• shubhendu (9/5): Excellent property with fantastic views. - Excellent, the property is located in the heart of Fira, has an elevated area with a hot tub where we watched the sunset, the views from the property are amazing. The beds were comfortable, we were 7 adults and stayed very comfortably. Reta the property Manager was very helpful, she arranged for porter for us and car service for a day tour. We had an excellent experience staying here. There are a few steps to manage to get to the property from the taxi drop off point, may need porter if one has heavy luggage.

Absolute highlight is the rooftop balcony with spa pool. In my option the view was the best!! Not only of the sunset but looking up and across all the villas in the cliff. Reta (host) was so lovely and helpful with transfers and information. Loved our stay very much The stairs up the balcony are little scary. Would be tricky for small children, elderly and those who have had a few drinks.

The caretaker was very helpful and she let us stay the entire afternoon because we had a late night flight and they didn’t have a booking for that evening. This is a very rare gesture. We are grateful. The air cooler in the oval room was leaking. The villa seemed a little cramped for our group. There were only two washrooms for a 8 person villa which was insufficient.

• Yingying (4/5): Not valued, don’t have the expectation as the photos presented to you. The host is money driven - It’s unique design sitting in the heart of Fira. The photos are way too good compared to the reality. It’s old, lots of hazard. The floor tiles are extremely slippery especially when it’s wet. The host was nice at the first meet. He asked for payment in cash in advanced. We paid in full for pick up and drop off. We agreed the time of dropping off to the airport. The next day, he decided to send us to the airport 1.5 hr earlier only for his convenience. He said it’s not his fault and he claimed his manager was responsible for this inconvenience. While he dropped us off to the airport, he had another 2 customers on the van while we have 6 people. Our son has no where to sit. He had to sit on the lap. 8 passengers in total for 7 sits. It’s risk, significant safety of concern.

• Sharon (10/5): Stunning place, Amazing villa location, would definitely return - Reta was so friendly and helpful, the villa was very clean and in the best location for the views and close to all amenities. The steps up to the balcony with the hot tub were very steep and had a sheer drop that you have to be extremely careful not to fall. There were a couple of handles but a rail along the edge if possible would be safer.

The layout of the Villa, it’s location, the beautiful rooftop cabana with plunge pool, the incredibly indoor hottub, the quiet setting just steps away from Fira and the amazing service provided by our host Reta were all just extraordinary. You will treasure memories made in blue angel Villa! It is simply an amazing and magical place.

• Irina (10/5): Great choice - The view is fantastic! Especially from jacuzzi on the upper terrace. The villa is big enough to host a family of 4 people or even more, well maintained and cosy. There is also a jacuzzi inside. Both are heated so we could use them in March. Very private property but also close to everything you need: sights, restaurants, etc. Just amazing! Rather expensive Could be difficult with small kids because of the stairs

Loved everything about the property but was very disappointed that the roof hot tub did not work. That was an important part for me and although the staff tried to help, it did not get fixed until the morning we checked out 🙁

• Justin (9/5): Superb - We were greeted by Brigitte on arrival who was very helpful/friendly and informative! She checked in with us throughout the stay to make sure everything was perfect. The breakfast was amazing and the location (and the view) couldn't be better - right in the middle of all the action! The villa was also probably the most unique place we've ever stayed. Unforgettable experience! Although the stay was comfortable, the master bedroom was a bit damp with the hot tub in the back of the room despite the air conditioning and the upstairs loft was also a bit warm for anyone sleeping there, but not a dealbreaker by any means considering the type of villa.

The host Brigette was super helpful! The hot tub area was amazing with the most incredible views! Brigette recommended the restaurant Borolo for dinner. The food was nice but unfortunately the service was terrible. Not sure if that was because we were on the lower level of the restaurants (it spreads over about 5 levels) or because we had a large group. Having the second bathroom as an ensuite was a bit inconvenient for our group of 9. The stairs to the hot tub are narrow and steep - didn't worry us but could be difficult for some.

• Kraemer (10/5): An unforgettable stay in Fira with an incredible view, close walk to everything, style and comfort!! - The location was incredibly near all the main streets of Fira, and the walk to the Cable Car was basically a straight line from where the Villa is! It was still tucked away with an amazing view, but didn't require a very long walk with heavy suitcases. There was only one set of stairs to tackle, and every other point in the path was a smooth slope! Plus, the host helped us arrange transport and also agreed to let us leave our bags in the entryway after check-out which is above-and-beyond fantastic service! Spend every single night going between both indoor and outdoor spa tubs, you will not regret it. The place was PERFECT. The *only* thing that could have been better is the consistency of the wifi, but the host was very clear about how to troubleshoot the wifi when it cuts in and out! I love transparency like that from hosts! Also, being on an island, I'm sure that's going to be true of all Villas in Santorini!

Brigitte our host couldn’t have been lovelier or kinder. thank you so much Brigitte . we were a little over ambitious in trying to make the trip work with a 2 year old. the property doesn’t work for a 2 year who wants to climb . just not relaxing trying to mind a toddler on the balcony. no fault of the property, just not compatible ( but I’d say that’s the case for many properties in firs and oia).

They had everything you needed, including big trays to carry breakfast up to the veranda. The views are breathtaking and you can watch the sun set from the roof. There was also a lovely cabana on the roof to cosy up in. The hot tub/ jacuzzi in the bedroom was fantastic with powerful jets. Perfect candles everywhere, with lighters! Lots of fresh towels and comfy robes. Location of this villa was also perfect. It was near a church and Hotel, with parking space. The parking was usually full, even in low season as it is a popular spot for scenic lookout. But we could usually find a corner to park our small car. The villa is a short walk down a flight of stairs. It’s not too hard or far a climb up to all the shops and restaurants too. The lady who took care of the place, greeted us personally and took care of all housekeeping while we were there. She organised airport transport and porter for our luggage. She also came to send us off. It added a personal touch. The hot tub/ jacuzzi on the roof was closed in winter! This would have completed the experience and been the cherry on the cake. It was sunny while we were there, even if it was cold. The weather was actually great to soak in a hot tub.

• Kershia (10/5): Loved every minute of it! - We had an amazing time at Blue Angel Villa, Brigitte welcomed us at the villa and was very courteous. Everything was just lovely the property is not too far down the caldera making it easy to get to and from where the cars drop you off. Breakfast was great and was always in abundance. Highly recommended for the hospitality and the view of the sunset/ caldera! I think there could have been more blankets only during the month of October because it gets quite chilly in the evening but that wasn't a big deal. It was more than enough but maybe some for the bed outside.
• Alexa (10/5): You won't regret booking this place! - Our stay at the Blue Angel Villa was absolutely incredible. We had a family of 8 - 6 adults, 2 children - and there was plenty of room for all; although, we didn't spend much time inside anyway. The hosts have a wonderful property manager, Brigitte, who met us to drop off our baggage and arranged porters to help with our luggage, as well as private transports from both the port and airport. There was a daily cleaning service, which was greatly appreciated with our large group, as garbages filled up and towels ran out quickly. The home was also stocked with plenty of drinking water and even bottles of wine in the fridge. The property itself is so unique and fun. Bright teal tiles, stained glass, and white walls throughout - everything you hope for in a famous Santorini cave house. The kitchen was a bit small, but was surprisingly well-stocked for its size. The rooftop was so amazing, and we spent hours and hours up there taking in the views while the kids played around in the plunge pool and the adults sampled the local wine. The outdoor space is not overly large, but there was plenty of room for playing around in the pool and seating for us all to fit and watch the sunset. Those sunset views, though, WOW! The property is in a perfect location. We were there in late September, so we missed the major summer crowds, but we didn't feel like there was too much foot traffic passing the property, and we didn't feel like we were completely on top of the neighbors. A quick walk up the steps put you right in the middle of all the action in Fira, with some of the most highly rated restaurants in the area less than a 5 minute walk. Endless shopping available nearby, as well. The internet wasn't always the most reliable, especially with 8 people trying to connect, but overall it served it's purpose. The loft bedroom didn't have great covering on the windows to block the nighttime outdoor light and morning light coming in. There could be more shading on the rooftop - even though we were there late September, it got HOT up there, so I can't even imagine what it's like during the peak summer months. The beds were not the most comfortable, so updated mattresses or pillow tops could be helpful.

Mrs. Bridgette was so welcoming and greeted us with fruits and wine. She helped us with all the boat and airport transfers and always made herself available for any questions we had. We enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend this place to families or couples. Can’t wait to return.
