- Alan (10/5): - The excellent staff. Wish I could remember their names but every single interaction was excellent. The view out the window looking at Sainsburys
- Peter Walkinshaw (9/5): - We use the Toll House Inn as a very convenient stop off on way to Scotland. It is a nice hotel with a great location in Lancaster. Nothing of note, but remember to prebook the few parking spaces available outside hotel.
- Adam (10/5): Nice stay - I liked everything is was good service For me I didn't dislike anything
- Mishka1980 (8/5): -

Excellent service
Excellent staff
Great location near the canal for local walks and has a Sainsburys Local opposite the hotel. Also walkable into the city centre shops and attractions. We would have preferred not to have goose feather and down pillows but we didn't ask for an alternative.

Very easy to communicate on the train. Great eating in the Merchants Wine bar. Nothing to dislike. Interesting places to visit, easy travel with the seaside like Morecambe etc.

- Vincent (10/5): - Excellent service and great vegan options for dinner and breakfast. Too short of a stay
- John (8/5): Friendly staff, good food, good location. - Breakfast excellent. Good range of drinks. Good location. Rooms a bit tired. Bathroom/toilet missing some simple things - handles to help getting in and out of shower/bath, nowhere to hang towels. A lot of traffic noise.
- Simon (10/5): Great location, quality place - Great location, lovely selection of drinks and hearty breakfast. Clean and comfortable room - perfect for a weekend break. On the second morning, we were ignored a little by the staff at breakfast in favour of larger groups. Not everyone wants to shout for service!

- Domican (10/5): - The staff were all lovely and helpful.my husband is now a wheel chair user and the room was very accessible with a wet room ,and grab rail for the toilet .
He can walk short distances and found the small back patio area accessible and a pleasant area to sit out .
The breakfast was lovely with a very good selection . Arranging pick ups was difficult as the hotel surrounded by double yellow lines .there is a very small parking area you can book in advance if you drive .but as we were getting friends to pick us up it was a bit difficult .
- Nicki (8/5): Nice hotel good breakfast - Breakfast! Room was a bit warm we couldn’t open windows but it did have A/C. At £130 B&B probably a bit more than we usually pay but was good location. In addition we had to pay £15 for car parking across the road so overall quite an expensive stay.

- Shelagh (9/5): -
- Neil (10/5): - The location was good. The staff were very helpful and the food was exceptional. Not really the hotels fault but our reserved parking space was taken by another car.Perhaps if they put warning signage up it could act as a deterrent.
- Jakob (10/5): - Cosy room, good facilities, lovely breakfast, and really friendly staff!
- Eric (8/5): -
- Fiona (9/5): - I was travelling on my own and the staff looked after me well. I had a lovely dinner on my own in the restaurant which was very generously portioned and a delicious breakfast before I departed. Staff were also helpful with details of where to park with there being a long stay car park just a few hundred yards from the hotel. I was in an accessible room, which was lovely, however it would have been nice for the bathroom floor to have felt a little more in keeping with the rest of the room whilst still keeping its wet room approach that enabled it to be fully accessible.

Very good shower is always nice to have. The bar is friendly and has a good range of beers. Breakfast menu is great and the food is even better. Parking is in a public car park opposite the hotel. This is not a huge problem though.

- Go16052456989 (10/5): Fantastic venue and exceptional staff - We chose the Toll Inn as the venue for our son’s wedding. Many of us also booked the hotel accommodation. The quality of the food was exceptional and the friendly staff were absolutely fantastic. I can’t thank you guys enough, especially Chloe, Sam, Georgia and that new guy Joe (if you know, you know).
- Beard (10/5): Central, value for money, good breakfast. Would book again. - Everything, great breakfast, comfortable bed, great location Nothing
- Susan Fargher (6/5): Toll House - Decor was beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and staff were lovely, and helpful pleasant 😀 Bathrooms need looking at. In our allocated room the bathroom sink had 2 large chips out of it, the tap on the sink was extremely loose, and the toilet roll holder had been broken off there was no where to put your toiletries. Staff were extremely apologetic and moved us to another room, a larger one, which was lovely but again a chip out of the sink the toilet seat didnt fit (was too small) and a chunk out of the skirting board, again no where for toiletries.
- Beard (10/5): Lovely place to stay in Lancaster - Inn is very central. Room very clean and modern. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was fab. Lovely chocs and different teas etc in the room make such a difference! White company toiletries. Nothing

Helpful friendly staff. A wide range of breafast options included.
I ate here in the evening and was pleasantly surprised by the menu which was not just typical "pub grub".Also has an outdoor area for drinks.
I would definitely return Nothing

- Cholomley (10/5): Highly recommend The Toll House. Attentive and very client-oriented staff. Thanks. - A very enjoyable stay at the Toll House. Very attentive and helpful staff. We stopped here on our way to Perth. Perfect for a break in the journey.
Make sure you book parking at the Toll House. It is worth it.
- yvonne (9/5): T and Y - Perfect location, for the canal, Williamson Park and city centre. Nice bedroom and complimentary chocolates were a nice touch. And lovely toiletries. Great choice of fresh fruits, dried fruits n nuts plus pastries and cooked breakfast. Didn't get alot of sleep as our bedroom was above the kitchen and the fan was left on which sounded like a generator.
- Debra (10/5): A perfect few days. The hotel is located centrally, the food was amazing and so much choice. The staff were all so lovel - It was very clean, the staff were so friendly and the location and facilities perfect There was nothing at all we were unhappy about
- Scott (9/5): - Lovely room Nothing
- jkS6153OR (10/5): Value for money - We loved our stay at Toll House Inn Lancaster. The location was great, only a minute or two from the shops and bars. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us and we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms although not large were well equipped and very comfortable. Great value for money. We can't wait to return.
- 900carols (10/5): Great stay - solo female - Very comfortable hotel, great location near the canal and city centre. Staff were all helpful and welcoming. The included breakfast had a very good range of buffet and cooked options. I ate here twice in the evening and enjoyed the menu which was not the typical pub grub.
I will definitely return here if visiting Lancaster.
- andrewmD9962YJ (10/5): One night stay at the Toll House Inn - Upon arrival we found the staff to be very friendly, courteous and accommodating.
Our room was extremely comfortable and the welcome chocolate treats were a really nice surprise.
The evening meal was very good as was breakfast.
We will hopefully be returning for another long weekend at the toll house inn very soon.

- Amelia (8/5): Lovely stay! - The hotel itself was decorated beautifully, staff were really friendly and the included breakfast was lovely! The bar was great and a nice place for a drink in the evening. Courtyard was also lovely Bed was unfortunately a little bit bumpy, might need a new one in the room we stayed in
- GillianB1458 (10/5): Anniversary weekend - Wow! What a fabulous couple of nights away, location great only 10 mins from the station , lovely hotel staff so friendly and helpful, room was comfortable, we had two excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious so much choice. We chose to have an evening meal on our second night and what a great choice probably one of the best meals I've ever had. Would highly recommend this hotel.

- Ewa (8/5): - Śniadanie naprawdę świetne, poza szwedzkim stołem można zamówić ciepłe dania z kuchni na życzenie, wszystko było przepyszne. Personel bardzo pomocny.
- Alan (9/5): A great time with friends in a warm and friendly environment. - Very clean and comfortable stay. Vegetarian breakfasts were excellent. Staff were helpful and cheery with it. We ate one night in the hotel restaurant and it was enjoyed by all. Bathroom was a little short on surfaces on which to put your wash bag etc. The plumbing needs a slight tweak to stop the constant gurgling noises. Perhaps it just needs the central heating re-setting?
- Woodley (8/5): Overall very good, would definitley return. Excellent location. Staff were excellent. - Staff very friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant on Monday Evening, food was excellent. Breakfast , again excellent, food and very friendly and helpful staff Room was clean but a little tired.

- mairead (9/5): - Location to hospital was excellent..
Sweet treats in room was an unexpected surprise..
Flask of fresh milk offered on arrival to use in the room..
Basket of teas/coffee plus coffee machine ...
Staff and facilities outstanding.. Not a thing
- Jess (3/5): Ruined by noise disruption - Breakfast, room, and staff were all good It was not made clear there would be live music playing in the bar. I was hoping to have an early night for various reasons. Whilst I can appreciate the music finished at 10pm so as not to disrupt sleeping, the music volume/sound proofing was so that I couldn't even relax in my room. I couldn't even easily hear the Tv in my room. When I asked if I could move to room further away from the music, staff were apologetic but told me I would be able to hear it wherever I went in the building.
I was hoping to have a relaxing evening in my hotel room but couldn't and slept badly as a result of not being able to wind down before 10pm. If I had know live music was playing and would have that sort of impact, I would NEVER have stayed at the Toll Cross Inn. I was hugely disappointed
