• Angela (10/5): We loved this place and would return to it on another visit to Ypres. - Very very clean little family run hotel. Extremely helpful in an emergency situation, very kind and caring. Access to town centre very easy. Good breakfast choices too. Visitors should be aware no receptionist after 7.30 pm. Worked for us though.

• Andrew (10/5): Ypres , beer and tyres. - Street parking for motorcycles but felt safe. When I arrived with a flat tyre they helped me so much. Relaxe6d attitude brought my tension down quickly. Good location to walk Ypres. Getting a flat tyre ! But I got to see more of Ypres and more beer.

• Cherie (10/5): This is a gem! - This is a family run, boutique style hotel and Vincent, Iwona and Pebbles welcome you as one of the family. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and have just what you need when staying in Ieper. It is close to all central Ieper attractions and while there is no adjacent parking, the instructions for finding parking are excellent. The morning breakfast always served with a smile. Just a note, you will get a good stair workout if you have a room on the top floor.

The cook-to-order breakfast from the helpful and friendly owners and staff hit the spot. Our belfry room was interesting with low sloping ceilings but just fine for a father and son out to see the history of the Ypres Salient.

Naast de verse bolletjes, croissant, jus d'orange. Prima bedden, alles schoon en netjes. Kamer was iets kleiner dan ik had verwacht maar geen enkel probleem. Prima bed, kast, tafeltje met stoel en keurige badkamer.

• Candice (9/5): Lovely welcoming hotel - Staff were so helpful. It’s a friendly place with lots of ‘regulars’. It felt a really safe space to stay (woman and daughter travelling). They even helped me work out how to use the parking machine when I got overwhelmed. Breakfast lovely. I’ll definitely stay here again when we next visit Ypres.

• Pérez (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Ambrosia Hotel in Ypres! The room was incredibly nice and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day out. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to start the day right. A special mention to the receptionist, who was so welcoming and always had a warm smile and great attitude—it really made a difference. The location is also perfect, just a short walk to the town center. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!

No kettle in the room so had to use hot water from a vending machine to make tea

• Ronald (10/5): Excellent hotel in and ideal location. - We have stayed at the Ambrosia on many times over the years. It is in an ideal location in Ypres, just off the main square and 5 mins from the Menin Gate Memorial. The rooms are very clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast is good with a varied choice. The owners Vincent and Iwone are the perfect hosts, very friendly, speaking good English and able to offer good advice and tips on sites of interest and local restaurants. Their close associate, pebbles, works hard and does a good job supporting the running of the hotel. Parking is a problem, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

Ieper is een mooie stad zijn er nu al paar jaar geweest en verveelt geen moment. Hebben nu alweer een optie geboekt voor volgend jaar Ontbijt is uitgebreid en wat wij erg waarderen is het persoonlijke praatje, je bent er zeker geen nummer maar ze zijn ook zeker niet opdringerig De kamer was bij binnenkomst vrij warm maar ja is dat tegenvallen zeker niet
