William (10/5): Mooring House in Somerset West, Cape Town, is homely and recommended for short or long stay. - Gary, the owner and his lovely wife were good hosts. Always willing to help with any requests. Jackie, the housekeeper was always cheerful, ever busy looking after the apartment and friendly, too. We enjoyed our one week stay at the apartment. Can't think of any. I suggested to Gary to update the website because the current photographs are not doing justice to the beautiful apartments and the ambience.

Trevor (10/5): A gem of a place! - We had a lovely stay with Miriam and Gary at Mooring House. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the property feels very secure behind electric gates. The hosts do everything to make your stay enjoyable and are genuine, warm, and thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Francis (10/5): Perfect 2 night stay in a safe and upmarket area - Really spacious and extremely well equipped apartment room with kitchen facilities, although all I used was the kettle. Ample seating in my room with 2 couches and a really nice touch is a table and 2 chairs on the patio outside the apartment door. Great WiFi too, at fibre speed.

Rooms are clean and well equipped, all set in a beautiful garden setting with a swimming pool and BBQ facilities. Ample safe on-site parking is available.

Henk (8/5): Lovely place - Comfy apartment. Nicely setup kitchen and the table and chairs were a huge bonus. Comfy place to sit and do work. Well situated in Somerset West and do take a drive around the suburb and experience the magic of the area. The bathroom was cold but that is just because it was cold outside, no fault of the owner.
