• Spyridon (4/5): Very basic. - Location. Near station and high street. Mattress was by far the worst I have ever slept on which is kind of the point of a hotel room. Tap in bathroom moved all over the place, window was hard to close once opened and not sure the carpet in the hallway/stairs has ever been cleaned. The parking i was asked to pay for was such an awkward angle that I had to scrape my alloys to fit it in resulting in a £400 repair now needed.

Hard to find even on a busy noisy road..behind a busy noisy pub.In reception I could hear a resident shouting and screaming on a phone..in a dark alley next door .about waiting for his social money and trying to get clean from drugs... I have travelled the world for over 50 years and never felt so unsafe or treated so badly. At reception I was asked for photo id which i had on phone.. passport and driving lisence .but not accepted.. In the small print they also wanted £50 cash in case of damages..maybe a regular occurance here?I felt handing this over I wouldnt get it returned. Booked for 2 nights no apology no refunds..i had to sleep next to the busy A1 in my works van for 2 nights... The place was hard to find also reception felt unprofessional seedy and dirty...With the receptionist sitting on a dirty chair smiling smugly...just kept saying not my problem these are my bosses rules... If thats your thing then its perfect. In my opinion the dodgiest establishment i have ever encountered ..just got back from travelling in india for 2 months..and nothing came close to this place. An expensive mistake.. They actually cancelled my second night saying I didnt show up.....booking .com should invesigate or have standards...No female I would recommend trying to stay here..

• Lyn (3/5): Extremely small room I would have paid more to stay somewhere else had there been somewhere else. - I arrived very late due to traffic issues on the motorways that evening so was really grateful when there was still someone there to let me in when I arrived, I thought I might have been sleeping in my car. Despite the room being extremely small, it was obvious that the owners had tried to make it as comfortable as possible with a small fridge, tea/coffee service(broken kettle), shampoo conditioner and soap in shower almost like a proper hotel. The linens were fresh and the towels clean. The place is difficult to find, its not on the high street as indicated by the photos its around the back. The room was extremely small, couldnt swing a cat, I am 6 feet tall with a moderate build and I could hardly turn around in the room especially once I had a case in there. The room size made me think of what a prison cell might be like. The other issue was that the room was up on the second floor, I have bad Rt knee and there was 2 flights of stairs the second of which was steep and extremely narrow to the point that my standard size case just about fitted across it. Although the owners had tried to make the room comfortable, the small fridge was a hinderance I had issues getting passed it and the kettle didnt work so Tea/coffee service was useless, so I took the coffee sugar and milk sachets with me to make a morning coffee somewhere I could find hot water, luckily where I was going had a pot of coffee on when I arrived so I got my morning coffee anyway. I couln't access the wifi, needed a code which I had neglected to ask for before the owner left for the night.

They saved me a parking space and allowed me to drop my car off before check in as me and my day were going into London to watch a show. Lots of tea, coffee, milk and sugar in the room and bottled water. Normally at hotels you have to ask for more ! Clean comfy bed. Good for the price

• Nicholas (8/5): Basic and a bit dated but very clean with friendly staff. I would stay again for the price - Very friendly staff and room was very clean. Stayed in a single room and would recommend to other solo workers/travellers. A fridge in the room was a bonus too and I had fresh towels everyday. There’s a bit of outside noise at night and there was a floodlight which lit up a fair bit outside my window but didn’t lesson my experience, I would stay again.

Ook voor parkeren hoefde we niet te betalen omdat we later aankwamen en 's ochtends alweer vetrokken. Top ! -

Had issues in office being closed when giving back key, only after a while a ringing doorbell that was hard to find was it opened remotely. No black out blinds, was awaken by light very early in the morning.

• B (10/5): A lovely place to stay with exceptional service! Hotel manager, Tom, was lovely. - This was an amazing place to stay at. The manager, Tom, was so accommodating and lovely. The staff here are amazing. The housekeeping services are also exceptional. The inn is located in a great place with a variety of food places nearby. The room was cosy and lovely. Tom really made my stay better. He was really friendly. This is definitely a place I would return to and would 100% recommend. I loved it so much that I even extended my stay.

• Janine (5/5): - It's in a good location, the person on reception was very friendly. The room was basic but was as expected from the pictures and at a decent price for fairly short notice booking.. There was no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom, which is tricky when 2 people are trying to get ready.. The bed had springs and seemed old, every time my partner got up for the loo I was bounced awake. The lock on the room didnt seem very secure.
