Sarai (5/5): Beware moldy rooms and very outdated rooms. I would pass on this "resort". Also not a resort. - The staff was very courteous and accommodating and professional. Staff was excellent ! The rooms and facilities are old and not like the pictures shown at all. Rundown, needs to be updated. And big issues with humidity, and mold. My room had mildew and visible mold on the ceilings and walls.
