• Maria Morell (4/5): Desværre lidt skuffende - Morgenmaden var fin og tagterrassen Desværre trænger hotellet virkelig til en kærlig hånd. Om morgenen kl 09 skulle vi gå ned i receptionen da de ikke havde åbnet for den varme vand endnu. Generelt lever stedet desværre ikke op til billederne. Der er potentiale, hvis hotellets stand, rengøring og service optimeres lidt.

• Karine (9/5): Grande et belle chambre au milieu de la végétation, accueil très attentionné et chaleureux ! - Séjour de 4 nuits au Riad Zaouia 44. Nous avions une belle et grande chambre au rez-de-chaussée, donnant sur le jardin et le bassin. La décoration de la chambre et de la salle de bain est typique et traditionnelle. On est vraiment plongé dans l'ambiance marocaine. Le Riad est au calme et bien situé pour visiter la médina : nous avons tout fait à pieds. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de rentrer en fin de journée, après l'agitation de la médina, et nous retrouver au calme au milieu de la végétation et des chants d'oiseaux. Un thé à la menthe est gentiment proposé : il est possible de le prendre sur le très beau toit-terrasse pour assister au coucher du soleil. Chaque matin, nous avons pris notre petit déjeuner dehors sous les arcades avec de très bons produits frais : confitures variées, crêpes (faites maison et différentes chaque jour !), oeufs, fruits, pain... Nous avons vraiment passé un excellent séjour et nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir ! L'accueil de Youssef et Hisham a été exceptionnel de gentillesse ! Un très grand merci à tous les deux !

• Peter (9/5): Fantastische locatie om Marrakesh een keer echt mee te maken in het midden van de Medina. - De rust die je krijgt als je binnen bent, het ligt midden in de medina maar daar merk je niets van als je binnenkomt. Daarnaast zijn Youssef en Islam twee perfecte gastheren die ons verblijf onvergetelijk hebben gemaakt. Wat een service, niks was te gek alles kon geregeld worden echt op en top! Je mist op sommige moment wel even een zwembad in de zon waar je even kan afschakelen. Er is wel een zwembad maar die is in de patio en ligt constant in de schaduw

Marrokaans brood, op verzoek msemen, lekker eitje! Gewoon goed! De riad is midden in de medina, lekker centraal en veel bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Youssef en Isham zorgden voor een prettig verblijf. Een gezellig praatje, en er werden tips gegeven wat er in de omgeving te doen is . Shukran!

The information provided was also very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. In one morning we couldn’t have breakfast due to an early trip. Hicham and Youssef organized us something for the go. In late evening the shower seemed to have limited hot water, especially when four of us had to take one by one.

• Mehmet Emre (8/5): Very clean, exceptional staff! - Very clean, breakfast is perfect, you can book transfer (to city center or for daily tour too) from the Riad. Youssef and Hicham two great gentlemen who are super friendly and highly supportive and also can solve any need/problem you have. Thank you guys! Neighbourhood is not the best but I assume average for Marrakech. Anyway when you enter the door of the Riad, you forget it.

Felt li - The location is amazing, very easy to get taxis or even walk to the souks! Our AC made a strange sound and seemed a bit dusty, however it wasn’t too hot so we didn’t need to use it.

Un immense merci à Hicham pour son accueil chaleureux et son professionnalisme, il a vraiment contribué à rendre notre expérience encore plus agréable. Tout était parfait : les chambres étaient confortables et très propres, le petit déjeuner délicieux et varié, et l’emplacement idéal avec un accès facile à la médina. La chambre était mal isolée, lors de notre séjour il a plu pendant 3 jours (sur 5), l'eau s'infiltrait continuellement par les fenêtres la chambre était inondée, pas de solution si ce n'est de multiplier les serviettes éponges à notre demande, pas de relogement, pas de geste commerciale, ils sont gentils mais à ce prix là ce n'est pas acceptable, nous avons introduit une réclamation pour être dédommagées. Les murs extérieurs étaient défraichis, le coup d'œil est loin d'être comme sur les photos qui date de la rénovation en 2018. C'est une déception.
• Katy (10/5): We LOVED our stay here, the staff were fantastic, breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the courtyard stunning. - The calm of the courtyard and the consistent warm welcome back made it feel very personal and welcomed after the hustle and bustle of the medina. Salim was fantastic. He made such an effort with our children, even finding a football to play with them. You should be prepared that the property is very close to the speakers for call to prayer so I suggest taking ear plugs if you are sensitive to an early wake up call.

Personeel is heel vriendelijk maar niet altijd effectief behulpzaam: waterproblemen werden niet opgelost, kinderbedje werd ondanks vraag niet geplaatst tegen 's avonds, we konden eindafrekening niet met de kaart betalen. Op zich kleine dingen maar die het verblijf wel minder aangenaam maakten en niet in verhouding staan met de prijs die betaald wordt. Locatie ook niet super.

Consiglio il servizio taxi dall’aeroporto al Riad offerto dalla struttura perché la prima volta non è semplice da trovare. Il ragazzo del Riad ci ha fornito anche un audio via whatsapp in arabo da far ascoltare a eventuali taxisti qualora ci fossimo spostate in taxi. Abbiamo preso il taxi solo una volta per andare nella parte nuova di Marrakesh, per il resto eravamo 4 amiche e ci siamo sempre spostate a piedi verso la Medina. —

Youssef et Hicham font toujours le maximum pour satisfaire les demandes des clients. Petits-déjeuners très bons et copieux. Les photos du riad du site ou sur booking ne correspondent plus à l'état actuel de celui-ci ! le riad est dans un état de délabrement depuis plusieurs années (murs et sols fissurés, humidité partout, dégradation des murs lors de pluie sur notre patio ...). on voit qu'il n'est plus entretenu bien que le personnel fasse de son mieux pour le rendre propre. Dans la suite petit patio que nous occupions la climatisation / chauffage était HS alors que le manager nous avait dit qu'une personne devait intervenir (jamais vu), de l'eau chaude une fois sur deux, des pièces humides, un patio qui se dégrade ... Pour terminer, la situation géographique n'est pas si bonne car il faut marcher 25 mn pour arriver à la place Jeema el-fna et la première partie de la route est dangereuse (pas de trottoirs et du passage fréquent ...). Nous sommes des habitués de Marrakech et c'est la première fois que nous laissons un avis négatif sur un riad !

• Paola (7/5): Bon séjour ! - L’accueil et la gentillesse de l’équipe est vraiment formidable. Youssef et Icham sont vraiment disponibles, à l’écoute et aux petits soins. La décoration du lieu est très belle. Le Riad est accessible par voiture ce qui est un vrai plus. Le lieu est très beau, mais il mériterait un rafraîchissement extérieur et intérieur. La chambre n’est pas insonorisée. Un peu plus d’attention ou de renouvellement sur les équipements serait apprécié (qualité des serviettes de bains, pas de pantoufles, tapis troué dans la chambre).
• Mario (10/5): Amazing - The Riad is beautiful and our room was great. We had a family room and we had more than enough space for the four of us. Youssef and Hicham and the whole team went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. The Riad is a short walk to the soukh and Youssef recommended us some beautiful places. We also had nice weather, so we could enjoy the rooftop terrace and drink lots of Moroccan tea. Thank you so much! Nothing could have been better.

• Tiffany (7/5): Good location, Dark dingy rooms All day - Fantastic location and staff are so kind, Youssef & Hicham were so nice, friendly and sent a lot of useful info and were very accommodating, they made the booking worthwhile The rooms are large but our room was so dark and dingy even on the sunniest days we had to have all the lights on but still looked like it was evening in the rooms. The rooms need modernisation and the main areas needed a revamp
• Laurianne (5/5): - La propreté de l établissement, le prix qui n est pas excessif. L efficacité et la gentillesse du personnel. Il était mentionné dans la description de la chambre que celle ci était pour 3 personnes. Hors, notre adolescente de 16 ans a dû dormir sur une fine banquette, qui n était pas un vrai lit et qui ne possédait pas de rideaux occultants ou de volets. De plus, nous avions choisi ce Riad car il était noté « 2 grands lits doubles » alors que nous avons trouvé 2 lits simples. L eau chaude était inexistante. Ce fut une déception. Toutefois, les femmes de ménage font un travail impeccable et les 2 jeunes hommes, dont Youssef, sont très adéquats et serviables. Merci à eux pour leur gentillesse. Le Riad est difficile à trouver. Quelques panneaux l indiquant auraient été souhaités. Surtout un au dessus de la porte d entrée.
• Lisa (10/5): Empfehlung :) - Riad: schöner Innenhof (im Sommer mit Pool) und schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten. Man kommt durch eine total unscheinbare kleine Tür in einen großzügigen Hof, toll :) Wir haben auch das Hammam gebucht, die Dame war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten etwas Pech mit dem Wetter und so konnten wir uns schön aufwärmen und entspannen. Man bekommt dafür alles gestellt was man braucht und wir konnten sehr flexibel buchen! Die Lage: man kann die gesamte Medina zu Fuß erkunden, bewachter Parkplatz (5€/d) um die Ecke, Ruhe im Riad abseits des Trubels (man hört nur die Katzen und die Moschee), Restaurants und kleine Läden in der Nähe Frühstück: frisches Obst und Saft, Abwechslung, man bekommt Nachschlag aber es ist von allem genug Zimmer: groß und sehr geschmackvoll (noch schöner als auf den Bildern), sauber, jeden Tag frische Handtücher Personal: Alle sind sehr freundlich. Hicham und Youssef haben uns empfangen als gehören wir zur Familie, sind immer erreichbar und tun alles, damit der Aufenthalt perfekt wird! Man freut sich abends zurückzukommen. Wir würden wieder herkommen :) Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!
• cees (9/5): Hele leuke en gezellige tijd gehad. - De gastvrijheid was heel erg prettig en gezellig. We voelden ons meteen thuis. Hi en Youssef zijn 2 fantastische en leuke gastheren. Het eten was overheerlijk. Zowel ontbijt als diner. Wij hadden de familiekamer en deze was heel ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Enige wat tegenviel is dat het 2 persoons bed slecht was. Er zat een enorme kuil in.

• Fabiola (8/5): Un’oasi di tranquillità in perfetto stile marocchino - Abbiamo soggiornato qui a Febbraio e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La camera era un po’ umida, ma lo staff è stato subito disponibile portandoci delle stufe e venendo incontro alle nostre esigenze. A parte questo la stanza era molto carina, con un bellissimo patio privato. La colazione è abbondante e viene servita nel cortile immerso nel verde, in un’atmosfera davvero rilassante. La posizione è ottima, lontana dal caos della Medina ma vicina alla piazza dove si possono prendere i taxi e raggiungere il centro in soli 5 minuti. Siamo stati trattati benissimo: Youssef e Hicham sono sempre stati gentili, disponibili e attenti, chiedendoci sempre se avessimo bisogno di qualcosa. Hicham ci ha anche spiegato la mappa della città e dato ottimi consigli. Un bel soggiorno rilassante in un autentico Riad marocchino, consigliato! La stanza un po’ umida

Obsługa skontaktowała się z nami błyskawicznie i była bardzo pomocna i przemiła. Śniadania były smaczne, na słodko, ale jak poprosiliśmy o sałatki, jajka też nie było problemu. Bardzo ładny dziedziniec, zielono, na drzewkach mandarynki i śpiewające ptaki. Apartament duży, wygodny, ogrzewany i czysty, sprzątany codziennie. Brakowało górnego oświetlenia, za ciemno, żeby np. czytać książkę. W pierwszym dniu była zimna woda, ale potem już było wszystko ok.

Oltre alla pulizia, la posizione e la bellezza della struttura e della nostra suite, sono proprio loro che hanno reso il viaggio un piacere, riempiendoci di attenzioni e consigli ogni volta che tornavamo dalla città. Ad esempio Youssef ci ha fornito un messaggio vocale da far ascoltare ai tassisti, così che potessero lasciarci davanti il Riad. Questo è uno dei tanti vantaggi del Riad, cosa molto rara per le altre strutture nella Medina. Per quanto riguarda i servizi, la colazione è superlativa e si può scegliere di farla dentro o fuori nel giardino. Ci sono inoltre molte zone relax, compreso un rooftop dove si può prendere il sole e dove i ragazzi sono subito pronti a chiedere se possono offrire un ottimo the. La cena che offre il Riad è ottima, la tajine di pollo è la migliore che abbiamo mangiato. Inoltre essendo il compleanno della mia fidanzata, la stanza per la cena è stata preparata in modo molto carina con il camino acceso. Abbiamo provato anche l’hammam, che si può fare in una stanza ad esso dedicata, senza quindi dover uscire dal Riad e potendolo anche fare in coppia, esperienza tipica che consiglierei di provare. In conclusione non posso che raccomandare vivamente questa struttura per il vostro viaggio a Marrakech.

The area is very lively, and if you want to experience a different side of Marrakech, this neighborhood is perfect. We never felt unsafe at any time. The riad is beautiful, and we would love to come back again in the summer. Top Transfer too the airport!! Just 8 Minutes too walk to the souks😍 Raum war kalt. Ansonsten alles top!!

Excellent one to one care whilst in-house. - Youssef who took care of me - making it feel like home away from home was the best part of this stay. My room was absolutely perfect and the Riad itself felt like a gem in a haystack after finding it. The pre-booked driver didn't arrive to pick me up at the airport after 40hrs of travel time. Also, more information on cost average of drivers upfront - that Uber in fact is an excellent (non-cash only) service. I wasted a lot of unnecessary time and cash on the unknown of local transport. This is something the property could be more informative about.

La cour du Riad est très jolie, le toit également et la piscine permet de se rafraîchir dans la journée. Le Riad est accessible en taxi même s’il est dans les petites ruelles. Quelques points à améliorer : les rideaux de la chambre qui sont à remettre à neuf ; il n’y avait pas de grand miroir ; la chambre manque de lumière ; la vaisselle au petit dej qui était cassé donc à remettre à jour.

• Ana Cristina Toledo (9/5): - Eu gostei muito da receptividade do Riad, quando cheguei o gerente estava lá para me receber e até consegui trocar de quarto, eles foram muito atenciosos em todos os momentos, em relação a limpeza estava tudo impecável A única coisa foi em relação a água quente do chuveiro, as pessoas que chegavam primeiro tomavam banho e quem vinha depois água já estava fria, tive que falar duas vezes com o gerente para que ele acionasse um mecanismo lá e então eu aguardava um pouco, até conseguir que a água ficasse quente novamente , porque a noite é muito frio em Marrakesh no período de Dezembro

The host Mohamed is one of the most sweetest and helpful person we have come across in this trip. The dinner they organised is a must. Very tasty food and ambience The location itself is not the best, but since it is deep inside the medina, it was a bit hard to access. There are few improvements needed in the rooms, like one of bathrooms was missing a door and no hand shower.

La cena tradizionale viene servita in uno spazio intimo e curato in perfetto stile tradizionale ma completo di ogni comfort. Nulla è stato tutto perfetto

Breakfast is very late: we were there at 8:15 but got food at 9. This is late when waiting with young children. The staff are friendly but not fast and didn’t even bring coffee during all that time. There was just about enough food for us, but we don’t eat much. Sadly on our second evening there was smoke from the fireplace in the courtyard and it had gotten into our room.. it smelled so bad that it was hard to fall asleep and all my clothes got smelly. It’s also a bit too cold in the rooms and definitely in the breakfastroom.

• Noël (10/5): Wonderful Riad Zaouia 44 - A beautiful riad in a quiet setting on the edge of the medina, within walking distance of all the top attractions. The room and bathroom are spacious, and are just like the photos on the website and the towels were changed daily Taxis can pull up right to the back of the riad, which is a huge advantage when loading and unloading luggage.. Mohamed, the manager, and his staff were fantastic. He gave us excellent tips and suggestions for our stay in Marrakech. He was always ready to help and made sure we had a wonderful holiday. The typical Moroccan breakfast was delicious,. This riad is highly recommended, and we will definitely be back. Nothing
• Keili-Kaisa (10/5): We loved our selection for two nights! - All like pictures and even better. Our family of four enjoyed the full experience. The room was cozy. The bathtub felt like true spa. The balcony was superb. The roof terrace was wonderful. The welcome dinner was the true cherry on top! Taxi station nearby. Interesting walk (even with our 5 and 3 YO) from Koutoubia. You might want to light up the room for some cases (ex packing your luggage), but all was wonderful!
