• Vicary (10/5): The most amazing place for a safari. It far exceeded our high expectations! - We stayed at Kapama River Lodge, in a Tamboti suite for 9 nights in May 2026 for our 30 year wedding anniversary. Our expectations were high as this is not a cheap place to stay. We were definitely not disappointed but amazed that it could be so good. Being met at Hoedspruit airport in an open safari vehicle and being able to see Buffalo and Giraffe on the short drive through the reserve to our lodge was unexpected. The River Lodge was immaculately clean in all areas, the staff very friendly and helpful, our suite spacious and peaceful, delicious food, a wonderful selection of wines and other drinks (all included). The best part was the morning and evening game drives. The vehicles are completely open making viewing and photography easy. Despite being so open we always felt safe. Our guides were ‘magicians’ in the way that they could find animals, including a very rare Pangolin and Lion cubs not previously seen by anyone. We especially liked their extensive knowledge, respect for the animals and the environment. In short, if you want to go on safari in Africa go to Kapama but stay a week to fully enjoy the experience. These are just a few of the pictures we took. Nothing. It was amazing.

A huge thanks to our amazing driver Hlulane and tracker Belief who ensured we maximised all our sightings across our 3 day trip and were so knowledgeable and informative. The hotel and food were both amazing (the boma night was a particular highlight!). Our room was beautiful and we were lucky enough to encounter elephants and giraffes passing by. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a true safari experience. Attention to detail made everything seamless and we would love to return one day. Nothing!

Saw leopard every day Our ranger wasn’t there to collect us at the airport so it wasn’t very welcoming . Our experience with them was magical because of them going the extra mile to find the big 5 and then some! Cannot recommend this lodge enough. The rooms are spacious and well crafted, shower and tub feel absolutely luxurious. Staff went above and beyond when my husband arrived with tummy trouble from our travels to Cape Town prior. Excellent food and service. Pools, spa, gym are all worth getting use out of! Be prepared for little bugs in the room, you’re in nature.

The sightings were frequent and up close, and the knowledge and passion of the rangers and trackers made each drive both thrilling and educational. The level of hospitality was world-class, personal, thoughtful, and seamless from start to finish. The lodge itself is stunning. • Federica (10/5): Una delle esperienze più belle della nostra vita - Tutto, è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile. La struttura è pulitissima e bellissima, tutto lo staff è estremamente gentile, cordiale e qualificato, ogni giorno si esce a fare due safari di circa tre ore ciascuno, con le nostre guide Michael e Witness siamo riusciti a vedere i big five e tanti altri animali. Il cibo è di alta qualità, ho provato anche la spa della struttura e mi è stato fatto uno dei massaggi più belli e rilassanti di sempre. Credetemi, quando si entra al Kapama si entra in un mondo a parte fatto veramente di bellezza autentica, relax, gentilezza, cordialità e organizzazione impeccabile.

• Guilherme (10/5): Uma experiência inesquecível - Tudo. A experiência é incrível, não é um preço barato, mas o hotel entrega tudo e um pouco mais. Os atendimentos, os passeios, a estrutura, o staff, as refeições. Tudo é perfeito. Vale o “investimento” e a experiência de ter dias maravilhosos neste lugar incrível. Impossível falar de algo ruim

• Gabriel (10/5): - Everything was absolutely perfect — worth every single penny. The all-inclusive food was delicious. The safari, with the trackers and drivers, was perfect. And the room was so comfortable. I miss the experience every single day.

• Gizele (10/5): - Kapama River Lodge is simply incredible. The best accommodation I've ever stayed in. Everything was amazing, from the beautiful structure to the food and staff. All meals are à la carte and of the highest quality. There are many drinks of various types included in the all-inclusive system, and no surprise charges. All the staff provide impeccable service, with a dedicated waiter assigned to you throughout your stay, who remembers your tastes and preferences as early as the second day. The safaris were incredible. Our ranger, Katt, didn't rest until he found all of the Big Five with us. He is simply wonderful, very attentive and dedicated to his job. Absolutely nothing to complain about, just to point out that the daily rate is considerably high, but if you can afford it, it's accommodation that's really worth it.

• Fellipe (10/5): perfeita - Tudo impecável, muitos lugares de luxo no mundo nao chegam nem perto dessa hospedagem, muito menos por esse preco. Foi o primeiro all inclusive que eu recomendo. academia, ela nao corresponde ao nível do hotel, fora que entre os Safaris a pessoa tem muito tempo livre.

• elizabeth (10/5): - A beautiful lodge in a perfect location close to Hoedspruit airport with around a 15 minute drive to the lodge. We saw elephants, zebras, a rhino, a giraffe and 3 lions on the drive in! The dining experience was amazing with a different menu daily and staff addressed me by name, and the included 2 games drives per day were guided by an excellent guide and tracker, we saw all the ‘Big 5’ plus many more. Nothing. Kapama River lodge have thought of everything.
• Edson (10/5): Esplendido! visualmente impressionante. - Experiencia fabulosa. E desde a chegada , o safari , as refeiços foram impecavies. A reserva é muito bem estruturada, com programação definida o que faz com que se programe para participar delas. A dedicaçao dos funcionários para atender suas expectativas em todas as atividades superaram o que imaginávamos. Tivemos experiencias unicas. esta pergunta não se aplica para o Kapama, lá buscam a excelencia!
