Please note that cash is not accepted at the property. All payments must be made by credit, debit or EFTPOS card. Unless paying now, payment for entire stay and any incidentals are required upon arrival at the hotel. Card payments: Please note that there is a 1.74% charge when you pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, WeChat, AliPay, Union Pay or JCB card. Pre-payment for the night of 31 December will be required. Your credit or debit card will be charged within 48 hours after the booking is made. All bedrooms (excluding studio & mini suites) have a king-zipped bed that can be split into 2 single beds. Every three (3) days, your suite will receive an Express Service where we will make the beds with existing linen, replace towels, replace finished amenities, stack the dishwasher and empty the rubbish. For stays longer than 7 nights, your suite will receive a Full Service and be fully cleaned, including all linen changed once every seven (7) days. A valid ID must match the credit, debit or EFTPOS card upon check in. Please note that this property requires a credit, debit or EFTPOS card pre-authorisation upon booking. The bed was too firm for me and I think it would be great to have a more comfortable lounge. Something you can lean back on to relax. The one that’s there looks okay it doesn’t seem very functional..

Such nice, calming, relaxed attitudes and they know their stuff. It’s not free parking included in the room but it’s cheap, so it’s okay.

Louise (6/5): Perfect location for the Blues on Broadbeach festival. - I liked the location and the fully equipped kitchen. The unit has a large balcony which is big enough for a family to sit and have breakfast or lunch. The unit was clean and quiet. The staff at front desk were friendly and helpful when I checked in. I didn't like the king size bed because it was too big for the small bedroom. Hotels think a king size bed is luxurious, but if it makes the bedroom look small, it's a false sense of luxury. On the other hand the two seater couch in the living room was too small for the large living area. The furniture in the living room was metal and stone. It was hard, cold and impersonal. It was also so heavy it was difficult to move, and this includes the dining chairs. The doona on the bed was too hot, even for May, but there were no other blankets in the wardrobe. The only option would have been to call reception and request a blanket instead of the doona.

The location is perfect too - for Broadbeach restaurants, Pacific Fair, transport and the casino. Please explain the new lift system to guests who haven't stayed for while!

There was a line up to check in- required IDs of all occupants of room. Line up so long to check in, that a staff member brought water around to the people in the line. No soundproofing in room at all. Non stop Traffic sounds, neighbours coming home slamming doors drunk, and vomiting in the morning. Lift sounds. Aircon directly over bed. All of this constantly woke us up. Horrible. One would think such an expensive apartment building would have invested in double glazed windows and wall insulation during its renovation.

Check in process was slow, there was a queue out the door, and 5 people on front desk so they need to speed up the process in that regard.

Tamara (9/5): Comfortable stay in a convenient located hotel in the heart of Broadbeach - The Meriton is ideally located close to the Convention Centre which I was attending an event at. It is also in the heart of Broadbeach in walking distance to Pacific Fair, restaurants and the beach. It has both an indoor and outdoor pool, the room was comfortable and had a view of the ocean from our balcony. There’s not much not to like. It would be nice if car parking was included in the price given it is over $350 per night but the price is justified by its location and facilities.
