- Paavola (9/5): - Oma rauha ja sijainti rauhallinen. Siisti majoitus ja riittoisa aamiaistarjoilu. Hieman kaukana rannasta ja keskustasta. Kyllähän alamäkeä rantaan kävelee helposti mutta aina takaisin päin jyrkkää ylämäkeä. Mökki hieman kostean oloinen kokoajan. Surffipäivien jälkeen vaatteita ei meinannut saada kunnolla kuivaksi seuraavalle päivälle, mutta ei kuitenkaan isoja miinuksia nämä 🤗

- Aylward (9/5): Loved it! Great place to stay, very funky and homely! My kind of stay! - Size of the bungalow, very spacious. The self check in, although I had to message them on arrival as the info had not come through to me earlier. Has yoga and SUP as extras Has a kitchenette, could easily cook at the bungalow. Doesn’t have all top extra amenities like washing machine and coffee. But overall, there is nothing we didn’t like.
- Arabella (1/5): Terrible owners do not stay at the place. Loud barking dogs and terrible mosquitoes. Broken items that the owners want t - The location The staff were so rude unhelpful and unfriendly. There was no sheet on the bed for 6 nights. The air con was broken for first 6 nights and we were bitten so badly by mosquitoes as we had to leave the windows open. The blinds and chair were broken. The staff refused to help or acknowledge the broken air con and refused to refund half the cost of the first 6 nights despite not being able to sleep because of terrible mosquitoes. Staff refuse to even put the sheet on the bed despite asking several times. Do not stay at this place the owners are not nice. We have had many wonderful stays at places all over Ericeira this was the worst and I would never recommend or come anywhere near this place int he future.

- Freek (2/5): Unhealthy place to stay because of the strong smell of molt and high humidity. - First off all the smell of molt and the high humidity. Somewhere in the cabin is molt, probably behind wooden panels or behind closets. It’s very unhealthy to stay in these kind of places and we’re happy we did not stay long. I cannot believe people call this a villa. It’s a wooden cabin without luxury in somebodies back yard. It’s also not similar as Glamping because it is not in nature but in a residential area. Second it is far from the beach located on a steep hill. Also it is far from the town centre. Only contact with the property’s manager via sms. You pay extra for almost everything. There is no basic supplies for cooking and not even more then one coffee bag. To summarise , it’s an unhealthy place that is severely overpriced.

- Jennifer (1/5): Warning- Read past the good reviews at the top - Absolutely nothing was good - the beds had sheets like a kids bed. The beds were mushy. The bathroom smelled terrible. It is like a cheap hostel with mold. The room was very humid and had mold and a very moldy smell. We complained right away. They just kept saying we didn’t know what we were talking about and would not let us out of the reservation and said we needed to contact Booking.com, which we did, and they told booking.com they would not let us out. It went on and on with them lying and blaming Booking.com. I looked up their Google reviews which are horrible and filled with people that had similar bad experiences. Honestly read through the reviews for yourself and look it up on other platforms before you get stuck in the situation we did. It is run by horrible people who apparently spy on guests through their cameras.
- Nesrin (6/5): Not welcoming - Room was nice, beds were comfy, kitchenette was useful Check-in is a hassle. They don't have a proper front desk, lots of writing back and forth to get check-in instructions. The biggest problem was that they didn't allow leaving luggages before check-in, which is at 3 pm, so we had to change our travel arrangements and loose half a day of our short trip. On the way back, we found a hotel in the city that was super nice to keep our luggagges. Neighboring house has a few barking dogs. They bark every single time going in and out, our kid wasn't happy with that. They gave us 2 rolls of toilet paper and 2 trashbags for 3 nights, there is no way of getting more from them. Also, it is far from everything. You need to arrange your private transportation.

- Mary (7/5): Pleasant stay but Ericeira is a younger persons resort. - The property was quiet and well kept. We did not meet anybody from management to ask about recycling. The housekeeping staff were friendly but spoke no English to ask them. I was separating rubbish but soon realised that it was all being dumped in one big bin so brought plastics and bottles with me to place in Municipal bins when going to beach or town I could walk down the hill to the beach but struggled with the walk back up. People younger than me also struggled. Taxis were slow to arrive and none were available at the taxi rank in the town at any time we went there.
- Benine (8/5): Qiuet location and good comfort and fun tiny houses - Location, it is in the middle of a residential area, but once you’re on the property you feel like you’re on a mini glamping. Only 5 or 6 tiny houses, with enough privacy I had to get used that there was no personel seen on property, but they were very easy to reach and quick via what’s app.
- Rua (5/5): Bad management policies but a beautiful place - Beautiful grounds & the villas were very nice. The management seem to have a policy of setting ridiculous rules & not paying attention to whether the guest is enjoying their stay. They wouldn’t let us park in their car park before check in, so we had to park on the busy road outside by the bins and unpack and sort through our luggage there & then leave the luggage in the car for the day (we weren’t available to check in til later that night). All they had to do was open the gate for us but they refused as it was not yet 3pm. They hassled me for €30 cash as a dog levy despite me telling them on text beforehand I had a dog with me & they didn’t mention the charge then. They kept saying it was listed on booking but I still can’t find where it says there’s a levy, I guess it’s hidden in the small print somewhere. It just says ‘Pet Friendly’ on booking so I assumed they were actually friendly towards pets & didn’t tax them (it’s not like they provided a dog bed or food bowl etc for the dog once I paid the €30). They must have text me 10 WhatsApp’s about it, they knocked on our door & they even had booking.com call me, just to get the €30 cash. There’s also nothing at all provided in the villas, no shower gel, bottled water, etc & they’re no shops nearby. A little bit more care for guests & less worrying about rigid rules would go a long way here as it’s is actually a beautiful place.

- Hanna (8/5): Great little holiday site - The Golden Heritage site was just getting up and running for the Summer when we stayed. The pool was newly cleaned and we had it to ourselves, which was great. The site is run by a friendly father/daughter team, who welcomed us warmly even when we turned up without booking ahead. The new 'log cabin' style houses and onsite shop have great potential - we had a peek preview! The site is a (somewhat hilly) ten minute walk from the town and beach.
