- Gilbert (8/5): - Overall, the place was nice. We had some issues like the smell of the air-conditioning and a spa bath where the spa part of the bath didn't work. Close to the beach. Nice pools. Kids loved it!!

- Rachel (8/5): - Great spot to stay, close to central Coffs Harbour. Car parking was tricky, had to park out on the hill most times. No sink in the kitchenette meant washing up in the bathroom sink. A/C when turned on flared up my asthma, so we couldnt use it. Otherwise, clean and tidy.

Our room was average tv in room didn’t work bad TV reception in lounge room, the DVD player didn't have no chords, the spare didn’t have a plug we had to go to front office for a plug. I had booked and paid for 2 nights @ $342 so contacted reception to ask to add another night and have them honor the offered deal only to be told another night would cost $145. Refused to honor the advertised deal even though i was willing to have the prepaid price for 2 nights @ $342 stand with one more night added free as id paid more than the $299 deal. Wont be staying again.
- Savin (8/5): - The Pacific Bay Resort is located in a great location off the Pacific Highway and is close to the Big Banana in Coffs Harbour. It has pools, a spa and a few sporting facilities, which is close to Diggers beach and Park beach. The room was very clean & tidy with some amenities. It is surrounded by trees and some native wildlife and lots of birds. It was very peaceful and calming to stay there. Parking and the lift were an issue at times, as not many undercover spots are available (which are not allocated to guests) and therefore had to park outside the buildling in the open car park sometimes, which was not monitored by CCTV and was inconvenient. Not many food options available, so advisable to BYO food & drink.

- TATSUYA (4/5): Old room not renovated - It’s like a scam. The room vide was 90s and looks like never renovated. On the website the room looks newly upgraded but sadly it wasn’t. I talked to reception and he was very kind to offer to move to an another room where seemed better interior. However it wasn’t located in a same building so we decided to remain in a same room. Overall I’m so disappointed

Found the bed to be very comfortable and spacious. The outside grounds are clean and offer plenty of walking space. Highly recommend a diffuser in the room as the smell of bleach is quite unpleasant when trying to settle in.

- Erin (4/5): - Parking was too far away from the property - hard for a late night check in to get bags upstairs. Neighbours tv was so noisy it was like it was on in our room. We couldn’t move rooms as they wanted to charge us $60 cleaning fee (we’d only just walked in). Restaurant super expensive. It just didn’t have a nice friendly vibe felt very concrete jungle. Wasn’t anything WRONG but just wasn’t great - wouldn’t stay again.
- Gloria (6/5): - Room I choose was supposed to have sea views, reason I paid a little more for it, unfortunately this wasn’t the case. Could change power points to include usb plug ins for people who are used to this & only take their cable now without the plug.

Cockroaches overnight and the curtains we filthy, internet didn't work the whole time and we stayed 4 nights and nobody to come empty the garbage or freshen up the room and we were told that we would have to pay extra for that. The pool was nice but not heated. The bed was uncomfortable

- Sioban (6/5): - We paid extra for an ocean view, but it should have been advertised as a distant ocean glimpse. And we weren’t told that to get the ‘ocean view’ we would need to lug our baggage up 2 flights of stairs to the 5th floor because there were no elevators in the building. We went to the restaurant on the first evening. It had little to no atmosphere and the menu and food was pretty average. While the mattress on the queen bed wasn’t uncomfortable, it had seen better days, and the room was light and bright - too light at night with only vertical blinds that did little to shut out the hallway lights.
- Robert (8/5): - Nice resort, great choice of pools, but the resort is older and needs some love, we had a broken window which we couldn't close, it was ok during April, but cooler months might be less comfortable.
- Tony (8/5): - Comfortable accommodation in an old golf resort that is still well maintained and slowly being updated. The par 3 golf course has some interesting challenges. Staff are friendly and helpful.
- Penelope (4/5): - The car park was full but one of the staff offered to move their car which was lovely. Unfortunately there was a leak on the bathroom floor which we noticed immediately.on entering. Staff were very responsive but couldn’t find the source of the leak but provided bath floor mats. Luckily it wasn’t huge.The carpet in the living area wasn’t quite big enough and was frayed at the point it met the tiles. The gardens were beautiful and extremely well maintained.

- Arshia (6/5): - The hotel's location, excellent pool, beautiful grounds, and the surrounding natural scenery were among its advantages. However, the hotel room was very old, and the furnishings were completely outdated and worn out. The bed and sofa were extremely uncomfortable and bothersome. The sofa bed was crescent-shaped, its springs were broken, making it almost unusable and causing back pain. The hotel did not provide daily cleaning services. The room requires a complete renovation.
- Protik (8/5): - Beautiful property and great service received by the staff. The room was a little dated but even that would not stop me or my family from coming back! Special shout out to the bar and restaurant staff who were genuinely welcoming and hospitable!

- Victoria (6/5): - There is NO lift for a 6 level Terrace building! It was incredibly difficult to walk up and down several flights of stairs, particularly with heavy luggage. Huge issue for people with mobility issues. It was also VERY confusing trying to find our room…this must be a common issue as they sent a video to assist navigating to the room. However, on finding the room it was clean and good view and a microwave which we were happy with. Undercover Parking was limited and difficult and very tight for a SUV.

- Bree (8/5): - Charlesworth bay has been a regular place I stay at for sports and holidays. The rooms are always clean and tidy and the facilities are great which is why I keep coming back. Communication before, during and after your stay with the property is amazing and they go above and beyond. Only downside is there is limited parking

- Carla (8/5): - The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my wifi and cold water tap in the shower. The maintenance man came straight away and solved both problems. The outlook from my room was lovely. The only downside is the bathroom floor tiles. They are cracked all around the toilet area and look very unsightly. They need upgrading - it makes the unit look dated.

- Gillian (10/5): Excellent place. - Amy and Kendrick were super helpful accommodating us on our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and felt like luxury. We had a great stay there. A car would be recommended or taxis into town. The beach is a very short walk and is lovely.

Room was reasonably clean, parking was OK, but no more spots where we were by the time we got back after dinner and a movie. The pool was great and the bar was good too. Overall, this was OK, but for a couple weekend away, we will probably look elsewhere. For a business trip this will be more appropriate.

As mentioned in other reviews, parking is horrible and if you get there after 6pm or have a slightly larger car, good luck. Wifi also not great but oh well.
