- 485andyr (4/5): Good and Bad - Pros - Reasonable prices and relatively clean, good location for the Thurs/Sunday street market - town square is only 4-5 blocks away. Cons - it’s a Noisy hotel, the sounds of the lobby and restaurant echo throughout the building. We had a room with no outside window, just opens to an interior shaft, which provided another way for noise to echo.

- Miguel (10/5): My favorite place to stay! - Very nice and clean, beds are comfortable. The restaurant Argentina Cafe has the best food and Samantha the server is super nice and friendly. This hotel is my favorite place to stay at, have been there multiple times.
- Monica (6/5): - Rooms are clean and staff is very helpful. Restaurant's food is tasty as well. Our room was not ready at 3 even when we checked in with staff at noon. However, they worked on getting it ready after 3:15 when we returned to check if the room was ready. The restaurant closes at 10:30 and they play music that can be heard by those sleeping. When the door for the parking lot is closed, it makes a lot of noise and wakes you up. It is a good place to stay if you are able to sleep through the noise that stops aroung midnight.

- Andrew (10/5): Always great. - A consistent and reliable hotel in GDL / Tonalá. Secure covered parking gives this hotel a one-up on most other hotels. The proximity to all the Tonala shopping - and the hotels storage area for your purchases is awesome. Clean, quiet enough, walking to shopping, helpful staff, good onsite restaurant and bar. Really, quite a deal for the price.

- Michelle (10/5): Great Hotel in Tonala for shopping - This hotel is great if you are on a Tonala shopping trip. The location is very convenient, walking distance to everything and you get assigned a stall in the hotel where the stores will deliver your purchases to. Clean and comfortable rooms. There is a restaurant on site and the food is pretty good but the service is not great. There appears to be lots of staff but they are more interested in their mobile devices than in taking care of customers.

- N (8/5): - It was relatively quiet. The staff were excellent, and highly responsive. The room was clean, and the bathroom had hot water. Several guests had dogs, so that is good if you are bringing a pet. I was a little surprised that the air-conditioning wouldn't turn on.

- Tara (8/5): - This lovely spanish style hotel is very clean, the staff very polite and accommodating. I had expected a hair dryer- the room didn't have one, but the desk provided a very nice one with a deposit of 100 pesos. Bath gel is provided, but shampoo and conditioner are not (I always bring my own). The room was spacious and decorated nicely. Hotel Wifi is awful - my husband spoke to the staff and they sent someone up to connect us to their high speed internet and it was fantastic. The area looks a bit sketchy (lots of graffiti), but we felt safe wandering around enjoying the shopping nearby.

They offer secure stalls where you have your purchases delivered to so you don’t have to lug your items with you. Restaurant is good. Rooms are not fancy but they are clean. Secure car parking.

- Latitude31mex (8/5): Vey comfortable and convenient - I always stay at Hacienda del Sol, while in Tonalá. Their staff are very nice and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is close to all of the shopping. There’s a restaurant and bar on the premises, which is pretty good. There’s spaces where you can keep your merchandise, for as long as you are there. We will go back.

Rooms are predictably the same every time, clean and nice linens on the beds.the location is premium for exploring Tonala and shopping. Nice to have the restaurant in house. Covered secure parking is a big one for us. Staff are extremely helpful.

- JOSEFINA (10/5): - The property inside and out was very clean. If I wanted to use the T.V. there was a charge for the control $100 pesos. The hotel price per night is affordable. The hotel is situated close to everything with in walking distance, which makes it convenient. It has a bar/restaurant. The only down side is their WiFi it is very, very poor. They had several options to connect to the WiFi but all of them had a weak/poor signal. Over all I enjoyed my stay. In the future I will book with them again.
- Patricia (10/5): - The property is very clean and nice. They have an elevator which is a huge help when you have heavy bags. They receive your packages from the Tonala markets and put them in a package area so that you can bring to your room or pack right in your car or other transportation. They have a great restaurant and the prices are great also. We started there with breakfast and thought we would try lunch too. Then decided to eat dinner there also. No complaints at all on the meals. They have a large menu so there’s something for everyone. We will be back.
- Rosiland (10/5): - I didn't know it has its own restaurant which was a nice surprise. There wasn't anything open on a Sunday night but we had our supper and breakfast there and considering the smallness of the enterprise the meals were quite good, not great, but satisfying and reasonably priced.

Very nicely done, clean, comfortable, nice beds, quiet. The dining area in the hotel is awesome with good food and excellent staff. Parking is indoors at hotel with security. Convenient location. Our king room had no windows to outside, but turned out okay because if we did have a street view at the front the traffic noise would have been horrendous. Small room but what do you want for the price? Comfortable beds and linens, very clean. Loved the towels, marca “La Josefina” are the best! Good shower pressure and hot water. I enjoyed spending some time in the bar. Alfonso has a decent selection of beer and pours a generous ron añejo. Could use some more variety in música but maybe I was in there for too long, ha haaa Would stay here again, absolutely. Graçias
- Michelle (10/5): Perfect hotel for shopping trip - This hotel is located right in the shopping district and you are provided a stall where you have all your purchases delivered to. Fabulous set up for a shopping trip. The hotel and the rooms are clean. Great secure parking. Other than one waiter in the bar, all the staff are helpful and friendly. There is a small bar and restaurant onsite. Breakfasts were very good and lunch/dinner items were ok. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Tonala.
