- Zeynep (4/5): - Wir haben für knapp 200 Euro ein Zimmer im Kellergeschoss zu zweit bekommen direkt an den Gleisen (Güterbahn). Kann man sich also vorstellen, wie laut es war und man die Vibrationen spüren konnte. Zudem waren Spinnen im und außerhalb des Zimmers, da Kellergeschoss vorhanden (Spinnenphobie). Auf Hinweis darauf, dass ich eine Spinnenphobie habe und ein anderes Zimmer in den höheren Etagen bekommen könnte, hat es geheißen, dass das Hotel ausgebucht ist und sie nichts tun können. Gepaart mit den Gleisen, das unbequeme Bett und der Angst vor Spinnen war es eine grausige Nacht in der ich kein Auge zubekommen habe.

The hotel itself is adequate, although finding the parking garage is not straight-forward (the hotel personnel was helpful enough to find it, though) and although the city center is walkable, it's not super close. Since we were there on a holiday, many things were closed the next day, so we moved on to our next destination around noon.

Die Zimmer sind teuer und dermassen minimal eingerichtet, kein Schrank, kein Minibar, keine Gläser, nicht mal eine Fernbedienung für das TV, winzig klein und das zu einem stattlichen Preis. das sogenannte Comfort Zimmer hat keinen Comfort, Bett war ok, Personal freundlich und Kafee und Tee zur Verfügung. - Juli (10/5): - This was the last of 5 hotels we stayed in on our 18 day holiday travel and it was by far the best one! We were at Ibis Styles Tübingen for 4 nights. My daughter and I had a room with two twin beds on the 6th floor. The elevators were smooth & very nice. I loved that the room had a bigger bathroom with a bigger shower & good counter space compared to the other hotels we stayed in. The room had places to lay our open luggage on for convenience and the beds were comfortable. All charging outlets were easy to get to & conveniently located. The whole place felt very clean… not only inside the bedroom but in the hallways and all the public areas. We didn’t use the television so I can’t comment on that. I would definitely stay here again & recommend it to others.

- Sibylle (10/5): Cute and clean hotel - This is a basic hotel, no room service or phone in the room, but really clean and well organized. Staff was friendly, breakfast was diverse and good, coffee and tea available all day. You do have to pay €19 euro per day for parking which was not clear on the listing. Location wise it is walking distance to the center. Overall we felt comfortable and would stay again.

There is no wardrobe, only hooks for three hangers.... ...no complementary water in the rooms, and the breakfast is ok but nothing to write home about. All this would seem acceptable if the rates were appropriate, but they are overextended in our view.

They let me check in early and store my luggage after check out, and one of the receptionists even helped me translate something from German. The restaurant/pub attached to the hotel is also very good. The only thing that was strange was that one of the staff members banged on my door at 6:30am continuously until I got up and responded. She said "wake up call." I meant to ask if they had made a mistake with the room number or if it was because I didn't put the "do not disturb" sign up (but 6:30 is really early.) Other than that, overall a pleasant stay

- Gerhard (8/5): Newer Ibis Hotel - Overall a good place to spend a couple of nights. Our room was small and clean and have all the basic amenities you’d expect in this price category. Onsite parking is limited but there are parking garages for fees within walking distance. Breakfast buffet is good and service is friendly. Train station and city center a 10 min walk.

- Tim (10/5): Clean, modern and comfortable hotel near old town. - A one night stay in Tubingen to explore the local sights. The hotel is a five minute walk from the old city, which is fascinating. Comfortable room with a good bed, view of the river from our window. Also an excellent breakfast offered in the morning.
