• Starr (1/5): Don't believe the pictures! , no hot water, dirty, uncomfortable, no sleep! - The ONLY thing good about it was the convenience to LEGOLAND. And the room had a good layout for families but honestly it was not really a room it was the old break room or something turned into a room. The entire property was in disrepair. It does not at all look like the photos online. Everything from the outside, the pool & the rooms looked far worse than the photos. The floors were dirty, the bedding & sheets were stained. The light outside was so bright shining in the window my daughter couldn't sleep. The bathroom felt dirty & the floor was damaged & dirty. The pool was not the cleanest but the kids still swam but there was broken chairs, an old storage building out there with a roof caving in. Junk everywhere. So i figured ok at least we can maybe get a hot shower, no there was no hot water & we ran it for a while but then saw that the water wasn't draining so now its filled with gross water. We told the manager, he came in took a plunger to the drain which didnt really fix it. Then instead of a major discount he gave us the room next door & told us to use that bathroom. My daughter & I got a warm shower but it wasn't hot. My husband tried to shower in the 2nd room the next morning & there was no hot water in that bathroom either. Our kids nor my husband or I got hardly any sleep. The bed in the other room we slept in had the cheapest, most unstable bed frame, it wobbled every time you moved & squeaked loud! Everything about this place was deceiving from the listing.

• Deborah (5/5): Bed was comfortable. - Breakfast was mediocre. Ran out of plates & spoons. No juice or fruit or protein food. No sugar free waffle syrup. Breakfast was all carbs. Maintenance came up and fixed the water drip coming out of the wall. Plates, spoons & sugar free syrup for the diabetic customers. No eggs or tater tots. Found a cheaper place in close proximity to your place.

• Giancarlo (5/5): Worth $48 a night - Cheap. Quiet. Not sure why this gets such bad ratings. It is old and run down but wdy expext for 48 bucks a night? 5 star hotel with gourmet restaurant? Many have mentioned bugs but did not see any except for 1 ant. I survived the encounter. Mold on shower ceiling. Didnt use shower as only 1 night stay. Property does need some fixing up, but of course then price would increase. This is 25 to 50 bucks less than any other place in Winter Haven which tends to be overpriced.

• Jerys (1/5): Look elsewhere. - Didn’t end up staying. Rooms are not what the picture looks like room they offered me smelled they pee cigarettes, then they offered me another room, but I was already discouraged of the room and ambience of the property so they not feel safe with my family.

Stains all over the bed, bathroom is beyond gross, parking lot is too small, and the motel looks so beat uo from outside. Its the cheapest but i advise just spending $10-$15 more and go to roadway next door.

• Daiane (1/5): rotten place - nothing The accommodation is rotten, this place is not clean, very dirty, I was disgusted even lying on the bed, the floor was never vacuumed, the cloth even less, one of the rooms had a lot of water because the minibar is defective as soon as we arrived our 3-year-old daughter fell, the other room stank, the windows have no curtains, only blinds and they are still broken, we could not sleep because of the brightness, and the stench I do not recommend this place even for one night, suggestion to booking, do not rent to this place, this is very far from being a hotel

• Verified traveler (2/5): Very affordable, but just too gross - Ive stayed here a couple of times Pros: -has a pool -no deposit if you pay on this app -very affordable -close to legoland -has mini fridge Cons: -terribly small parking lot -the property outside is gross and poorly kept -bed is gross and stained -pungent cigarette smell in every room i got -tvs/remotes rarely work -there are roaches in the hotel room -residents are a bit country/hard kn their luck -owners/workers are unkept and smell bad -the room in general is incredibly worn down. Damaged door and tiles -mold on walls This hotel is the cheapest hotel you can get thats close to legoland, with no deposit. The most affordable with minor amenities but the condition is so poor. The place is just really gross all around. You get what you paid for, but i recommend spending a little bit more to get a better quality stay at a different nearby hotel.

• Emmitt (4/5): - Stayed here with my family just for 1 night. Place is very outdated, the fridge bearly stayed cold enough for food, id question its food safety. Pool was filthy, and was not opened when we arrived, we had to ask for them to open ot cause i called the noght befpre and they said it was open, and would be. Grass was over grown, we offered to mow it for $40 or another night at the motel, and they declined. If youre just passing through and need a quick and cheap place, then this is fpr ypu, but if ypu value cleanliness and aesthetics, then skip this place. Only good thing i canention is that there were NOT bugs in the room. So thats a big plus.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Not worth any price - We were dissatisfied with the upkeep on the room. The stove was rusty, no pots or pans if I wanted to use it, no utensils, not even a glass. No ice cube trays. The best thing was the bed. Very comfortable, although the sheets were thin and no contour for the bottom. The price was cheap but they can do better by not renting out a subpar room.

The air conditioner in the second room doesnt work it runs hot and keeps the room hot. The air in the other room doesnt cool the place down due to the cracks inbetween the doors from the back door to the front door and the windows. They don’t have no curtains just blinds. The was some bugs and the floor was dirty and for some reason the shower wasn’t draining
• Hillier (5/5): If you need somewhere to stay it’s basically worth it when you ain’t got no where to go - It’s a place to rest They didn’t have breakfast but the tv signal doesnt really work like the channels don’t come in. the WiFi doesn’t reach the rooms only the suit one with 3 beds. the rooms are hot when you first come in like they turn the ac off. It comes with a fridge and microwave but the fridge isn’t cold.Not really no trash cans and they don’t provide enough towels maybe 2 per room. The pool isn’t open due to the handicapped chair doesn’t work can’t beat the price when it’s only 100 a night also a lot of termites around at night also water pressure sucks in the shower

The cleanliness of the rooms, we were in one room for 2 days immediately had issues with the toilet as it wouldn’t flush, had to constantly plunged it until one morning we woke up to it flooding the entire room. Got moved to a different room that was INFESTED with roaches.. when I mean INFESTED .. I MEAN INFESTED M!!! IT WAS DISGUSTING! I Went and told the owner he sent one the workers up there to spray the room but it didn’t help at all.. it was god awful they need to hire a exterminator.

• Gretchen (4/5): Okay for a night's sleep if your prospects are limited, but stay somewhere else if you can afford it - I was allowed to check in early which was greatly appreciated. The room was clean and the air conditioning nice and cold. The refrigerator worked and was ALSO nice and cold. The wi-fi worked well. The beds were comfortable and the blackout shades were sufficient for privacy. Every staff member was very friendly and kind. My next-door-neighbor had a VERY LOUD motorcycle which he seemed to use several times going into the wee hours. Every time he started it up or came back it woke me. I was only there for one night so I didn't say anything, but at the very least he should have been in a room ON THE END where he didn't wake the entire motel up. The furnishings were old and creaky, and the beds would have been WAY better with some updated (and better-fitting) linens and pillows. Finally it was a disappointment that the pool wasn't open. If that's important to you, ASK THEM before booking if it's open or not.
