- Verified traveler (10/5): - The building was very well kempt and much cozier and inviting than a large hotel. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Too hot. No A/C and heat wave was on
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Our stay was fine. The breakfast was so delicious as we are mostly vegetarians and the dish was tasty and filling. Likewise the bowl of assorted fruits. Because of that we would stay again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice place to stay at and close to the water
- Joline (10/5): Wonderful - Our hosts were great people; very gracious and informative. The view is outstanding and breakfast was amazing!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast and was nervous about it. The house is a lovely older historic home. The owners clearly take extreme pride on their home and the experience they give their guests! They are delightful people! Breakfast was AMAZING!! Would love to stay again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The flower gardens are gorgeous and the homemade breakfast was fantastic! What a beautiful Victorian home just blocks from the river. The views from the windows were great and the room was comfortable. We had our bikes with us and the hosts offered to have us put them in a storage area in their living part of the house. Such courtesy! I will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location, room and breakfast were excellent. The owner's collections of antique items were fun.
- Hande (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Rose River Inn, the house is very beautiful, the location is great and Pam was very friendly. My room was very comfortable and the breakfast in the dining room overlooking the ocean is amazing. Thanks for a great stay!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - On arrival one is greeted with the beautiful flower gardens, smelling amazingly of the roses. The Rose River Inn is light, bright and airy and of course charming. The rooms are comfortable and clean with everything one needs. Several have sitting areas and/or views of the Mighty Columbia. David and Pam are on site and helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast is over the top delicious.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location and the breakfasts were excellent. The hosts were so accommodating!

- Richard (10/5): A pleasant, restful stay - Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very fresh and tasty.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Owner Pam was very attentive and considerate of needs
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cute, quaint, lovely home...got crabbed at for checking in after 9pm, but otherwise, nice time. Older home, so some creeky floors let you hear everyone else coming and going, but not a big deal.
- John (10/5): - We have a wonderful stay in Astoria. Dave and Pam made our stay. The Rose River Inn will be in our future plans soon...…..
- Russ Kevin (10/5): Quiet, comfortable B&B in the heart of Astoria - Pam and David are excellent hosts. They greeted us when we arrived, gave us the rundown of the B&B, showed us to the room, and gave us information about nearby restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Rose River Inn is a very well maintained building, with amazing views from the dining room and some of the guest rooms. The breakfasts are outstanding, with a big fresh fruit salad, yogurt and granola, followed by very good egg dishes (the veggie option). They also have an impressive rose garden.
It is a very short walk to the main downtown area, and we only used our car once while in town. We have an electric vehicle, and Pam let us know about a fast EV charging station 2 blocks away.
I absolutely recommend Rose River Inn to anyone planning a trip to Astoria.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Operators were excellent! They greeted us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the facilities, recommended some local favorites, and advised us of expectation-setting on what business openings on Sunday evening through Tuesday.
Room is gorgeous, breakfasts were stellar, the the house is the shortest of walks from tons of downtown spots.
- Richard (10/5): - The beautiful view of the bay from the observatory/enclosed porch
- TitoandMaria (10/5): - This was such a spectacular place to stay. Close to downtown shops and eateries plus close enough to all of what that region has to offer.
- Heather (10/5): Delightful place! Delicious Breakfast! - Fantastic B & B! Delicious breakfast!
- Mike (10/5): - Very clean and welcoming experience. Will definitely come back again. The owners are very nice and sweet. The breakfast was great, especially with the morning views.
- Leslie (10/5): - Cozy and clean! Great views of the Columbia River. Delicious breakfast! Worth the money!
- Jill (10/5): - Very nice property and hosts. This is the traditional B&B experience in a nice old house. Great breakfast. Bed was really comfortable (and I am pretty picky about that). Location was fantastic and hosts were friendly and helpful. 5 Stars!
- Rachel (10/5): Quiet Home Base for Brewery Visits! - Pam and Dave are gracious hosts, and were also well versed in local history. The house is clean, spacious, and nicely furnished, and clearly very well cared for. Breakfast was exceptional! Lovely view down the hill from the breakfast table, out to vistas of the water. Perfect location for a stroll into town, and a mere block away from Fort George Brewery, which was the primary focus of our trip. All in all, a great quiet place to spend the weekend. Would highly recommend.
- Diane (10/5): - Pam was a wonderful hostess, and an excellent cook. She made us fresh fruit with Tillamook yogurt, a wonderful egg dish and even a little piece of chocolate cake for dessert. She filled us in on stories of historical Astoria and gave us ideas on where to eat. We would stay here again. She has beautiful antiques all over the house to look at and enjoy.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We’d like checking out the best.
When I travel I love to stay In bed and breakfast places. This is the first bed-and-breakfast that I would not reserve again nor would I recommend it.
Did not receive a welcome and introduction when we arrived. The gentleman owner would not help with our luggage up or down the stairs. Bed and pillows were not comfortable and questioned whether the linens were clean or not. The B&B had an over all musty smell and we saw a cat in the kitchen and was uneasy about our food.
- Peter (10/5): Perfect Rose - Beautiful B& B, within walking distance of the wonders of Astoria.
- Richard (10/5): Welcoming and wonderful - Owners we’re warm, friendly, and welcoming. Room was perfect.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Love the claw foot tub. Close to downtown walking, riverwalk, restaurants.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was excellent Pam and her husband were outstanding. Place is well located with downtown core an easy walk. The place was excellent quiet and quite the river view. Will stay there again.
- Jeff (10/5): - A beautiful old house that is very well cared for. The outside is also beautifully landscaped with incredible flowers and bushes.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The breakfast was great and the property conveniently located
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This bnb was so charming, and the home was centrally located and walking distance to everything that we wanted to do in Astoria. Breakfast was amazing, and the hosts were very friendly.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Do NOT stay here!
-it’s across the street from abandoned homes and what seems like halfway houses.
-the lady, Pam, was so rude! When I booked the reservation a few months prior and I had clicked the box that said I am allergic to eggs. So, she calls me and says she makes quiche in the morning and would have nothing for me. I was shocked that she would call me, much less not be able to make simple pancakes, etc.
-We walked into this B&B and immediately left. The room smelled like she just sprayed Febreze over a very dirty, old bedspread. No TV and super small, jammed next to 4 other rooms upstairs next to you.
-There isn’t much to walk to and there’s crime around that’s visible. Astoria is on the way downhill.
-Stay in Cannon Beach! We wished we would have just slept there!! Or Seaside. Both better than Astoria. Truly nothing to do here. Don’t be fooled by the advertising.
Keep looking! You’ll regret it as much as we did!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a wonderful place to stay. The house is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and interesting collections. The owners were gracious and friendly. The breakfast was delicious.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The house, yard and rooms are very nice. The owners, Pam and Dan, are super friendly and accommodating. Walkable to downtown, the Riverwalk, museum, movie theater, etc. Excellent breakfasts. Only a very minor flaw in my mind is this: no TV, which is fine, but with the lack of that there should be at least a clock radio in the room. My room had an alarm clock but no radio. I listened to music on my phone but couldn’t listen to local news or anything. Not a big deal because everything else was fine.
- Mitchel (10/5): A real gem of a BnB close to everything - A very nice BnB located in a quiet neighborhood, yet just a five minute walk from the center of Astoria. I loved this place and will definitely choose it for my next stay in Astoria!
- HENRY (8/5): Great location! A few small cavaets! - Great location for walking to all central Astoria museums, restaurants, shopping, waterfront, etc. Good breakfasts - a different quiche each morning of the 3 we stayed. The clawfoot tubs in some rooms may be difficult for older and/or shorter individuals to negotiate. Lots of breezes, fans provided, but no A/C!
- Roger (10/5): astoria visit - good location helpful friendly owners great breakast
- Kate (10/5): - This was a great spot for my husband and I to stay on our way back home from our honeymoon. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The location is fabulous!! It was easy to locate and walking distance to restaurants, breweries, and an amazing whiskey bar. Pam served a 3-course breakfast at 8:30AM and everything was really extraordinary. It was a nice change from the normal hotel experience to share a meal with the other guests that had stayed the previous evening. The home itself has a lot of old-world charm with original woodwork and some great old fashioned floral carpeting. Our room was one of the rooms that only had a bathtub and no stand up shower, but it didn't affect us.
- Joyce (10/5): - Everything at this bed and breakfast is perfect. The beds are comfortable, the room is adorable and the home is clean. The breakfast is delicious and served to the guests with much love and attention to detail I highly recommend staying here
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful home, wonderful people, great location and a fantastic breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, other guests were a lot of fun, breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We have been to this property several times and enjoy it each time we stay here. the location to walking downtown is perfect and we especially like the lovely breakfast in the morning.... keep up the good work
- Stephen (10/5): - Lovely interesting town , great hosts and excellent breakfast , would certainly go back
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The breakfast was wonderful, and the location, perfect.
I would rather have a shower in my batroom, rather than a tub.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great people. Small number of guests and friendly breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Sunroom adjoining our room looking out at the Columbia River and ships was very nice. Not too crazy about claw foot tub, but shower was very nice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Charming home in a beautiful location within walking distance to several attractions in Astoria.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hospitable hosts, comfortable room, nice breakfast.
- Gerrit (10/5): - Great B&B, breakfasts were amazingly good, comfortable beds, clean rooms, tasteful decorations, in tune to Victorian house. Hosts were the best! Blocks away from all activity, including the column. Definitely will come back.
- Jesika (10/5): Cute cozy place to stay - This place was such a fun place to stay! It was nice to have a different experience since I've never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. The building is older but maintained well, and I love all of the older style furniture that fit into the setting. The host was very accommodating and sweet, and she made a super yummy breakfast of fresh fruit and quiches. I definitely recommend and would stay here again!
- Jaye (10/5): - Lovely old home with a very pleasant couple running it. Pam and David made sure we felt at home, our room was clean and nicely decorated, we could come and go as we pleased without feeling we were disturbing others. Pam is quite knowledgeable about her neighborhood and Astoria in general, and was able to recommend some places to eat and some brew pubs. We enjoyed walking around Astoria, and very much enjoyed our stay at the Rose River Inn. And the breakfast Pam prepared was FABULOUS. Seriously. I'd go back just for breakfast!
- Jon (10/5): - Great spot up the hill from downtown - close to route to Astoria Column
- Lois (8/5): - Great location and fun owners. There was no stand up shower, there was a claw foot tub with a handheld shower though. Perhaps that was just our room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful home filled with wonderful collections. - We enjoyed staying in the historic town of Astoria. This B and B was just a short two block walk to the waterfront restaurants and breweries. The grounds are spectacular and breakfast was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Victorian Comfort - Surprised by this enchanting B& B. Lovely yard, welcoming hosts, fully decorated with antique and period pieces. Comfortable room, delicious breakfast. Very conveniently located.
- MrAndree (10/5): Did the job - Easy to find, close to the centre. Great breakfast, nice bed and a great host.
- Suze&Kenny (10/5): - Our hosts Dave & Pam are seasoned innkeepers, everything completely organized, but completely relaxed and warmly inviting, their home is stunning, their rose and dahlia garden envelops the house on all sides w/ fragrance and color. The morning breakfast Pam served was all homemade and delicious! We loved our stay and loved Astoria. All thumbs up from us!!
- Sean (10/5): Charming and comfortable - We had a lovely stay at the Rose River Inn Bed and Breakfast. Pam and David were friendly and hospitable and made us feel right at home. The house was charming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
