• Stephen (6/5): Could do better! - Srimali's Residence has plenty of potential but it's the small things the owners need to look at. On the positive side, the rooms are big, as are the bathrooms, the location is fine, ten minutes walk to the beach and a couple of minutes to the bus stop into Galle, pleasant surroundings with the occasional monkey sighting and plenty of stripy squirrels. Breakfast was OK and the family friendly. When we arrived only two of our three rooms had a towel. Safes were on the tables but not secured so not really any use. No hot water (it came sporadically) and my room had very poor water pressure. Although the toilet had bum sprays, it would have been nice if they'd supplied toilet tissue as well, and there were no toiletries whatsoever nor drinking water. Little things that could make this place so much nicer at minimal cost to the owners. The lady had no idea of the wifi password on our arrival so we had to wait until the next morning to get it. It should be left somewhere in the room, It was decent value, despite this. I am in the guesthouse business so I hope the owner does look at this review as constructive criticism.
• SMJH (6/5): - Wir (Mutter mit erwachsener Tochter) waren auf unserer Rucksack-Rundreise zwei Nächte im Srimalis. Die Besitzerfamilie ist sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und liebenswürdig. Das Frühstück war auch gut und beide Tage anders. Aber: Man sollte sich bei dieser Unterkunft darüber im Klaren sein, dass alles wirklich sehr „basic“ ist. Die Besitzer wohnen im Erdgeschoss, die Rezeption ist im unordentlichen Wohnzimmer. Der Verkehrslärm durch die nahe Straße ist trotz Ohrenstöpseln gut wahrnehmbar. Verzogene Türen, deren einfache Schlösser schlecht schließen. Fleckige Handtücher (sicherlich nach bestem Wissen gewaschen). Also wirklich alles sehr einfach und keinesfalls für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet.
• Claudette (10/5): Perfect!! - Very nice owner and family! Good rooms, with a great and big balcony. Two steps from the road were everything happens, incuding all restaurantes. Near to the beach and if you are lucky you will se some monkeys from balcony. Good value for money! Really a good place, recommed!
• Victor (10/5): Отличный отпуск в Унаватуне - Отдыхали с женой в данном гостевом доме 9 суток. Нам все очень понравились, к поездке готовились заранее, много читали отзывов, хочу по итогу сказать, что данное место заслуженно получает высокие оценки. Мы отдыхали только здесь, и с другими местами на острове сравнимать не можем. Впечатления отличные! Т.к. это не совсем отель в полном смысле слова, а скорее гостевой дом, то многое в отдыхе решается с помощью общения с хозяевами, а это замечательная молодая семья - Налака и Саку и 3-е их детей. Здесь можно и договориться на ужин, или обед на удобных условиях и все это очень вкусно (здесь уже давно отдохнуло много наших соотечественников, наши вкусовые предпочтения известны), тут помогут с обменом валют и экскурсиями на выгодных для вас условиях. Не говоря о банальных советах и дружеских беседах. Налака по нашей просьбе купил все необходимые фрукты для отправки домой, помог запаковать их, возил нас покататься на слонах на своем тук-туке. О трансфере туда-обратно я тоже договорился с ним на хороших условиях еще из Москвы. С интернетом на Шри-Ланке все не как дома конечно, но тут явно лучше, на первом и втором этаже все отлично ловит, в номерах вай-фай не добивает. Пляж рядом, там все также достаточно комфортно ( мне, впервые побывавшему в Азии после европейских курортов, было приятно узнать что лежаки и зонтики тут бесплатные). В общем, спасибо тебе, Налака, за помощь в проведении нашего отпуска! Данное место однозначно рекомендуем!
• Torill M (10/5): Nice area - The best stay evet. Nice large rooms, very nice balcony outside our room with wild monkeys in the trees next to us. Theese mo keys are shy so they never bother you. The manager and his family were very nice and helpful at all times. Just a short walk to the beach with lovley water if you enjoy swimming. Lots of small nice restaurants and shops on the small street on the way to the beach. When we left the manager drove us to Galle Fort. I will absolutely recommend this hotel.
