Der Pool ist im Verhältnis zu den anderen Hotels groß und war sehr schön angelegt. Die Klimaanlagen in der Anlage kühlen nicht wirklich, in der Nacht hatte es noch 26 Grad im Zimmer. Das Personal hatte uns dann noch zusätzlich einen Ventilator gebracht.

• Michael (10/5): Wir haben es sehr genossen und würden es wieder auswählen - Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Die Auswahl ist zwar klein, aber alles von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht, besonders der manager Davide. Das angebotene optionale abendessen war eher schlecht wurde uns aber nicht berechnet, auch der gute wein nicht. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannend, man fühlt sich wie zuhause und es gibt viel privacy. Der pool ist 24h offen-toll! Das angebotene abendessen war zwei mal nicht gut, produkte ( Fisch/Fleisch) waren nicht frisch.

We ate in a dinner in last evening in restaurant and it was just amazing, best food during the Sicily trip. Amazing pool with beautiful surroundings. Overall the place, the owner and whole stay was unforgettable. In a room it was normal "hotel" room, with a little need of some renowation.

• Holly (9/5): Luxurious relaxing stay - This hotel is beautifully designed, very chic, perfect for a quiet / romantic stay. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable and spacious. Pool is incredible and the complimentary welcome massage and added bonus! Staff were all very friendly, especially Davide on reception. There are two great restaurants within walking distance ! For a hotel of this calibre would expect complimentary water on arrival in the rooms as well as towels changed daily.

• Tania (8/5): Beautiful place to stay in great location. - The location was great. In the country but only a few minutes from Noto. The staff were very friendly and helpful- particularly Gianluca on reception. Luigi and Alissia, the owners, gave wonderful advice on good restaurants, an exquisite rooftop bar and places to visit. The pool area was beautiful and it was lovely having breakfast overlooking an olive grove. Our room was very spacious with a lovely outside space as well. The beach on the local nature reserve is only a few minutes away and the staff are happy to take you on the golf buggy and lend a beach umbrella- great! Loved visiting Noto, the wonderful gorge at Cava Grande di Cantabile for stunning views and crystal clear river swimming, and Marzamemi for a fabulous evening meal over the sea! The air conditioning in our room was not very effective.

A short drive from both the bustling village of Noto and the beautiful beaches/ beach clubs. Farm to table food was delicious and served warmly by the chef and staff. Wonderful, helpful, engaging owners, managers and staff !
• Ginevra (10/5): A wonderful stay - Zahir Country House is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They are attentive and truly go out of their way to ensure guests have an amazing stay. The rooms are lovely, combining traditional charm with modern comforts. Each room is uniquely decorated with beautiful artwork, adding a special touch. The food here is excellent, offering delicious, locally-sourced dishes that really highlight the flavors of the region. One of the highlights for me was the stunning pool. It’s the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun, surrounded by the serene countryside. In the evenings, the outdoor cinema is a real treat, offering a unique and cozy way to enjoy a movie under the stars. It is also conveniently located near some beautiful beaches, making it easy to enjoy the best of both worlds—peaceful countryside and stunning coastlines. For anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great amenities and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend staying here!

The location, the staff (Luisa, Valerio and the other young chap at the reception, sorry forgot the name and the housekeeping ladies)The room and the pool and breakfast. Also a nice walk from a nearby restaurant. Everyone was welcoming and went out of there way to make sure our stay was exceptional. Here you are not just a number but they take care of the details. They also surprised my husband with a cake on his birthday!

• Steve (9/5): Fantastic memories of Sicily - The area is excellent. Noto is a few miles away and worth visiting, as is Syracuse and Modica. (Ragusa is also supposed to be excellent). We also went to Carratois beach. Really great. Zahir House is in the middle of all this. You need a car. But it's fantastic with a great pool and great staff. They don't do dinner but there's plenty in Noto. Main tip is to go to Noto about 6pm in high season to park - Arrive around 8pm and it's a struggle. You can then see the sights and eat at 8pm. Excellent place and region. Highly recommended. n/a

It would have been good to have a proper place to change.. Perhaps some ambient music to cover the outside noise would be a nice addition to enhance the relaxing feel. The grounds look generally nice with garden and olive trees around, but there were some works going on and some parts had building material around.

Hotel is well maintained and super clean. Breakfast was a bit frugal but the pastries and cakes by Giuseppe the chef are excellent. Very nice grounds with a nice setting in olive trees. great swimming pool, all this in a nice and cosy environment. Special mention for all the staff who were super helpful. Emanuela, Claudia and Michela, Antonio and Gianni and last but not least, Valerio who is a walking encyclopedia of the area. Apart from other things he recommended a fantastic pastry shop called Fichera just 5 minutes away from the hotel. Great Pastries at great prices. Well done to all. Not Much!! Shall surely be back.

A big thank you to the wonderful Chef Giuseppe Catanese, for his lovely dishes and for sharing his passion and knowledge about local ingredients and the long culinary history of Sicily. Particularly appreciated all the mouthwatering breads baked with locally grown ancient grains (Tumminìa, Perciasacchi, Russello, Maiorca). We cannot wait to visit him in his own restaurant in Rosolini. Thank you to Maria Luisa Zisa (Da Lu Zero Glu), for her fresly baked cakes, whose fragrance guided us towards the breakfast room every day and for the special breakfast treats. Thank you to Alessandro the barman, with his special "caffè shakerato", his eternal good mood, smart sense of humor and nice stories. Thank you also to Emanuela and Valerio for their precious recommendations about places to see and good, traditional local restaurants. There could be more confortable sitting opportunities outside the rooms.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Fairly new hotel that is still partially in development. In our opinion there was too little focus on the basics, such as breakfast and diner - both not of the quality you might expect, especially for the prices that come with it. Moreover, there was a lot of chlorine in the pool water. The reason for booking a place like this is because you want to use the tranquility of the countryside and you want to be able to stay on the premises. In our opinion Zahir could do more to facilitate that.
• Florian (8/5): - Zahir country house is set in a beautiful garden setting with a very large infinity pool. A calm and beautiful retreat in the nature. What we liked: The Beautiful gardens, the very large and stylish swimming pool, the sitting and lounging areas around the pool and garden, the very friendly staff, who really go out of their way to help, the modern design of rooms and common areas, the free ample parking (in the shade below solar panels), the closeness to Noto, the beaches of the Vendicari nature reserve, the romantic lighting at night, the breakfast (once you know what you can order), the freshly cooked light lunches. What could be improved: Breakfast at first looks simple however there are loads of yummy items available on request, you just have to ask for them. Photos of the rooms should be updated as eg the suite now has a mezzanine, which is important to know if you have kids. There was some confusing communication with staff about whether it would be possible to have dinner, the final answer is: not in the resort but in a nice neighbouring restaurant. Some of the building work/landscaping needs to be completed around the new car park and the suite which was extended by private accommodation. Once that’s done, it will be beautiful also in that area.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great quiet location off the beaten path - A lovely B&B in a secluded location, close to the beach and yet 15 min to Noto. Facility has been recently renovated. Rooms are bright and spacious, but the aesthetic can said to be lacking in old-world warmth or charm. Comfortable, but in a modern way. There is a large breakfast room, but the common area living room is not inviting to use beyond that. I don't know if this is normally the case, or if during the high season the guests are invited to use the common living room at night. Since we were there with another couple in the off season, is was a bit strange not to have a sitting area that we could use outside of our rooms (during warmer months there are outdoors areas to use, even at night). Additionally, it seems that this place is not really sure if it is a B&B or a hotel. From the guest experience, it therefore lacks what either one of these fully offer. Full-time staff on hand, or on your own with little or no direction or assistance, except for at breakfast? The continental breakfast itself was very basic, with little choice of items. Not what a B&B should aspire to. Additionally, to accommodate foreigners, there has to be some ability to communicate in more than one language. The owner did not speak English, and our Italian is quite basic. There was someone there to help out, who was present for just part of the day and who could speak English, and this helped us immensely. But whether there is full time staff there during the high season is unknown.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful country house. - The house is fairly new and well built. It's in a lovely setting and the Owner's/staff were extremely nice and helpful. It's only a few minutes to drive to town and from the beach. Wish we could've stayed longer.
