• Andrew (9/5): Fully met our expectations and well located for where we was visiting - Good breakfast - only minor point was lack of mushrooms but did not put me off and the quality was excellent I honestly have nothing really to add. There was a slight issue with slow draining of sink in room 149 - possible minor pipe blockage
• Andrew (7/5): Lose the muzak! - Room was excellent. Having a speaker directly above the table I was sitting at playing piped music in close proximity to the television I was trying to watch and, crucially, listen to the news on. Why do hotels insist on polluting the air with this dross?
• Chloe (10/5): Family of 6 - Comfortable and clean and in a great location. Free breakfast was good and the ladies were really attentive constantly refilling items and cleaning up. Rooms were very quiet considering how close the m25 is. Beds were great, sofa bed less so bit fine for a night or two. Water was hot and plentiful everything was spotless. We had two rooms and the standard across both was the same. Only 2 suggestions 1-more staff on the desk/bar. When we arrived after a long drive there was only 1 guy and we had to wait a good while while he ordered someone's dinner and got them drinks. We were just exhausted and desperate to lie down and he was doing his best but another member of staff would've made it easier for everyone involved And 2- we may have missed it but we couldn't find any info on how to turn down the heat or anything. Often rooms come with a little guide. Figured it out in the end but I wish it had been clearer. Very minor criticisms though and wouldn't put us off staying again at all.

One particular female staff member refused to check in myself and my friends who all arrived separately and happened to be black. She made her colleague check us in instead and could not hide her rudeness and disdain towards us.

Das Zimmer war nicht gemütlich, da es ein handycapt Zimmer war, es lag direkt neben dem Personalraum, am morgen war schon früh Lärm.

Very pleasant staff .Location ideal for Warner Bros studios and Harry Potter. Next to garage and really good retail park. Free parking. It was all good.

Servizi: parcheggio gratuito Servizio ristorante presente, ma abbiamo preso qualcosa al centro commerciale e lo abbiamo consumato in hotel, in quanto è possibile utilizzare i tavoli presenti per mangiare quello che si desidera incluso cibo da asporto. Molto comodo. Personale sempre gentile Moquette in camera, perché ha sempre quell odore di polvere e mi da un senso di sporcizia a prescindere. Colazione: mangiabile, nulla di degno di nota

Free on site parking Eating area for breakfast was nice and clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Overall, would stay here again. Carpet was really stained and dirty in the one room;needs replacing/deep clean. Breakfast could have been warmer, serving area is small kept bumping into other guests.

• Dorel-Bogdan (5/5): would probably look elsewhere next time - overall it was ok ... but feels like that place had more potential, parking was ok , but a massive, sharp speed bump at the entrance, brekfast was ok although for £16 per person breakfast wasn't really worth it... was a bit disappointed by everything really , room had windows that did not open to let some fresh air in , although they were not closing properly(very old window frames and was very drafty) heater was VERY loud in the room and needed it on all night as draft coming in near windows and the room door had a massive gap underneath letting all the noise from the hallway come in plus cold air in the night ... gym was tiny and my 9 year old son was not allowed in with me for some reason ...

• Frances (8/5): One staff member was unfriendly and unhelpful. The room was changed for the second night and was really good. The hotel - Plenty of parking, once changed, the room was great. The wash basin didn’t fill. The bathroom washbasin tap seemed to leak as the unit flooded.

• Hilton (10/5): Will use this hotel again - Excellent location at the M25 junction. Proximity to the Colney Fields retail park was a bonus with good shopping and bus services into St Albans. Good breakfast, plenty of choice. No negatives.
