La struttura non era affatto pulita: tappeto sudicio, divano sporco e lettino per il bambino sporchissimo. Invasione di formiche che ogni giorno dovevamo pulire. Giardino assolutamente non curato e inutilizzabile.

• Fred (10/5): Parfait! - L' emplacement pour ceux qui souhaitent être en dehors de Venise sur une île plus calme et moins touristique, peut être plus authentique . L' emplacement est à 1mn de l embarcadère où arrive le 4.2 mais le 4.1 n'est pas bien loin. Bref facile de rejoindre Venise en 15mn de bateau ou prolonger la balade sans descendre jusque place saint Marc si on le souhaite. Vaporetto N fonctionne aussi de nuit ... La maison est très sympa, très bien équipée avec 2 chambres parentales et un canapé lit. Chaque pièce a sa TV avec Netflix, Prime video... Cuisine aussi avec tout ce qu'il faut. Un très beau séjour. Honnêtement, pas grand chose :)

This was a great place to retreat to in the evenings from the crowds of Venice. The apartments were so comfortable. If you come in after 9pm, you may not find a restaurant or grocery store open. It’s a very different pace than Venice. Very enjoyable, but be prepared.

• Deborah (10/5): Stay in Murano!!! A culture of it's own - Quality property. Ground floor, windows on 3 sides yet very private. Very good security (not an issue in Murano, so far). Master suite, spacious, airy, comfortable and with 2 armoire closets. Twin bedroom smaller but comfortable. Shower/sink/wc w/window to garden area. A/C in kitchen/salon plus 3 sets of windows. Very good aeration. This flat would work well in any season. Kitchen is very good quality as are all furnishings. Very good location: central to shops, etc (Murano is not so big, though). Vaporetto stop nearby, hourly departures/arrivals. It was a very good experience staying here. I would return again, gladly. PS Beautiful showroom of high end glass works next door - Fabiano Amadi. Is the maestro. Stunning. Everything was good, other than inly one set of keys for 3 adults.

The restaurant next door even delivered food through our win - We loved the quieter location on Murano and the private garden was lovely to have. It was very spacious and had everything required, even a washing machine which was handy. The TV in the lounge didn’t work very well but that was the only thing and we simply used the other one. Not that we watched a lot of TV!

• Victoria (10/5): Ca’Mazzega will always be my second home when I travel to near Venice. Murano is a haven. - The whole apartment was beautiful, well appointed, and so spacious. The garden terrace was lovely and private and also well furnished with table chairs and umbrellas Momi could not have been more thoughtful and helpful. I could have stayed here forever! The location was perfect. So quiet with the grandest view of the canal from the front windows. Steps away from the water bus stop and the cutest cafe with excellent cappuccino. Right down the street was a Coop grocery store to pick up produce and such. Murano is a gem. And just a boat ride away from the busy city of Venice. It was perfect.

It said in my booking confirmation that someone will meet me for check in. This didnt happen. All check-in is online/remote/via app. I tried calling the property's phone number 6+ times on the day before and on my arrival - noone ever picked up, it was always put through to voicemail. Only after a helpful Murani resident called theproperty manager from her Italian cellphone did the property manager pick up and help with the check in. I strongly recommend that booking.com stops advertising the property as in-person check-in. Noone is there in person to check you in.

Murano is a lovely island with easy access to Burano and Torcello. If you prefer peace and quiet away from the very busy Venice then this is for you. In summer with warmer weather , this is the ideal location. Eating in the evening was a little challenging as the restaurants closed in the evenings. They seemed, to open on certain evenings and a booking was required in order to guarantee a table. It would be useful to have a list of restaurants and the evenings they open with telephone numbers so that a table could be booked.

Visit Perla ai bisatei restaurant, it’s fabulous. Maybe some mugs for British tea would be good. Only 4 very small teacups.

• Marthie (6/5): Pleasant - Location was excellent. What a wonderful way to experience Venice. Staying on Murano island. We've stayed here in a one bedroom apartment before and absolutely loved it. What a disappointment to being our adult daughter along and had the opposite experience. Apartment not equipped for more than 2 adults as the second bedroom has no cupboard facilities and the beds are for kids. Could do for children but definitely not adults. Zero mirrors. No ironing facilities or microwave.
