  Each suite is luxuriously decorated and features a full private bathroom as well an outdoor shower. There is a stocked mini-bar in each room. • Luxury Family Villa - Superior

  The family suites have an open plan living area and an en suite master bedroom. The children's bedroom leads off the living room and can be accessed through an interleading door or its own entrance. The children’s bedroom is also en suite and is equipped with a flat-screen TV, selection of movies and a Wii game console. Each family suite has a private outside deck and a large, heated swimming pool. The maximum occupancy is 4 guests including children.

• Richard (10/5): Karula is a first class experience from top to bottom. The amount of luxury is almost too much. - The whole Karula experience is not to be believed. It is a first class place all around. The rooms are enormous, the meals are great, and every possible need is taken care of. As a bonus, our guide Priscilla and tracker Suggest were incredible. There was nothing not to like.
• Alpinechick (9/5): A beautiful property, but one experience significantly impacted our stay - This was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed. The setting in the bush is breathtaking, and the rooms are luxurious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable — having a private pool was a real highlight. The restaurants and lounge areas are tastefully decorated and create a wonderful atmosphere throughout the property. The staff were outstanding. A special shout‑out to Advice, Sindele, Elvis and Desire for their warmth, professionalism, and the way they consistently went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their care made the experience truly memorable. The food and snacks were creative, delicious, and of consistently high quality and the wine and drinks selection was impressive. I would have given this property a 10, but one issue unfortunately marred the entire experience. During our two‑night stay, both of us fell ill and ended up missing meals and game drives. When we raised this with the manager in person, the reaction was disappointing — there was no real acknowledgment, concern, or empathy. We asked whether they could investigate the possibility of food contamination, but the response was limited to a vague “we’ll look into that,” with no follow‑up. For a property of this calibre, the lack of customer care in a situation like this was surprising. Senior staff should be trained to handle guest concerns professionally and with genuine attention. Instead, we were left feeling as though raising the issue was unwelcome and that the assumption was that it couldn’t possibly be on their side. It left a bitter aftertaste, which is unfortunate given the high cost and otherwise excellent aspects of the stay. The message we walked away with was: enjoy the property, but don’t complain or expect your concerns to be taken seriously.

As refeições excelentes, bem como as bebidas incluídas nas diárias! A localização- muito perto do aeroporto facilita a logística… o transfer oferecido pelo hotel já é um game (estrada dentro do parque e já é possível avistar animais). Nosso ranger Mike nos levou aos lugares certos para ver e observar os animais! Nada! Tudo perfeito!

• Brian (10/5): Don’t hesitate- book here. It’s amazing. - This property is incredible! The rooms were stunning and so large. I had no idea how amazing the safari rides would be- Justice and Elvis did such an amazing job at making us feel safe and finding/getting up close to the big 5. The service is impeccable- Tinyiko our server was so kind and we felt so cared for. I wasn’t expecting much for the food- due to it being all inclusive- but it was absolutely amazing quality, ingredients and preparation. They were doing some construction on the property during the day and it was a little bit noisy at times. It wasn’t horrible, but when your out in the bush you want to just hear nature.

Made to feel very special, all the staff knew our names from the moment we arrived. Justice and Elvis were the best of hosts on the game drives.

Compramos sistema all inclusive mas nem imaginamos os pratos serem escolhidos e parecia feito por chefs, o menu mudava todo dia porém podia pedir o que quisesse que faziam, sobre instalações tudo perfeito, limpo, organizado e pessoal super cordial, simpáticos e prestativos !!! Nota 11 para o Safari e os 2 que dirigia e acompanhava pois fizeram tudo para que tivéssemos a melhor experiência e tivemos !!!!

• Stefanos (10/5): We'd Definitely Come Back! - Exceptional modern/contemporary Villas (a welcome relief from the traditional!) with great space, views and amenities. Fantastic game viewing! Staff were generally very attentive and polite, and the game-drive ranger & tracker were exceptional! Contemporary “high-quality” meals & interesting menu options, from a knowledgeable chef, with generally particularly good quality of produce and preparation, and with high regard by the staff on any individual food requests. An exception was the traditional 'boma' night, when compared to other similar or even lower rated/priced lodges, with tough "over-sauced/marinated" lamb chops, and an inconsistency in the Eland loin (pieces were either tender (just right), or inedible, tough and chewy). We were also surprised by the absence of traditional stews we have become accustomed to on such evenings, e.g. oxtail, lamb & beef stew, etc. Also, the prawns offered on one of the evenings were pasty & soft. Last observation we'd like to share, was the lack/inconsistency of the “little things” of such an up-market lodge; specifically: Morning game drives - the absence of, [1] food selection (not even fruit or some porridge, muffins, etc) before the early-morning game drives, [2] napkins and cutlery with which to cut the croissants (the only item offered 3 days in a row) in order to fill with the offered grated cheese, and [3] the absence juices or water, other than coffee. Game drive snacks were also boring and repetitive.

• hina (10/5): Outstanding in every way - One of the finest resorts I have stayed at in Africa. Luxury factor was a ten on ten. The service was impeccable, spa services outstanding. The food was high end and gourmet qaulity, albeit a little limited choice wise. There are 12 individual bungalow style residences, each beautifully decorated and with every possible luxury amenity. Plan on spending a lot of time in your own individual space. Each and every person on the property provided outstanding service, so much so that I felt like rewarding every individual for service above and beyond what was expected. Safety and security was excellent, organisation as well as execution of all activities spot on. Highly recommended for a couple looking for luxury and impeccable service

• Verified traveler (10/5): Exceptional safari experience! - Kapama Karula exceeded our expectations in a significant way! The photos online do not do justice to the beautiful rooms, common areas and safari experience. My husband and I stayed there last week for our honeymoon and were truly amazed at the quality of service, the cleanliness and especially the food. The food quality was 5 star + and we were very impressed with the range of choices for the meals. Aside from the accommodations, the safari drives were fantastic. We always had the same ranger and spotter (always the two of them) and they did an excellent job at explaining the different animals and their behaviors. We saw lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, nyalas, buffalo, elephants and birds. Overall, it was a dream come true and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exciting and luxurious safari getaway.
