Cucina dotata di Bollitore, tosta pane e microonde oltre alla piastra elettrica, tutto il necessario per prepararsi un'ottima colazione. Minimarket a due passi aperto fino alle 22/22:30 con un pó di tutto (anche latte vegetare e prodotti senza glutine). Doccia spaziosa e bidè. Servizio di taxi all'arrivo dall'aeroporto incluso nel prezzo. Il phone era da viaggio, troppo piccolo.

Que en la reserva en Booking.com no se dijese que las llaves había que recogerlas en otra ubicación C/ Arenal 23 a 130 metros del apartamento, lo que nos obligó a retroceder a buscar la llaves. Si es cierto que en la unica comunicación que nos llegó de Oriente Suites se nos trasladó esa información, sin embargo, ni fue clara ni lo suficientemente explícita para entender entre tanto texto que había que recoger las llaves en otro lugar y no dónde se reservó y se encontraba el apartamento. El mantenimiento brillaba por su ausencia; faltaba una de las puertas del armario del dormitorio, esquinas desconchadas, el tope de la puerta del baño roto, luces fundidas en el baño, puerta de la lavadora de la cocina rota por humedad, contrapersianas interiores del Comedor-Cocina no cerraban, cartel de "No Molestar" casi roto. Y por último, muy mal insonorizado, a pesar de que se encuentra en una calle transversal a las principales y que el dormitorio se encuentra al fondo del apartamento. Un 5 sobre 10.

Check in staff at the main building were also very friendly and accommodating. Small enough shower, had to squeeze to the wall to close the door to it.

Location is central to all attractions and multiple subway stations . There is also a lift so getting bags up to level 5 was no issues at all.

• Eithne (8/5): Very quiet, convenient apartment in central Madrid - The situation, the staff, the cleanliness, the bed, the shower. The important things. The crockery, etc, in the kitchen was basic. The sofa is comfortable only for those with very long legs.
• Shelley J (8/5): - Overall a well equipped, cozy place to be. Walkable to most local sites but the metro is also only a block away. Numerous restaurants in the immediate area. The apartment is cleaned daily by lovely ladies. The only issue we had was that we had was that the listing shows that the apartment is equipped with Air conditioning. It is, but there was no remote to operate it and when we asked we were told that the remote would not be available until May 1 and “to open the windows”. We were there for 4 nights in late April with the average temperatures in the mid to high 20’s and the option given was just not feasible as the place heated up quite badly. We tried closing and shuttering windows during the day to keep the place cool but that also did not cool enough to allow for a decent nights sleep as it was simply too warm. Even a portable fan would have helped.

• Ye (6/5): nice location for tourists. - Location was excellent, easy to access everything. There was a kitchen for basic cooking. You can use the washer as well. (remember to bring the detergent if you need to do laundry) the shower room is pretty small, similar to airplane toilet. It was hard to get a good shower. The bathroom also smells bad. You may want to bring the air fresher. If possible, bring your own shampoo and conditioner, soap and lotion.

• Ágústa (7/5): The main advantage was the location which is very good. - The location is very good, in the heart of Madrid. Overall the apartment was ok but there were a few things that could be fixed. Such as a loose door handle in the bathroom and a door that was so stiff that it took effort to open it. Tableware was also lacking, cups were cracked and more wine glasses could be provided.
• Evelyn (9/5): Good for a short stay in the heart of Madrid - The location was great. The apartment was small but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The shower and kitchen facilities were clean and modern. Even though we were on a busy street, it was quiet at night. It was a bit strange at first to enter the apartment directly from the street, but we got used to it. It would be more convenient to be able to collect the keys at the door instead of going to another hotel first to pick them up, but it went smoothly despite the extra step this required.

Despite the outdoor temperature dropping a little, we were very warm and cosy inside. Very comfortable bed. There was nothing we didn't like. The apartment is a bit jaded and very basic for the price. The TV showed nothing except Spanish language programmes, nothing in English.

Apartment had everything I needed for a week's stay and was very bright, with nice views of the local street life. I felt safe walking home and in the apartment, which is important to me as I was traveling alone. Initially difficult to locate where I was supposed to pick up the keys. Apartment was acceptable but felt a bit "tired" - flooring starting to come up, bathroom caulking coming off, etc.

Very quiet at night despite the central location. Having to collect keys from one building with a tiny lift to then walk down the road to the apartment which despite having a lift you have to go up some stairs to get to it. Be wary if travelling with heavy luggage or a pushchair/stroller.

Clean and comfortable with daily cleaning if wanted. 24 hour reception at the sister hotel just around the corner. Some parts could do with improvement- there were only 2 mis-matched wine glasses and a random selection of beer glasses, only large mugs, no coffee cups, old and odd cutlery, very few kitchen utensils. The ice box door in the fridge was missing. The cushions on the rooftop chairs were badly stained. The previous occupants left cigarette ends on the terrace floor. These minor issues affect the overall impression of the property - if fixed it would easily score a 10

• Puneet (9/5): Superb - Great location. 5 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, and Sol. 2 minutes to metro station. Lots of restaurants & cafes nearby. Good communication from property manager and staff. They even did 2 lots of clothes washing for us as the washing machine in the apartment had broken down. Lift in the building, so don't have to carry luggage up flights of stairs. Nothing.
• Jennifer (8/5): A central, safe apartment in the heart of Madrid - The apartment is safe and secure on its own floor and is full of lovely natural light with big windows that open. The location was brilliant- midway between the palace and the plaza mayor we could walk everywhere easily. The Opera metro station is less than 100 metres and Sol is 500metres away. The kitchen needed more utensils especially a bread knife and the bath towels could be bigger.

Studio’s door was opening to the street directly. I didn’t feel safe. The street was noisy and I couldn’t sleep well. The bed was not comfortable. I’m 1.84 and I had to sleep with my feet out of the bed.

• Jeff (8/5): Great apartment, super location very convenient to see the old Town of Madrid - Th location of the Oriente Suites was perfect - very close to the Opera Metro. The check in staff at the Oriente Hostal were great as we came early and were able to leave our bags with them . The apartment was super comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. It was great also that we had daily maid service. The sofa couch was very comfortable as was the bed. It was so nice to be so close to the Metro but the apartment was on a more quiet side street so that street noises were not too bad The only small quibble we had was that the apartment was not too sound proof and we had noisy neighbours above us which we could hear. In addition it rained when we were in Madrid and the bedroom window opened to an alcove and the rain made a loud sound when it landed on the air conditioner in alcove..
• Rachel (9/5): Wonderful family stay in Madrid - Great location, comfortable bed, nice kitchen and two lovely small balconies with a beautiful view. I loved sitting out on the balcony. I stayed here with my two young kids and we were very comfortable! The washing machine didn’t work the first time I tried to use it and they fixed it for me the next day, but without a dryer it was a touch tricky. I appreciated them quickly addressing it. Only other very small thing- the knives were very dull and just need to be sharpened.
• Debra (9/5): Lovely city with lots to see and visit. - The location was fantastic. Five minute walk to the Palace. Easy walking distance to many attractions, shops, restaurants. We had the ground floor apartment which was very clean and well equipped although there were no windows which made it feel a little cave like but plenty of light came in from the large glass door which had obscure glass. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable and not suited to relaxing after a long day sight seeing. A comfy sofa or two arm chairs would get a 10 out of 10 from us. The room would also benefit from some drawers.
• Gabriela (5/5): Too noisy - the apartment location was very good, just 100 meters from the opera metro station and 400 meters from Plaza del Sol. The apartment is big enough for two people, and has everything that you need. The hostal provides a clean service every day, something that is very appreciate. The apartment is not inside any building so the door of the room is directly in the street so is very very noisy, as is a very central location a lot of people is passing by. Also, we asked for the AC control because it was hot in the room for us and the refused to give it to us because they don't use AC in winter, so we passed the 4 nights between the hot room and the noise

• Francisco (10/5): A fantastic stay. - The location of the suite (Cll de la Escalinata) was phenomenal. Easily accessible to restaurants, stores, attactions, and transportation (including the Opera Metro and taxis). Walking distance to the Royal Palace, Plaza de Oriente, Plaza de Espana, la Gran Via. la Plaza Mayor, and Mercado San Miguel (Amazing public market). The suite was fully equiped including a full kitchen, washer/dryer and very quiet. The reception desk was in a separate building (Main Oriente Suite Bldg) and was tricky to locate as the building numbers were a little misleading. However, once located it was a swift check-in.
