- Karen (10/5): - Amables, buen desayuno
- Paweena (8/5): - Very good for the price you paid. The only thing that’s not convenient is transportation. Staff is very friendly and helping me to find a rental car.
- Gregory (8/5): - Hotwater jug in the room but no coffee or tea provided. Limited on-site vehicle parking.
- Frederic (10/5): - Very clean and fairly quiet
- Sutthiluck (10/5): - Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is big and clean.
- S (8/5): Good - Good budget hotel. A little out from the action if you don't have a car but all ok otherwise
- Dennis (8/5): - Good place for a night stay. Breakfasy was good, both thai and western.
- Alicia (8/5): - Had a good 2 night stay. Really friendly staff. Good Choice for breakfast too. Only issue was my phone couldn't find the right wifi network.
- Stephanie (6/5): - You get what you paid for. We used this for one night as it was near where we needed to be for the transfer the next day. The rooms are outdated but overall was an ok stay
- Mahendra (10/5): - Nice , clean hotel but not far from historical place.
- yakov (8/5): You got what you paid for - Good location 10 minutes walk from the central bus station an A night food market
Large room with balcony
Large shower room but No curtain
Breakfast was not a large selection not satisfying meal (cold eggs)
Excellent WIFI signal input even in rooms
Staff speak a poor English but willing to help
You should consider arriving and returning from Bangkok by regular bus rather than crowded van
- Sam (8/5): Good value, a little inconsistent - Room was great, light and bright, spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.
Receptionist spoke almost no English but was friendly and as helpful as she could be.
Breakfast was a reasonable selection and had obviously tried to cater to the tastes of different nations with cereals, bread/toast, some fruit and also ham/eggs/sausages (frankfurters) and a local dish of rice porridge, unfortunately with the exception of the porridge(the only thing worth having in my opinion) it was all cold!
On our second morning we arrived to find no ‘hot’ food laid out, and were told in very broken English to take a seat and she will bring us something, well i assumed there would be some sort of choice but we were brought plates with an egg, with sausage and ham. All was stone cold, and as I wouldn’t have chosen it anyway we opted for cornflakes and toast.
The third morning was better with the return of the buffet and the hot porridge!
Other than that our stay was awesome!
- Sharleen (8/5): Quaint little town - Nice hotel in town area accessible on foot. Small hotel with friendly staff.
- Richard (8/5): Perfect for an overnight stay. - The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. It is close to the bus station but note that it is a little way from the main tourist area, where the majority of tourists appear to stay. Good value. The breakfast was unmemorable.
- Bonnie (8/5): New hotel closed to town - This hotel is actually located right by Thai Seri restaurant between soi Sangchuto 46 and soi Sanam Pao. The location shown in google map is somewhat misleading.
Staff were friendly and helpful and one of the hotel's owners was actually there when we checked in. She greeted us warmly.
Room is new, clean and equipped with A/C, 2-door fridge & flat screen TV. Bed, pillows and comforter are comfy. The only down things were low water pressure for the shower and bathroom door cannot be locked. I guess it was for my room only because everything in the other room that our group stayed was working fine. Breakfast had adequate selection.
All in all, we had a nice stay and would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
- Sue (8/5): New hotel in Kanchanaburi town - This is a small hotel with 40 rooms only. Staff was nice and helpful.
The hotel is conveniently located closed to town. The Bridge over the River Kwai and War Cemetary are a short ride from the hotel.
Breakfast is included with the room rate and it was nice quality and has just enough selections.
It's really a good deal especially now with the promotional price during the new opening. I would recommend this hotel.
- Mille (6/5): Brand new - but with many start-up issues - I stayed one night in this hotel with family. We booked two rooms and paid in advance via Hotels.com
The address of the hotel on hotels.com is wrong. The number on the booking confirmation was also wrong. The hotel is brand new and locals do not know its location yet.
Receptionist did not speak English but managed to tell me I did not pay for my room and they did not use hotels.com. Took 30 min (sweating from the long walk to find the hotel) before they realized their mistake and checked us in.
I find it very frustrating when no-one in the reception speaks any English and I have to speak to the manager on the phone when I have a basic request as for instance a password for the internet.
The breakfast consisted of eggs, ham, sausages and toast. Would have been a fine breakfast - unfortunately it must have been prepared in advance since it was cold when we got it.
Be aware that the hotel is located a little away from the bridge and graves. You must be a good walker or hire taxies to take you places.
The facilities are brand new and very nice. The bed is comfy, aircon is very silent and everything in the room is just nice.
It seems like a hotel with potential but with a lack of atmosphere. Maybe they will get the service and atmosphere sorted when they have been running a little longer. I hope so, since the facilities are nice. We paid 900 per room which I find fair for the facilities but lack of location and service.
