Reservamos 2 habitaciones y solo tenían preparada una e intentaron alojarnos en una doble. Finalmente nos dieron dos habitaciones, que eran dos cuartos sin ventanas y únicamente una cama, sin ningún otro tipo de mobiliario.

No hay recepción, sino que es un bar ruidoso, en el que atienden de forma penosa. Creo que puedes conseguir algo mejor por el mismo precio. Lo bueno es que la habitación estaba limpia, la cama era cómoda y el wifi funcionaba bien pero me sigue pareciendo un abuso.

• Christopher (8/5): Exactly what you need! - A lovely clean hostel with everything you need. Fresh clean sheets and towels. A great lively bar with amazing food and service. Friendly people who look after you. Although it is very busy - always and popular with the locals. But it does not stay open too late. Perfect location right in the centre of town. Does exactly what it says on the packet, the facilities are shared but it is what you would expect for a hostel. It is much cheaper if you book direct. Booking via Uk hotels cost us €30 more.

• Anna Lovise (8/5): - Hardly noticed the other people. Decent place, well positioned in the old city. There seems to be more mosquitos in Santiago than in other places in (Northern) Spain, but plenty of pharmacies available to soothe the bites.

Down below is a bar, and it was noisy until very late. And there were mosquitoes. The bar is amazing, though, serves up some of the best tortilla I've had anywhere.

I made 3 different reservations because i was doing “El Camino” and i arrived earlier than expected but if i knew of the bad service i wouldn’t stay. The room is comfortable just need a fan to be good. The room was a bit hot because to sleep youhave to keep the window closed because the room is above the bar and is super loud at night non stop. So bring earplugs. Again the location is great cuz everything is walking distance. The main thing is the bad service because you check in with the guys in the bar and they are not friendly or welcoming at all.

Bring earplugs if you want to sleep at night. The staff is the same people that run the bar and they are not friendly or welcoming at all.
• ERIC (6/5): Great location but super loud at night - The location is great because is very centrical so you can get everywhere walking but at night is hard to sleep because is very loud. First you are right above a bar and second this is a popular street so everyone pass tru here screaming, singing and talking super loud after they leave the bars. I highly recommend earplugs for sleep. The staff is not welcoming or friendly at all and they don’t care about how they treat their guests.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The rooms are above a busy bar in a central part of Santiago, so a great location. Rooms are basic but clean with a shared bathroom. My room had a balcony over the street which was fun. There was some work being carried out in the building at the time I stayed but it didn’t unduly affect my stay. A good value, fun place to stay very convenient for the centre and also the airport bus which leaves just a minutes walk away. I would stay again.
• Araceli (6/5): Pretty poor, but cheap. So you get what you pay fo - Place appeared clean but it’s run down. You’re staying above the bar so it’s definitely noisy. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. The bathroom had scolding water and cold water randomly. Tricky door to the tub. This is also a 4 floor walk up so be prepared for the hike up. Also, the guy at the bar checking me in was kind of rude. Location however is great and the price is right.

Toilettensitz nicht richtig befestigt oder lässt sich nicht mehr richtig befestigen. Das Bad ist eine Katastrophe. Der Empfang ist korrios. Verständigung war kompliziert. Das Zimmer kann man gerade so akzeptieren. Das Hotel selbst liegt sehr zentral. Mir ist es unverständlich, daß eine Hotelagentur ein Hotel in diesem Zustand anbietet. Auch wenn der Preis verlockend ist.

Außerdem zog es im zimmer so das ich 2 decken nehmen musste. Vom Restaurant hab ich nichts gehört. Das Bad groß und sauber im Stil der 70er. Leider war der hacken für den Duschkopf defekt. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig so das man die Türen der anderen hört.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - A very popular bar. Had no idea. The rooms are above the bar. Can’t hear the noise below or outside as long as you shut the window properly. Since I came in December 2018, I was the ONLY guess in the building. Mind you, I was feeling uneasy. Bring a flashlight or use your cell phone flashlight to watch your steps. Once that entrance light goes off (after 1 minute), the stairwell becomes pitch black!

Kein Service, stinkiges herunter gekommenes Zimmer mit einem Bett, das man guten Gewissens nur einer Einzelperson zumuten kann. Bad vollkommen herunter gekommen. Das einzig Positive ust die Lage in der Altstadt.

Bagno poco pulito e malridotto . Mai più .

• Mali (6/5): günstige Pension mitten in der Innenstadt - Das Zimmer liegt mitten in der Innenstadt und ist super zu erreichen. Die dazugehörige Bar (dort kann man sich auch zum Check In melden) ist sehr beliebt, was natürlich bei den Zimmern zur Straße auch zu einem gewissen Lautstärkepegel führt. Wer eine günstige, zentrale Übernachtung im Zweibettzimmer sucht wird hier dennoch fündig. Zur Bushaltestelle mit Bussen zum Flughafen sind es keine 10 Minuten zu Fuß.

• Victor (4/5): Hotel céntrico, bien comunicado sin acceso de coch - La ubicación de la pensión es buena, cuenta con cuatro habitaciones con baño compartido. Ruido excesivo de la gente y cuando cesa este comienza el de los vehículos de reparto. No he pegado ojo.

Por ese precio se podrian tener mejores opciones, te atienden en la barra de un bar, no te advierten que tiene que subir muchas escaleras muy estrechas y si llevas bici no te cabe en ninguna parte.
• wayne (2/5): Stay away!! - The room was like a prison cell with only 3 vents ( NO WINDOWS). The bed was very...very hard, too hard to sleep on. The "cell" was also full of mosquitos !. I had stayed in Alberques all week and they were by far more comfortable than this place and only 9€ per night. Not the 30€ i payed. Also the owner kept me waiting 30mins before letting me in.

• Laura (2/5): Horrible experience - I don't even know where to start. It was a Hellish night, from Bedbugs to noise from bar and restaurant below. Food smells along with smoking stenches, constant dissonance, fights. It was the noisiest street, people up till around 7 to 8 am.
• pravin (6/5): Inexpensive - I wanted a simple not too expensive place for few hours during day time. It fitted the bill. Room was like a cell but I did not expect anything more for what I paid. Location is excellent, bang in centre with lots of restaurants and few hundred yards from cathedral. Wi-Fi worked well. All in all OK.
• David (6/5): Basic accommodation in great location - La Tita is in a great location among many cafes/restaurants and within a short walk of Santiago Cathedral and the main tourist attractions. The accommodation itself is basic but adequate. My room had a shared bathroom. Ideal for Camino pilgrims who perhaps just want a break from shared rooms/bunk beds etc. The rooms are on floors above a busy bar/cafe so it can be a little noisy but this didn't bother me.

• Edward (8/5): Inexpensive and great location, but very basic - It's a very basic facility, with small rooms and a communal bathroom. That said, it was clean and very inexpensive for Santiago de Compostela during the high season. Also, the neighborhood was dynamic and fun. I'd stay there again.
