Beautiful and traditional house with a very modern and large shared kitchen, if you choose to self-cater. Gorgeous swimming pool and garden. Lovely quiet atmosphere. Large shared living room. McGregor is a lovely little town. Everything was excellent.
- Carolyne (9/5): Convenient and comfortable stay in McGregor - Very comfortable room with ensuite bathroom. It was spotlessly clean. There was a good communal area and cooking facilities should I have wanted to use them. The property owners were very helpful telling me where to eat and what was available locally. They have a beautiful quiet garden with a swimming pool. The room was a bit dark as I was advised to keep the shutters closed - I was not sure whether this was for security or to keep the room cooler.

The hostess was very welcoming and and Happy to offer advice when asked. Beautiful relaxing Garden with a pool so a nice relax after driving. My wife commented that it was such a pleasure staying there everything that was needed was there and had been thought of nothing to complain about or recommend changes It had everything, Lighting Mirrors hairdryers Only improvement would be to replace the Dhower head with one of those large overhead rain shower type fittings

- Dave (10/5): Highly recommend - It's hard to top this place if you're visiting McGregor and surrounds for a weekend. Very comfy and spacious, and all the appliances you might need if planning a longer stay. Annatjie and Hennie were wonderful hosts.
- Trudi (8/5): Very good - This is a beautifully managed and appointed property with excellent facilities and lovely extras touches. The listing in Booking.com is misleading in that it suggests that the rate advertised is a booking for the entire property ie both bedrooms and that is not the case. I ended up paying double since I had misunderstood and used both bedrooms. I understand from the owner that this is not the first time that has happened. I suggest the description for the one click booking should make this clear. Obviously a lesson to me to triple check all the details but I feel that it should be easier to manage the booking. As a result of this I didn’t feel it was good value for money but of course it would be if it had been charged according to my expectations.
