- Alagesan (8/5): Enjoyed the stay but last minute disappointment - We liked the view, the record player with different albums, friendly and helpful staff. Mini bar snacks and drinks Clothes steamer The breakfast was as shown in their pictures and was good but on the last day we were given 4 slices of bread with one packet of jam, no knife and butter instead of their Asian choices we had previously. As we left early we did not have the opportunity to feed this back to the hotel. See photos below. No proper table and chairs on the balcony to enjoy breakfast and the views when there is enough space for them.

- Martine (9/5): Jeej! Geen zelf check in! - We hadden hiervoor vooral hotels waar je zelf moest inchecken, waardoor er weinig persoonlijk contact was. En op straat was er ook al weinig contact met mensen. Juist daarom was het hier een zeer welkome ervaring dat er wél personeel aanwezig was bij aankomst. Dat gaf ons echt een warm en gastvrij gevoel en maakte voor ons een groot verschil. De kamer was erg mooi, leuk ingericht en schoon. Daarnaast was er een analoog gastenboek met allerlei leuke materialen om in te schrijven of te tekenen, wat een bijzonder en gezellig detail was. Het stadsuitzicht viel helaas tegen en was minder bijzonder dan we hadden verwacht.

- Alexander Markos (9/5): Well located stay with amazing and helpful staff - Had a comfortable stay here in a very convenient location in Seogwipo. The Cheonjiyeon waterfalls are walkable from the property. The staff here are excellent- extremely helpful, friendly and obliging. The room has a lot of unique elements- vintage decor, LP albums to play, a smart wardrobe that steams/irons your clothes. The view from the balcony was really nice- overlooking the Seogwipo harbour/pier area. The room was very clean, and daily housekeeping was good. The breakfast provided every day was a nice idea- in a cute basket with the requisite cutlery and dishes. They have parking as well- though can be a bit tight sometimes, and you need to be good at parallel parking too. Overall a nice stay- we really liked and appreciated the staff especially. There are a few aspects that could be improved: 1. Our room was ocean facing, but unfortunately was on the lowest floor and overlooked the parking lot as well. Privacy was slightly impacted as a result- people passing by could see into our balcony easily. You should try to ask for rooms on higher floors if available 2. While breakfast was good, some basic elements were missing- such as salt and pepper for the boiled eggs, or sugar for coffee. We would definitely have received these if we had asked though 3. The sink in our bathroom would not drain properly. We asked the gentleman at reception to help us with this and he did very kindly tell us how to solve for it (press the drain down)- but the issue kept recurring throughout our stay 4. The bathroom does get wet when you take a shower- as the dividing wall is not long enough- perhaps they could fit in a door? Overall the stay was very nice, but these few improvements would have made it even better!

- Shu Ing Yelyn (10/5): Thoughtful little details that make for an excellent stay - The amenities in Hotel Yeon are top notch - branded vinyl player, speakers, LG styler (allows you to steam, sanitise and straighten all your clothes while travelling), daily snacks and nespresso coffee - little details that really make the difference in making a stay memorable. Every morning a basket of breakfast is also left outside your door - so thoughtful and lovely! A really nice touch. Staff was very helpful too. Parking can be a bit tight but staff was especially helpful when it came to parking. Room was comfy, good size, bed was comfy, bathroom worked well. No complaints. Great location too. Would highly recommend! I stayed three nights and loved it.

The breakfast was good and delivered to your room every morning . Location is excellent. We stayed in the Southern part of Jeju Island. You do need to drive in order to be able to go places. - Geoffrey (10/5): We loved it! - We loved everything at Hotel Yeon. It had a lot of amazing little touches. For instance, a turntable to play vinyls for music. Breakfast served daily to the room in a little basket. It was lovely to have breakfast in the balcony overlooking the sea. There was an air purifier and a clothes deodorizer which came in useful after a Korean BBQ meal. Snacks, fruit juice and ramyeon were free and replenished daily. For coffee there was Nespresso. Bathroom amenities were of good quality - we note that they were from British luxury brand Molten Brown. One thing that was starkly missing from the room was a TV - but most people don’t watch TV in hotel rooms anyway. Parking was free and the staff were super helpful. Location was also good within walking distance to Cheonjiyeon Falls and Negeori Restaurant. We would have like air conditioning but somehow it couldn’t be turned on low apparently because it was still winter at end-Feb. The lowest temperature was pre-set at 25 degrees.

We stayed here 4 nights and one day I asked for extra coffee as they don’t give you any on ur last day ( very odd I thought ) No said the lady at the front desk . Seriously ? A couple of coffee capsules . Jerry ended up bringing me up two . One shouldn’t have to wheel and feel for two coffee capsules.

Notre chambre était grande, propre, nettoyée tous les jours et il y avait même des petites spécialités de Jeju offertes chaque jour ! Nous avons aussi beaucoup aimé le petit-déjeuner pris tous les matins dans la chambre. En bonus, la vue sur le port est hyper chouette ! Un superbe séjour ! Nous aurions apprécié avoir une lampe de bureau/de chevet.

- Melanie (9/5): Great views & comfortable rooms - View was fantastic, room was comfortable, quiet, spacious and had some really nice extras like the Samsung Airdresser & record player. Staff very friendly and spoke great English. Breakfast was delicious too! No television in room & parking is quite tight. No washing machine facilities.

- Iris (8/5): Lovely stay, central location, beautiful view, modern comfortable room - The view was great, we also realized that one of the famous waterfall was just around the corner (walking distance!) and we could even hear is from our balcony. The room was a good set up, you could see they left room for open suitcases. The balcony had two bar stools only, not very comfortable if you want to enjoy some time in the sun/watch the sunset. There was also a bit of mold in between the tiles in the bathroom. I’d also expect the reception staff to speak a little bit more English, it was doable with Papago/google translate though.
