Guest Reviews
- Nicole (1/5): Had the potential to be the perfect property but having bed bugs ruined the entire trip. - The proximity to the Cathedral. My wife and I both woke up with multiple bites all over our bodies from the bed. We found a bug crawling on us and in the bed. Based on the number of bites and blisters that formed from the bites, it’s pretty safe to say the property has bed bugs. Ended up sleeping on the floor.
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Location amazing, staff lovely. Air con didn't work properly.
- Raymond (9/5): Superb -
- Geoffrey (9/5): Superb -
- Clayton (10/5): Perfect stay except for the bed bugs. Staff were very good tho offering an alternative room (no view) and did an extra c - Location and view The bedbugs, noisy til 5am every day
- Maria (8/5): Lovely view of the cathedral! - The view and location near the cathedral. It was small for our family of 4.
- Bojan (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location. Very friendly staff. The table vas very small and did not extend.
- Robyn (8/5): Beautiful little apartment with great location. But be prepared for loud partygoers on the weekend evenings due to the - Location! No remote control for the air conditioning unit, too noisy in the evenings to keep the windows open with loud people on the streets past 4am.
- Scott (9/5): Great location. - This was a clean apartment in a great neighborhood close to the Cathedral. It was a little tight for 3 adults but we were comfortable.
- Marco (3/5): Too expensive for what it is - The location is great Broken air conditioner. Noisy. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows
- Carrie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (9/5): Excellent host and great location. - Collected keys at nearby location - excellent service and lady went out of her way to be helpful. One person slept in the living room on sofa bed and was kept awake with excessive noise from the pub across the way.
- Leone (9/5): Superb -
- Eric (8/5): Very good - Unbeatable location! Second time there already!
- Gerry (8/5): Enjoyed Santiago as we have always done on previous visits - Very central -beside the Cathedral & only a few minutes walk to numerous restaurants
- Eng (9/5): Superb - The location was definitely a real winner and plenty of fresh air and sunlight in the apartment. Cafes, restaurants, and sights were all so close.
The host was easy to contact and responded promptly. The apartment on the third floor was very secure and well furnished with a washing machine. The sofa bed, for the third guest, took up most of the living space.
- Sally (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (10/5): Best stay after reaching Santiago on you last day!! - Best location in Santiago, nice view great to get around in the city, so close to the plaza after your last walk. Love the place. To be fair as you are in the city, you will have some noise from the street music and the people, open windows?
- Teresa (7/5): Good -
- Laura (6/5): Top floor apartment convenient to Cathedral, but major street and walkway makes for interrupted sleep. - King bed was comfortable. Clothes washer and drying rack was nice. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and the location, though nice access to the Cathedral, is extremely noisy from the late night revelers (until 4:00 am), even with the windows shut. Only one pocket door to the kitchenette was working and there were only 4 hangers to help dry clothing.
- Carmen (10/5): Great location - Location
- Eoin (10/5): Lovely place - Nice small apartment in amazing location.
- Heyheyitsc (9/5): Superb - Amazing flat, right in the heart of everything. Well laid out, very cozy. Showers were amazing. Super good stay. That guy playing bagpipes non-stop. Not the fault of the place but if you hate bagpipes, you will hate them more after staying here.
- Francisco (7/5): Good -
- Helen (9/5): Superb - Location wise - the best! Its just few steps away to the Cathedral.
- Irina (5/5): Picture is always better - Location us a great, next to the Cathedral Picky rooms with low selling and doorway. Very narrow passages, almost unoassubke with a travel suitcases.
- Sophia (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location clean well maintained flat. Hostess is very helpful. Thank you
- Dins (9/5): Location - In the very heart of the old town and next to the cathedral it is a cozy apartment with good view. Small kitchenette was useful to prepare simple dinner and breakfast. Supermarket located in 15-20 min walking distance.
- Angela (7/5): Great location but not very clean, ideal for 2 people - Great location at the heart of Santiago de Compostela. Friendly and very helpful staff, we could leave our luggage at the reception desk. Clear instructions for check-in. It works well with Top Santiago luggage courrier too. Definitely could be cleaner, I got bitten by bed bugs on the master bed. The reception isn't in the same building and the old town centre landscape isn't the best for big suitcases. No elevator either. Too small for 4 people but probably ideal for 2 people. The tea table is old and not very stable anymore.
- Gloria (7/5): A bit of a Disappointment! - It was right in Old Town and close to the Cathedral. You could see the Cathedral spires from the window. Near to all shops and restaurants. When we arrived the washing machine had a sign to do not use. The only reason I booked that apartment was because it had a washing machine. They did offer to do the laundry for us.
It was not clean. I had to sweep and got a whole pile of dirt and hair.
The lounge was ripped and stained.
I could go on and on.
- Scott (9/5): Amazing stay in the center of Santiago - The apartment is huge and really well located.
- Antonius (8/5): Very good -
- Goncalo (8/5): Very good -
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (7/5): Great location - Location was excellent. We had lots of room. The washing machine didn’t work but staff helped with washing. No plug in kitchen sink or bathroom.
- Julie (8/5): Too short! We will be back after walking the Camino. - The location was excellent. The space in the apartment was great. It was well supplied. There was a bit of noise from the apartment above.
- Valentin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Perfect place to stay after the Camiño - Proximity to Cathedral Bare
- Ciara (7/5): It was nice. Good location and nice view. It’s a good place, and the team is very responsive. However, do fix the AC, fu - The bathroom was nice. Beds were comfortable and a good kitchen. The couch/bed should be bigger. The AC on the main bedroom was leaking and there were spiders or bugs that stung us.
- Paulo (10/5): Wonderful location - Very spacious, great location, they held our luggage the last day.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - Very central and easy to navigate
- Judith (10/5): The location was amazing and the apartment was a comfortable place to rest after completing the Camino. - The location is perfect for anyone completing the Camino or visiting the cathedral. The staff was very helpful.
- Cynthia (8/5): Very good - The staff was excellent. The location was excellent. There was air conditioning in the main area and bedroom as well . Narrow steps.
- Meredith (8/5): Very good - The location can’t be beat. Check in was easy and quick. The apartment had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
- Tony (8/5): Very good -
- Otvare (10/5): Exceptional - Very close to the Cathedral.
Clean and cozy. Beautiful view 😍
- Maura (5/5): Need to get the locks changed - We had to go to a different building around the corner for the keys. The keys were ill fitting and it was really hard to open the door.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - Incredible position. Nice space, view on the cathedral and the garden. All good!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Everything you want for a stay in Santiago - The location was unbelievable! It is directly at the finish of the Camino Frances. We loved watching pilgrims from the window. The apartment was quiet and clean with everything we needed.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Niezapomniany - Great view! Beautiful location
- Sotiris (9/5): A superb location - This is as close as you can stay to the Cathedral!
You can see the bell tower from the window and hear the pipes playing for the pilgrims arriving in Plaza del Obradoiro. Although there was a washing machine in the room, there was no tumble dryer.
Luckily, we found a coin operated one just 50 meters away (Lavandaria da Troia).
- Bev (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trudie (10/5): Fantastic location - Fantastic location, can see cathedral from the fully opening windows, wonderfully central. Just step out front door and one is amongst the shops and restaurants. Supermarket close by. A fantastic final night on my Camino.
Place to pick up keys is very close, I was able to check in earlier than 4pm, very friendly person to assist with good English. It's minor but a smart tv would be great instead of small old TV. In other places l found a smart TV was useful for news and weather, as well as chilling with a movie.
- Oliver (4/5): Sub standard with several issues. Would avoid! - Great location. Bed was comfortable. Black mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. Extractor fan fails to extract moisture!
Sound proofing is none existent. People above were up at 8am walking around and around. Could hear every footstep and their conversation. Woke us both up. Some rugs would really help.
No towels out in the bathroom. No iron even though there was an ironing board.
The smallest TV ever in the lounge, think my laptop is bigger!
No surface space in the bathroom, had to put toiletries on the floor.
- Traveller (8/5): Good apartment in a great location! - Great location.
- Caroline (10/5): Perfect place to stay to enjoy the last part of our Camino de Santiago journey. We treated ourselves to this apartment a - The location, views and whole apartment was fantastic! The management was also very friendly, helpful! We loved everything about this booking.
- Timothy (8/5): Very good -
- David (6/5): Pleasant stay in Santiago de Compostella - The location was great and being on the 1st floor (second floor by US standards) was better than a third floor unit. The bed was comfortable. There was no remote for the bedroom ac, requested one but was never delivered. The apartment is in a noisy area but I slept fine with earplugs. However, there appears to be no insulation between our apt and the one upstairs. Could hear them speaking and when they moved about the apt it was very loud, even through earplugs. Also, I requested the property to order a taxi two hours prior to my departure and they were unable to secure one. I think if taxi’s are so difficult to get on day of departure they should advise the guest that they need to reserve a day or two in advance.
- Catherine (10/5): Superb. - Everything. Lovely welcome .Everything we needed at the end of our walk .perfect location .highly recommend.
- Filip (7/5): Good - Very good location The apartment was not clean
- Toni (10/5): Lovely woman who greeted us and walked us to apartment. - Wonderful location!
- Carmel (7/5): Central but noisy - The bagpipes were playing very loud at this location so if you need a siesta it’s not the place. A bit noisy
It’s very central and if you need that it’s good otherwise it’s too noisy
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Great location. Close to the cathedral and all dining, drink and shopping options. Key very tricky to get into the apartment
- Gregor (10/5): Great place, would come back - Great location, nice apartment, easy check-in. Love that I could skip the online checkin form by sending passport photos by email! Nothing big, but the walls are pretty thin so we heard people walking in the floor above us late at night.
- Darren (8/5): Very good - Comfortable, clean, enough towels, good location Noisy neighbors, thin walls/floors/ceilings. You can hear everything easily.
- Pavlina (9/5): Superb - Perfect location, a few steps from the cathedral. The apartment is small but exceedingly charming - a newly refurbished and neatly fitted in an old house (medieval -barroque?). A true genius loci. Contactless Check-in worked fine, we did not meet the owner, but received the keys well as well as all info we needed. The floors are thin - you can hear every movement of the guests staying above you.
- Garyhynes77 (10/5): Camino Royale - Wonderfully old, well decorated stylish apartment with all amenities; fridge, washing machine, kettle, TV's Shower, etc. Located right beside the Cathedral. All the fantastic streets of Santiago with their resturants and bars are all outside the front door. Good value for money too I liked everything the only thing missing are Plastic and compost recycling bins
- Glenda (9/5): We love it . It was so close to everything . The host was super nice and prompt to anything you need . There was a probl - literally minutes from the Catedral. None. but one , no microwave but it was ok , we don’t need it .
- Sílvia (8/5): Very good -
- Elisabeta (10/5): Wonderful place in the heart of Santiago ❤️ - Wonderful apartament, modern and cool, perfect! I want this apartment to be mine forever! Lovely view, right in the heart of Santiago ❤️❤️❤️we just loved it! First time in Galicia and such a great experience! ❤️
- Carlos (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and comfortable beautiful apartment. We liked everything
- Ashley (10/5): Perfect Location, Excellent Property - Location next to the cathedral was simply perfect. The rooms and kitchen and bathroom were clean and good. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare your own food if desired. The key pickup and dropoff were easy once I understood how it works. Directions to the key pickup point were a little confusing. We ended up having the taxi drop us at the college parking lot, then we called the host for more information and had to walk several blocks to the property. Also, the host was communicating with us using WhatsApp, and I didn't realize that until almost too late.
- Tom (8/5): Santiago is amazing even though it rained all the while we where there, it never took away from the. - Great location, very comfy and clean. The views over the square are amazing. It’s a bit pricy and no breakfast included. I think this is a booking.com thing. Next time I’d go directly to the host.
- Gek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (3/5): a mixed bag - Size - good internet and location of the apartment The lift was a one person lift. The lift did not work on three occasions, and it proved impossible to depend on when you could leave or move your baggage to go to the airport. Each time it was fixed took about and hour. And our departure was early in the morning and if the lift failed we would miss our flight home. You also have to walk up one floor of very uneven steps before you got to the lift. For older people carrying up the bags would be impossible. Fortuanately, when we arrive the manager carryied the bags up - and made an number of promises about how he would help us - and then disappeared never to be seen again. We were forced to check out a day earlier and move to a hotel close to the airport, due to the uncertain lift. The manager did finally call me and offer to help but I had already booked the hotel at the airport.
- Scott (10/5): Ideal! - Upon completing our Camino pilgrimage, this apartment was an outstanding two-night accommodation! Perfect location right on the Camino by the tunnel to watch the processions. Nice apartment layout and well-equipped for cooking. Solid windows to keep the external noise and cold out. Such a wonderful find! Nothing
- Philip (8/5): Great location - Very spacious, clean, modernised interior, wooden floors and fantastic location. This was my third stay at the apartment. Good kitchen facilities. Check in for keys was at Pension just round the corner Unless you are on top floor you can hear the footsteps on the floor above and really everything else. They have not sound proofed the floorings. The beds are adequate and the tvs are older and not web enabled. Opening the doir to the flat was a challenge due to advanced key system
- Rachel (8/5): Ideal for a family to stay and feel at home. - Clise to the cathedral. Self contained with a kitchen. Comfy sofa bed and recently redecorated. There were some minor annoyances such as a very wobble kitchen tap and a cracked mug. Some hooks for coats would be useful.
- Jody (9/5): Superb - Great location. Apartment on the small side but comfortable for two people. Kitchen well equipped for our needs. WiFi good. Good value, would recommend. We didn't need it but it had a washing machine.
- Cristina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Location and view were amazing No elevator- but it was really not that big of a deal
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Cute place clean
Right in center to watch all the action but very busy and loud. Not issue of owner
If you like the party join in Very noisy
Bag pipes non stop
Couch uncomfortable
- Jocelina (10/5): Everything was wonderful except the noise in the evening and early morning. - Everything was very nice!
The host was great. The location was beautiful! The street was somewhat noisy in the early morning and in the evening until 11 PM.
- Jeanne (9/5): Superb -
- Babalola (10/5): Absolutely wonderful , great staff and great property. - The property is perfectly located by the cathedral, you can literally see the cathedral from the windows in all the rooms. Perfect location for visiting Santiago De Compostela The staff were very nice and wonderful. The lady at the reception that gave me the keys went over and above by checking if the property was cleaned and gave me access a good 4 hours before official check-in. This is a good personal touch and consideration as I had just finished the Camino so needed a good shower
- Camila (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (8/5): Quick stop in Santiago… great location, noisy streets (on a Thursday?) - Location…. Awesome! Noisy streets!!! Noisy until 2:20am….
- Roberto (10/5): Exceptional - Very close to the Cathedral. Great side view of the Cathedral. You hear the bagpipes welcoming the Camino pilgrims. Easy check-in and check-out done by a real person who actually cares.
- Monica (8/5): Very good - It's very central, near bars, restaurants and the main attractions The mattresses were not super confortevole but ok for one night
- Chanin (8/5): Very good -
- Trish (4/5): Location was perfect, unfortunately the apartment was disappointing. - Location Not clean, food in the kitchen sink drain , kitchen not clean , didn’t use due to feeling like it wasn’t clean. Sofa in living room smelled bad. Very noisy from above unit. Sounded like elephants lived up stairs. The place needs so tender loving care & deep cleaning & updating.
- Amara (9/5): Great place to stay after the Camino - Fantastic location overlooking the main thoroughfare pilgrims pass as they complete the Camino. Great views. Very central. The windows are triple glazed so it was quiet at night. Bed was comfy. It needed a good clean. The bathroom in particular wasn’t well cleaned.
- Janneke (8/5): Grateful! - Right by the cathedral!
- Asta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (10/5): Great stay after the Camino! - Great location. Close to everything. It was exactly as advertised. Will come back again
- Lenny (9/5): Superb -
- Raul (10/5): The apartment was clean and beautiful. Would definitely recommend to others - Perfectly centered in town
- Gina (10/5): Worth it - Very nice, beautiful location. A special treat after the Camino that does not break the bank Clean and great location
- Franco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angel (10/5): Perfect little apartment in central Santiago - Excellent location, clean, comfortable apartment. Friendly staff Nothing. All was good
