Guest Reviews
- Isabelle (9/5): Good location, family run. - Close to the harbour and to town, easy to park.
- Stephen (9/5): - Owner stayed up for us following a late ferry. Hotel is old BUT extremely clean and facilities in good order.
Staff are excellent. Good position. Closest hotel to the ferry dock and short walk to cafes and restaurants. Secluded beach nearby. Nothing. Would stay again

- Sebastian (9/5): - Sehr gute Lage und sehr freundliche Inhaber

Aria condizionata funziona bene!
Abbiamo pagato 52€ a notte in 4.

- Eirini (6/5): barely satisfactory - The hotel staff was nice. The location was nice, quiet, and a few minutes wald to the city centre. The little balcony was overlooking at the sea front, at the little port. There was airconditioning that worked and made my stay in the room bearable due to the heat. of July. The littel fridge was also useful. The bed linen was clean, and so were the towels. The price was lower than other hotels around. The place was old and didn't seem renovated. There was a shower, but without any barrier or shower curtains so all the water overflew on the bathroom floor. The water from the sink was also spilling water around. The bed was not too comfortable, since you could feel the springs of the mattress, however, I could manage to sleep satisfactory.
- Constantina (10/5): Excellent location and amazing balcony views. - The staff, the location and the amazing balcony view.
- J5 (9/5): Superb - The hotel is family run and is in a quiet location.
The rooms are very quiet and overlook the harbour. It is about a ten minute walk to the main resort. There is a small beach nearby, but the main town beach is about fifteen minutes walk. Nothing really.
- Holloway (6/5): Pleasant - Fantastic view from balcony AC temperamental
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (8/5): The family hosts are excellent, and would recommend this apartment because of their very gracious efforts - Wonderful family interaction, and very kind to us.
The room was quite basic, as one would expect from a hotel room.
An easy walk into town for meals, and close to the ferry.
We felt very welcome, and would stay there again 🙂 The shower could use a curtain or walls. Possibly some basic ingredients to make a coffee, and the bed is a bit stiff
- Antony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Boaz (9/5): Superb - Nora is so nice! The place is simple and affordable, and quite close to a whole bunch of taverns and shops. The facilities are basic, and the rooms are clean :)
- Natale (2/5): Very poor -
- Ursula (5/5): Passable -
- Elaine (10/5): Quaint lovely little hotel in beautiful Sitia. - Typical small greek hotel. Nora spoke no English but was lovely & helpful. Great position for catching ferries. Clean & full of character. nothing
- Philip (7/5): Good - Lovely view of the bay. Convenient taverna nearby. My hostess was friendly and solicitous. I had everything I needed. The walk back into the centre along by the docking area/ harbour was very pleasant. I was a little further out than I expected. I missed having a kettle as I did in Heraklion. My hostess spoke no English, which was interesting to say the least! Mind you, I am trying to learn some Greek, and this certainly was an opportunity to do so!
- Moutakis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (8/5): Very good - Very recommended for price/value! There's an amazing view on the port and Nora is a lovely lady that makes you feel welcomed in a very local experience. Perfect position. We reccommend the restaurant Nato close to the hotel. Missing shampoo and shower gel.

- Kathryn (10/5): Glad the Nora hotel was waiting for me after a very late ferry arrival. - Location is great. My ferry arrived at midnight and the hotel is a two minute walk from the port.
The rooms are nice, good ac. Shower was Greek-style, hand held and no curtain. No one spoke English. Neither a problem for me, but could be for other guests.
- Heidi (10/5): Heidi - Lovely place with a nice view and very friendly people welcoming us. Clean and comfortable
- Eirini (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (10/5): A good base for exploring - Very clean, and quiet, and the ladies gave me a little cake! I thought it was going to be miles from the centre but in fact it’s really close, 5 minutes walk to centre, maybe 10 minutes to the Archaeological museum
- Bianca (8/5): great affordable stay - great affordable stay right net to the port which is what we were after. Clean and functional...next door to a lovely traditional taverna. would have been nice to have access to a washing machine
- Allan (8/5): Very good -
- Molly (8/5): Great location for early ferry departure. - The place is basic but very clean. Right by the port so perfect for an early morning ferry departure. 10 mins walk to all the cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. Nothing.
- Tim (9/5): We enjoyed walking into town for our meals. Hosts were very nice - It was open in the winter Nothing
- Mark (8/5): Good option for a stay in Sitia,if you don't mind walking, and don't get the sheets dirty. - Nice family run Guesthouse on the edge of town overlooking the small Port with views of the arriving and departing ferries. If using the ferry it's a perfect destination.Comfortable, clean, spacious room with nice balcony view.Reasonably priced. A long hot walk from the Bus station on the other side of town. After Gorge hiking and swimming I got the sheets dirty, and after that I was given the 'evil eye' until I left by the old lady who watched over the place.Only the Manager/Owner spoke English and he was only there at weekends.
- Tal (10/5): Exceptional - It is very close to the fairy. We arrived at the middle of the night so it was perfect for us. The room was clean and they welcome us with a smile foer us it porfect It was pretty old
- Sailtrotter (5/5): cheap and convenient to get a cab in the morning for the airport - Closest cheapest thing to the airport, for one night it is ok. The Ants in my room did not contribute

- Chrrysanthi (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (9/5): Comfortable, convenient stay steps away from the ferry dock - Left too early for breakfast to catch the ferry. All fine.

- Valerie (7/5): Good - After a long g ferry ride this was a very short walk from the ferry dock. Value for the money was perfect and host was very helpful. We walked to the bus terminal in the morning which was 20 minutes away.
- Marko (5/5): Passable - We had to get the ship the very next day early in the morning so the location was perfect since it is located just outside of the port It is quite old. Beds are not comfortable. Shower and bathroom in general is very small.
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant stay in Sitia - Clean Too hard mattresses
- Richard (9/5): Superb - Absolutely brilliant for the price.
Fantastic location if you have a ferry to catch - right opposite the port; I sat looking out from my balcony waiting to catch sight of the ferry on the horizon, while other poor souls fried on the hard.
Not far to walk to town.
Very pleasant Greek owners. En suite a little cramped, but no complaints from me.
- Gabriela (5/5): Passable -
- Annalaila (10/5): Restful, peaceful, warm welcome. - oh my goodness thank goodness for lovely Catarina who is the most welcoming human on the planet, So warm and welcoming after our late arrival from the ferry considering we don't speak a word of Greek, her lovely smile and kind eyes made us feel at peace. This is a fab little stopover hotel right next to the port. We stayed an extra night to catch up on a well-needed rest from traveling. There is a fridge in the room super handy and the view onto the empty port, the mountains and the open sky was an absolute blessing after a seven-hour boat trip Great location very peaceful.

- Beth (8/5): Relaxed sea view stay - We were upgraded to sea view room. Washing line and pegs provided useful for drying wet swimsuit etc. Easy parking outside on the street. A friendly, helpful family run business. Rooms are spacious, clean and inviting. I don't want to leave its a gem.

- Chavis (10/5): Convenient to the port. - This place is literally right outside the gate for the port, so I walked off my boat and was in the bed for a nap within 10 minutes. The staff is quite friendly, but they don't speak English, so be prepared for some gesture based communication. It's a little bit of a walk to the city center, but not bad. Under 10 minutes.
- Meicen (10/5): Good - Yes
