saffron (10/5): Chill! - Great locations. Morning walks on the beach - yes please! Love the evening family dinner, never had that experience in a hostel before and after a long day it was very much appreciated. Lovely rooftop space to also crack open the laptop and do a little work! No issues.

Carney (10/5): A true social hostel - Loved how social it was, how straight away we were invited to join the conversations by the volunteers working there, the communal dinner. Nice location and parking too! There was mold in one room but we were given a different room, no hassle or problem.

Julia (9/5): Amazing stay in Colombo - Everything in this hostel is incredible. The rooftop is super chill, the pool is nice and there are a ton of places to hang out. It’s right across from the beach and you can even see the water to watch the sunset. They provide a free dinner every night, which was delicious, and the breakfast was also super fresh. We’ll definitely stay here again if we need accommodation when leaving Sri Lanka. The top bunk beds in the dorm are a bit difficult to get into, especially if you’re short. If you have any mobility issues make sure you request a bottom bunk or book a private room here.

Delfina (9/5): Un hostel para hacer amigos - El personal ha sido genial y gracias a la cena que organizan en el hostel hemos podido compartir todos los que estabamos allí y me llevo algunas amistades :). Están en obras y en ningún lado lo comentan. Lo cual es una pena porque reserve en parte por el espacio exterior que tenían y la piscina y no pude hacer uso de ello. La piscina está abierta pero es un poco complicado el espacio que hay para usar.

Calvin (10/5): Friends, adventures… Basic rooms, perfect location to see a different side of Colombo - this place is wonderful! And you're gonna meet so many nice people here. Every night we have dinner together. In the morning, make your coffee and sit on the rooftop. At first, you might find this area of the city boring… But after a day or two of walking around, you'll see a really fascinating and striking charm that many miss when they visit Colombo. This is not a party area, this is something else, and I think when you walk the hundreds of narrow alleys, and check out the little tiny cafés… You'll find that Colombo is a place to visit by itself, not just a place to catch a train to some other town in Sri Lanka I didn't really like the pool area, for some reason there were a lot of mosquitoes. The staff really worked hard to prevent the mosquitoes… But I don't know where they were coming from!

Duyen (9/5): Superb - It’s a very chill hostel but you still can connect with very nice travelers as they have nice and spacious common areas which are very nice and a lot of greens. When I was there they organized a vegetarian family dinner and it was very nice time to meet other people and shared good local food. All of the staff are very nice and helpful, they have a very sweet cat, you can find her on the lovely rooftop where comfy chairs or do yoga in the morning. The room with AC and fan, locker provided and clean toilet in the female dorm. I like it there, will definitely come back if I am in Colombo 👍 The mattress wasn’t good 😔😅 but in general other experience can make it up already

The staff had mixed up a booking where as a boy slept in the Girls dorm. The staff looked clueless. There was a big dead rat in the dining area but staff wasn't bothered to clean.

Everyone staying here was great also and was a good place to make friends to continue travelling with or to meet along the way in Sri Lanka! The dinner they make each night is also delicious and free.

We had an en-suite room which was large and clean. Whilst travelling as a couple seemed a really good choice for single travellers. Plenty of shared space to mix or find quiet and a pool…..
Tracy (9/5): Superb - Excellent location just a few minutes walk to the beach. Shared use of kitchen. The staff provide an evening family meal for free. You can purchase food and drinks. AC Rooms cleaned daily. You can only use the AC late at night until early morning (which I completely understand) although when I did ask to pop it in early one evening they said yes.

A good first stop to start your travels, as you will def meet other travellers going the same direction. Good and warm shower. There’s free water and tea/ coffee, a fridge and you can use the kitchen to cook breakfast. There’s free dinner included (vegan curry and rice). The matras was a bit uncomfortable (sagged).

The staff is incredibly friendly, and everyone is having such a good time everywhere, you literally don't need to leave the hostel to have fun. It is very close to the beach, which is not crowded at all. The free vegan dinners 3 days a week are also amazing, so was the karaoke night! I didn't want to leave...
Arkadiy (4/5): Place has a lot of potential just needs more love! - Its good located. 2mim walking to the beach. Room and whole hostel wasn’t as clean. We booked a private room and the warm water wasn’t working. Had the feeling staff didn’t care at all. The pool is dirty and the rooftop terrace is bit wasted. The neighbors been burning trash both of the days we been staying there. The smoke filled our room even with closed windows.. our room was on the ground floor and until 11pm it was very loud.. room is zero soundproof! There was breakfast but its not good.
