• Karen (10/5): We would highly recommend staying here. Everything creates a perfect travel experience in Naxos. Feels like you are vis - The location is great - a quiet area a short walk from the port. The accommodations are very clean and they have the most comfortable beds. But the best thing is the owner and staff who are extremely helpful and welcoming. He shared information about the area and great dinner recommendations every night. This is the perfect place to stay!

Spiros was very helpful with any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed. The property was in a great location for walking around the city center and also going to the beach. The room itself was clean and had a nice view of the surrounding area. The homemade breakfast was delicious! We would stay here again & recommend it to anyone!

• Veronique (10/5): Hôtel idéalement placé avec hôtes authentiques et chaleureux - Petit hôtel familial idéalement situé à 12 min à pied du port de Náxos et à 50m de la plage Georgia Mare (plage de sable fin, eau cristalline et peu profonde). Accueil chaleureux et nombreuses anecdotes de notre hôte Spiros vraiment gentil et à l'écoute de ses clients. Petit déjeuner buffet incluant des plats cuisinés sur place comme omelette à la feta, feuilleté a la courgette ou encore morceaux de banane cuite au miel et à la canelle à ne pas manquer ! Spiros est de très bon conseil pour les restaurants environnants, nous en avons testé 2 excellents : Yasouvlaki pour un repas sur le pouce sur l'avenue principale et To Elliniko pour un repas dans une taverne grecque traditionnelle plus sophistiquée (reservation fortement conseillée!). La localisation, la propreté et la gentillesse de notre hôte sont les éléments que nous retiendront. Seul petit bémol mineur : la salle de bain un peu petite mais rien de gênant.

• Karen (10/5): Staying at the Georgia Mare was the perfect introduction to Naxos hospitality! - The Georgia Mare is run by the loveliest couple, Spiros & Foulis, along with their kind and helpful staff. It was impeccably clean, safe, comfortable and at the calmer end of the Port beachfront (out of the fray) close to the next beach and in the midst of little streets and landward with shops and cafes. The room rate includes breakfast, and you’re in for a real treat. You’ll taste some of the most delicious local food! Can’t think of anything negative.

And what a spread for breakfast! Yummy! Spiros couldn't have done more to make our stay enjoyable. We will def be back! Could not fault a thing.

From arranging pick up from the ferry right to airport drop off with the affable Dimitris. He gave us tips on dining, sightseeing and generally navigating the delightful Naxos. Georgia Mare is perfectly located near the town square and also close to the relaxing Georgios beach. I can see why Naxos is the secret getaway for the well researched. No cruise ships!! We hired a buggy for the day and were amazed by the changes in countryside as we explored the island. I’d return to Naxos and return to Georgia Mare Paul and Lucy Bathroom is typically small

Ne-a primit foarte bine, ne-a ajutat cu bagajele și ne-a oferit multe informații despre insula (locuri de vizitat, plaje și taverne unde se mănâncă bine). Ne-am simțit foarte bine la Georgia Mare. A fost o vacanță reușită. Îi mulțumim mult dlui Spiros pentru ospitalitate!

Same walk to fantastic restaurants and bars, it was only 5 mins walk to town centre. Spiros and his wife were the perfect hosts and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We had travel delays and Spiros arranged and paid for a taxi to ease our problems! The buffet breakfast is excellent as were Spiros’s restaurant recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

• Brett (10/5): Perfect stay in Naxos you won’t feel any more welcomed and taken care of in any other property anywhere. - From the very first time we entered the front doors until the time we checked out we felt so welcome just like staying at a friends house. My wife and I have traveled to many many different places all around the world and have never felt so welcome anywhere. Spiros and the team made sure we had everything we needed, from restaurant and attraction recommendations and beach towels to the full breakfast buffet which was awesome, so many choices! The property is located an easy 10-15 minute walk from the port and is absolutely spotless and our room was cleaned and maintained each day. N/A

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent! Spiros is one of the best hosts we’ve ever had, so helpful and friendly! My only complaint would be that the bathroom is quite small and the shower gets the whole floor wet.

• Glen (10/5): Great property in a great location - The owner Spiros was absolutely amazing. He was warm, friendly, personable, helpful, and so caring. I don't think I have ever had a property owner be as warm and friendly as he was. We all gave each other big hugs when we departed. The location was terrific, literally 4 minutes from the beach. And the walk to the main part of town was no more than 7 or 8 minutes. It was in a quiet part of town. The king size bed was excellent. The breakfast had many choices, many made by Spiros' wife. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone. Small shower, similar to the size on a cruise ship.

• Andreas (10/5): Das Georgia Mare kann man auf jeden Fall jederzeit empfehlen. Es waren perfekte 5 Tage dort. - Die Lage war perfekt. Nur 50 m zum Strand, 10 Min. Fußweg zum Hafen und in die Stadt. Zum Flughafen benötigt man auch nur 10 Min. mit einem Taxi. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmässig ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank und Kaffeekocher. Am schönsten ist die Herzlichkeit von der Familie des Hauses. Spiros, Fouli und Georgia lesen einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab und beraten einen zu Ausflügen etc. Und die Krönung ist das leckere Frühstück. Viele selbstgemachte lokale Speisen, stets frisch zubereitet. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Alles war perfekt!

• Rebecca (10/5): Hotel fantastico a Naxos - Dal primo momento in cui sono entrata nell’hotel mi sono sentita a casa e immersa da un profondo affetto. Spiros e sua moglie sono due persone eccezionali, sempre disponibili e cordiali. Noi siamo arrivati nell’isola la mattina molto prima rispetto all’ora prevista per il check in ma nonostante ciò ci hanno permesso di entrare in camera e lasciare le nostre cose. Davvero una cortesia apprezzatissima. La colazione molto buona, con prodotti freschi e casalinghi. Ogni giorno le pietanze cambiavano e venivamo preparate sul momento. Inoltre, a noi è stata assegnata la camera al piano interrato che aveva un letto gigantesco e il materasso e le lenzuola erano di ottima qualità. Difficilmente ho trovato un livello così elevato della biancheria negli hotel.

The property is older but well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Our host, Spiros, was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, providing us with great recommendations on sights to see and places to eat. Although we only spent one night in Naxos, Spiros made it a truly wonderful experience.

Rooms suited our needs, walking distance to a local beach and cafes. Gorgeous place lovely views from our apartment. No complaints at all

• Michelle (10/5): Helpful hosts, central location, very comfortable beds - Very central, lovely hosts who are very helpful and knowledgeable and provided great recommendations and arranged our port transfers. Spiros and his family are absolute gems and work so hard for all their guests. Fantastic air con and lovely little terrace to enjoy an early evening glass of wine. Close to super restaurants and a supermarket and on the beach virtually. Super comfy beds, slept like a baby. Nothing, it was great. In hindsight if I had to book again I would book 2 separate rooms for our family of four including 2 teens age 13 and 17. The two bedroom apt is ideal for a family with small children but we are effectively 4 adults who need more space and 2 bathrooms. This didn’t affect our stay though we just had to be more organised with our belongings and at shower time.
• Anthea (10/5): A perfect stay in Naxos - Staying at Georgia Mare is like being enveloped in a huge hug. Fouli and Spiros are by far the most welcoming hosts I’ve ever stayed with. The location of this hotel is so perfect, a few minutes from the port, the fabulous restaurants of the old town and the beautiful beach just a few metres away. The facilities are so clean and the bed is so comfortable. The breakfast is a delicious treat all made with local produce fresh each day. I loved my stay here and highly recommended it!

• Donna (10/5): Exceptional hospitality and location. - The location is perfect…very close to the beach and a short stroll to the port centre, restaurants, bars, shops etc. The daily breakfast was extensive with a selection of delicious, freshly cooked items each morning. The owners Spiros & Fouli treated us like family. Nothing was too much trouble for them or their team. We stayed 11 nights and absolutely loved it to the point of sharing a tear on departure. We will never forget our stay at Georgia Mare or the incredible hospitality and kindness we were afforded. We can only dream of returning one day.

• Joana (9/5): - Die beiden Besitzer tun alles, um einen tollen Aufenthalt zu haben. Sie geben Tipps und stehen bei Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist top. Es gibt jeden Morgen eine grosse Auswahl, alles handgemacht. Das Badezimmer könnte sauberer sein, an den Fugen in der Dusche war Schimmel.
• Justyna (8/5): - Świetnie się tu spało. To nie tylko wygodne łóżka - chodzi chyba o atmosferę tego miejsca. Wspaniałe greckie śniadanie - jajka na wiele sposobów, owoce,ciasta,jogurt. Bardzo blisko morza. Trochę zbyt nachalny gospodarz. No i samo miasteczko bardzo turystyczne, bez klimatu.
• Joe (10/5): Spiros and his family welcome you into their home. A joyful place to stay - Well if there is ever a place to stay in Naxos this is it. Spiros, his wife and the team were incedible. From the first 5 minutes we were there they set a high standard. Lots of goodies on arrival. It felt like we were greeted by family and made to feel so welcome. Great tips provided about where to go and eat and what to do. Spacious and very clean room. Breakfast was delightful and that Naxion Greek Yogurt is the best ever - just like cream. Lots of home made breakfast items - a real feast. Close to the beach, the port and bus services to travel around the Island. There is absolutely nothing

Structure located in the center of Naxos and at the same time a stone's throw from the beach. Abundant breakfast both savory and sweet. Comfortable rooms, air conditioning, very comfortable balcony. I conclude that I spent a very nice week.

Spiros gave us so much information and advice on what to do, where to eat and best beaches to go to. They could not do enough to make our holiday stay perfect. Spiros en zijn vrouw zijn heel vriendelijk, werken hard en doen er alles aan om voor een aangenaam te zorgen. Spiros geeft diverse tips voor bijvoorbeeld goede restaurants. • Tamika (10/5): Georgia Mare went above and beyond!! - The Georgia Mare team went above and beyond, starting with all the recommendations we received about attractions and the best restaurants to visit when we arrived to the amazing breakfast we got each morning, absolutely delicious! The location is perfect aswell! Right near the beach and a short walk to restaurants/main boulevard and the bus stop. I felt really at home staying at Georgia Mare and will definitely be staying there again if I go back to Naxos! Nothing! Loved everything !!

Dette inkluderede opbevaring af vores bagage før check-in og efter check-out, vi fik lov at låne et bad efter check-ud, de lånte os en parasol til stranden mm. Vi havde oplevelsen af at de ville hjælpe med alt hvad vi havde brug for. Derudover var de altid glad og imødekommende og klar med anbefalinger til restauranter, aktiviteter, strande, caféer med mere og alt dette baseret på tidligere gæsternes oplevelser. Helt klart en anbefaling herfra og vi glæder os til at komme tilbage igen en gang ❤️ Der var ikke noget vi ikke kunne lide, alt var perfekt
