- Monika (10/5): - Alles sehr sauber Hotel, Zimmer.Bei Anreise vor 14 uhr Check in ,wurden wir am handy benachrichtigt das das Zimmer nun fertig sei,während wir schon am Meer waren . Parkplatz,Wasserflaschen für Pool oder Strand , Liegen und Schirme und Getränke zum Essen inklusive,perfekt. Einzig die Buffet Aufteilung ist nicht gut,sehr eng . Jeder geht Kreuz und quer.Lange Buffets sind besser zum durchgehen als Blöcke.Andere Warmhaltewannen für das Essen wäre praktischer als mit Deckel.Immer auf zu um zu schauen was drinnen ist ,offen schaut schöner aus und geht schneller.Genug Handtücher immer super.

Koji su u restoranu bili kao i momak koji je posluzivao na plazi - taman visok sa bradom) Animateri i program super Plaza je predivna i mogucnost lezaljki i suncobrana Negativno: Hrana je dosta losija od prije par godina - za cijenu koju se plati. Osoblja je dosta koje neprica hrvatski i slabo engleski - nazalost hotel ocito zaposlljava svoj narod sve manje i manje.
- Sofia (10/5): - Nöjd med min vistelse över lag. Fint och rent hotell. Bra frukost. Buffén helt okej, mycket att välja på. Städning varje dag men då var det endast byta handdukar och bädda säng. Poolen ganska liten för så pass många rum. Ofta trångt på e.m. Fint med närhet till stranden. Lugnt område.
- Iva (4/5): - Großes Lob an Marija Stanicic die geholfen hat mit der Buchung. Angekommen wurden wir sehr hochnäßig und besserwisserisch an der Rezeption von Ana empfangen. Sie könnten unser Abendessen gerade nicht einsehen, wir sollten möchten früh kommen wenn der Chef da ist. Von einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte ich Systeme, die funktionieren. Um vom Zimmer zum Restaurant, Schwimmbecken oder Mehr zu kommen stehen 2 Aufzüge die kleiner als 1qm sind zur Verfügung. (Lange Wartezeiten mit Kind) Das Hotel ist komplett überfüllt und laut. Personal mit 900 Gästen seit März ausgebucht. Es herrscht allgemein Chaos und laute Athomsphäre. Die Äußeren Sitzplätze beim Frühstück sind eigentlich immer besetzt . Weitere äußere Sitzplätze nur über Treppen und lange Wege zu erreichen. Überwurf am Bett voller Hundehaare, Dusche an den Fugen verschimmelt und allgemein im rostig und im verbrauchten Zustand. Lob an die Auswahl an Essen und dem Robert F. im Restaurant, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Kinderbecken ist nur über Treppen zu erreichen. Mit Kinderwaagen ist schleppen angesagt. Um den Kinderpool zwischen den Liegestühlen ist es sehr unhygienisch, Haare und Dreck überall. Die Außenanlage bedarf allgemein mehr Personal. Wir würden nicht mehr wieder kommen. Allgemein nicht mehr als 4 Sterne (Bewertung) wert.
- Danny (8/5): - Ett stort hotell med väldigt bra läge. Fint rum men en del saker drog ner betyget. Väldigt dålig städning av rummet. Vi var där 5 nätter och de bytte aldrig sänglakan och dammsög aldrig golven. AC luktade otrevligt så den hade vi bara igång när vi var tvungna. Servicen med handdukar till poolen och stranden var väldigt bra. På frukosten fanns det mycket att välja på, vi saknade bara mer färsk frukt och lite nyttigare alternativ. Tänk på att där är mycket trappor och ibland längre väntan på hissarna.

- Irene (10/5): Empfehlenswert für 3 Tage oder mit Auto - Sehr schön gelegenes, grosses Hotel mit direkter Strandlage und gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Viele Pauschalreisende, die organisierte Ausflüge machen. Das Buffet ist durchschnittlich und eher für deutsche Touristen. Das kleine Dörfchen mit Hafen hat man in 2 Tagen gesehen.
- Alice (8/5): Sensationelle Hotelanlage - Das Hotel ist wunderbar und super schön! Der Aufpreis mit HP winzig klein und das inkl Getränke. Die schönste Dinner Terrasse ever!! Leider waren auf jeder Position Anfänger da Saisonbeginn war. Das Personal gab sich Mühe- hatten aber ausnahmslos alle Mühe bei ihrem Job. Zb konnte mein Drink nicht präpariert werden und es dauerte ca 20min für Ersatzdrink, wir wollten verlängern 1 Nacht- es konnte uns kein Zimmer gefunden werden, beim Nachtessen wurde der Tisch leergeräumt während Nachschub holen trotz vollen Gläser, viel zu grosse Omelette, etc, Aber ein Hotel das ich unbedingt weiter empfehle und sicher wieder besuche- schlicht eine TOP Adresse!
- Jürgen (10/5): - Wir waren das zweite Mal im Medora Auri und waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Die Meerseite bietet einen phantastischen Blick auf das Umfeld. Sehr gutes Essen, freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen. Einziges Manko ist, daß kaum Geschäfte und Lokale etc. im Ort in der Nachsaison geöffnet haben. Immer wieder gern.

- Petra (6/5): - Hotelanlage: Schöner Strand und schöne Anlage. Allerdings hat uns der Pool nicht gefallen. Waren nicht 1 x drinnen. Es ist ein modern eingerichtetes Hotel. Der Kinderpool nicht überdacht. In unserer Zeit war es sehr stürmisch, sodass am Strand und am Pool keine Schirme aufgestellt worden konnten. Also Sonnenbrand vorprogrammiert. Restaurant: Wir waren am ersten Abend geschockt. Durch viele Urlaube haben wir eine Möglichkeit zu vergleichen. Es war sehr laut, und zu anderen Zeiten kein Unterschied. Das "Restaurant" gleicht einer Halle mit vielen Tischen. Nicht gemütlich, wo man sich zum Essen gern zurück zieht. Einzige Möglichkeit: 1 Terasse und 2 Balkone. Die 2 Balkone waren super. Allerdings nur ca. 8 Tische jeweils. Die Terasse geht gar nicht. Weil: Abends zu dunkel. Kaum beleuchtet und man hat das Essen auf dem Teller nicht mehr gesehen. Hier kann man mit mehr Lichterketten (gab es auf der schönen Promenade) mehr Licht erzeugen. Zum Frühstück saß man direkt in der Sonne. Ein einziger Schirm in der Mitte hat den gesamten Rand nicht abgedeckt. Wellnessbereich: 1 Sauna, 1 Whirlpool, Massage gegen Aufpreis möglich (sehr zu empfehlen), 1 Dampfbad Der gesamte Wellnessbereich war nicht einladend. An der Tür stand "nur Erwachsene". Es tobten Kinder im Whirlpool. Ein Ruhebereich war es nicht, was zu einem Wellnessbereich dazu gehört. Das Dampfbad war viel zu heiß. Fazit: Ein auf Familien (eher Kleinkinder) ausgerichtetes Hotel. Wir kommen nicht wieder. Aber in die Gegend schon.

Det eneste at sætte fingeren på er at personale under måltiderne fjerner service alt for hurtigt inden man er helt færdig med at spise. Det gør også at der var en del støj og larm. Håber at de finder en bedre måde at være effektive på. Ellers super god ophold og strand og vand til 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Sari (10/5): - Uusittu ja siisti hotelli aivan meren rannalla upeilla näkymillä pienessä ja rauhallisessa Podgoran kylässä, palvelu hotellissa oli erinomaista. Hotellin aamiainen ja päivällinen oli runsas, ja vaihtelua oli sopivasti. Tähän hotelliin voisimme mennä uudestaan.

Det er for få og for små heiser på hotellet. Heisene er i tillegg treige til å åpne seg og går senere enn de fleste heiser mellom etasjene.

A la réception, ils sont très réactifs et à l écoute, mais le service ne suit pas. La nourriture est bonne et variée. La piscine petite et bruyante.le matelas à la plage de l hotel est payant!. Évitez les chambre à l étage 7 sous le restaurant, très bruyante des 6h00 du matin et jusqu a 23H00. Le gros plus de cet hotel, est sa vue fantastique et le pratique de l hotel. Emplacement très agréable. Wifi gratuit dans tout l hotel même sur la plage.

Praktisk med tenåringsbarn på tur. Gode senger, rent og pent. Vi møtte bare hyggelige ansatte. Rett ved stranden med mengder av aktiviteter å velge blant. Vi prøvde middagsbuffeten 2 ganger, men det sto ikke helt til forventningene. Ellers ingen ting å klage på.

We only had B and B but breakfast was 5 star. rooms were lovely and well equipped and all areas of the hotel were modern and clean. Only downside was the pool too small and crowded. Children’s pool below was hardly used as too shallow. This was a huge space and completely wasted in my opinion as the majority of children used the adult pool?

Sehr gut auch für kleinere Kinder da ein großer Kinderpool (30-50cm Tiefe) vorhanden ist. Strand ist landestypisch mit Kieselsteinen, das Wasser ist super sauber.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel but disappointing stay - Good points: The hotel is in a great location. Close to bars and restaurants. Lovely spa Plenty of choice at breakfast Rooms basic but clean Lady who deals with tours in the hotel was excellent. She really went out of her way to get us a jeep tour as it was end of Season and we were limited on what we could do and see. Bad points: Restaurant staff could hardly raise a smile and they were very slow in clearing tables at breakfast The pool is nice but the sun beds don’t have any parasols so no real shade! The hotel has sun beds on the beach but YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM! 60 Kuna per person per day which is approx £7 (depending on your exchange rate) you do get a cocktail in with that but I think it’s still expensive if you don’t want a cocktail! Also if you want a parasol it is a further 35 Kuna!
- titouan (8/5): Serait un 4* avec de meilleurs employé + peinture - Problème de service. En fait c'est très inégal selon le personnel de l'hôtel. Nous avons été réceptionné à l'arrivée par deux personnes pas forcément super aimable. Petit soucis de nettoyage dans la chambre deux lits simple au lieu du lit double demande.. Pas de peignoirs ou de chausson alors que c'était indiqué. Heurelent la manager d e l'hôtel qui est très aimable à corrigé une bonne partie de ces points avec le sourire et elle parlait français. Sinon bon hôtel avec deux jolies piscines et un spz sympathique. Pour le petit déjeuner vraiment pas mal. Après la demi pension on a pas été de grands fan pas génial génial la qualité. Mais vu le coût fallait s'y attendre. Les cocktails au bar indigo sont bons et pas trop allégés. Le restorant en bas de l'hôtel est quand à lui particulièrement insipide... Pas cher mais vraiment pas bon... Fausse salade Caesar et burgueur et salade pas bonne...
- nicole (10/5): Fantastic - The Medora Auri in Podgora is in a fantastic location! The hospitality team can help you with anything you need - excursions or renting a car - and I found that booking these things directly with the hotel was better value for money but equally fantastic service. Renting a car was super easy, the car was brought to the hotel and picked up from there also so no faffing or inconvenience. Also, excursions and trips were arranged brilliantly, picked up and dropped off at the hotel doors. The main town, Makarska is very close and easy to get to (10 minute taxi/bus ride but can also be reached with a nice stroll along the promenade) and has all the main links to boat trips to the islands, day trips to Krka National Park or Dubrovnik etc. Both Podgora and Makarska have wonderful communities that made my holiday fantastic. The restaurants and supermarkets were also great, plenty of choice and multiple options for children etc. Hotel food was great, buffet style with almost anything you could want. I was very impressed with the hotel’s consideration for guests with food allergies - such as myself. Everything is picture labelled clearly with allergens and they have a “gluten free corner” and also many options for dairy allergies etc. I had expected to do as I always do in holiday and take a guess and hope for the best but was very very pleased to have had the luxury of knowing what I could eat! Stunning beach also, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

- Gabriele (10/5): Wunderschönes Hotel - Das Hotel ist erst ein paar Jahre alt. Deshalb ist noch alles neu und unverbraucht. Die Rezeption liegt auf Straßenniveau, befindet sich aber im 10. Stock des Hotels. Das Hotel wurde von der Straße aus gesehen am Felsen bis zur Strandpromenade hinuntergebaut. Dadurch haben die Zimmer überall Meerblick. Man blickt von den Balkonen aus gen Westen und genießt so jeden Abend einen atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergang. Das Essen im Hotel lässt keine Wünsche offen. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Es gibt sogar eine Ecke mit glutenfreiem Essen und für Laktoseintolerante steht morgens Mandelmilch zur Verfügung. Das Fleisch war stets gut gewürzt und sehr zart. Das Nachtischbuffet ließ ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Die Zimmer waren gemütlich und ansprechend eingerichtet. Vom Hotel gab es vor Reiseantritt eine Willkommens-E-Mail mit der Frage nach Sonderwünschen, die auch nach Möglichkeit Berücksichtigung fanden. Das Publikum war gemischt, bestand aber vorwiegend aus Familien und älteren Paaren. Es ist kein Partyhotel, sondern geeignet für Menschen, die Erholung suchen. Ab Mitternacht war auch draußen Ruhe, so dass man bei Bedarf durchaus gut bei geöffneter Balkontür schlafen konnte. Der Strand ist sauber und das Wasser klar wie Leitungswasser. Da es sich um einen Kiesstrand handelt, ist es jedoch empfehlenswert, sich Schwimmschuhe zu kaufen. Dies stellt kein Problem dar, da sich in der Nachbarschaft ein Kiosk befindet, der sie für ca. 7 Euro verkauft.

Staff really could not have done more to make our stay memorable especially Dragana so a special thanks to her! we will certainly be back!

- Natalia (10/5): Absolute pearl of Croatia - The hotel is in the beautiful clean Podgora. This hotel offers everything anyone cab wish for: whether you are a family with children, adults, or seniors. The food was absolutely delicious, stretching, yoga and aqua aerobics with Ivan and Roman great. Our 4 year old Audrey couldn't wait to go to Kids Club. It was truly amazing as Antea treated children as little adults but also played with them a little. Simply a great vacation! We'll be back!

- Graham (6/5): Great location but not suitable for our family - Podgora is a beautiful little coastal town and the Medora Auri Resort is in a great location at one end of the main promenade. However we were disappointed with the hotel itself and cut our 7-night booking short after two nights. We did visit in early July when the hotel was fully occupied but found the public spaces just not big enough to cope with the number of guests. The pool and restaurant were so overcrowded that neither were enjoyable. Our family room with ocean view was right above the beachfront bar which played live music until late - not suitable for our young family. The staff did try to help solve our issues which we appreciated but even that didn't make us want to stay as we just didn't feel like it was the right place for a relaxing holiday.
- susan (8/5): Modern clean hotel, newly rennovated. Great beach - Beautiful beach at the hotel. Clean modern room but walls are very thin so can hear the people next door. There's only elevator in the main building. my room was facing the sea view so can watch the beautiful sunset. Nice air conditioned rooms but no hot water so had to take cold showers. Great restaurants within walking distance. Takes two hours drive from split airport but the beach at the hotel was worth it! Excellent breakfast selection.
- Marko (8/5): Nice location on the beach - Ok hotel, but I suggest that you stay in the main building and not so called pavilion, which is detached from the main building. During our stay the wifi was not working at all.
- Ana-Marie (10/5): Lovely new beach hotel - Lovely stay at the newly refurbished beachfront hotel. A few teething problems given its a new hotel but all fixed promptly as with a smile. Views fab and rooms well designed. Podgora is a lovely spot for a holiday. Pools great too!
