• Alba (4/5): - Un alojamiento para una noche y poco más. Considero que hay otras opciones más económicas alrededor y en mejores condiciones. La limpieza deja mucho que desear, sobretodo en el baño (la puerta ni siquiera cerraba). La cama muy ruidosa. También se escucha todo de la calle y de otras habitaciones. Lo único destacable es la ubicación (al lado de las estaciones de tren y bus y el centro de la ciudad) y la buena actitud del personal (aunque no me gustó que leyera mis datos en voz alta al hacer el registro, sin datos personales que cualquiera podría haber escuchado…)

The proximity to the train and bus station is perfect. Excellent check in experience and customer service. You can walk downtown and admire everything that Oviedo has to offer. We didn’t use the restaurant at the hotel but there are several cafes around. Confitería Cafetería Santa Cristina in the corner is open late with several choices for a quick meal, adult drinks, or a café. Highly recommended hotel!

• Robert (10/5): Well worth a stay - Quite an old hotel but in a great location, very close to the train and bus stations. Quiet room with everything that was needed. The cafe below was very good for breakfast and the menu del dia. All the sites of Oviedo are within easy walking distance.

Lo único, al degundo dia por la mañana, el agua caliente no se presentó. Personal muy atento y diligente. Recomendable para 7n parcde dias en Oviedo

• Richard (8/5): Sehr gute Lage - Das Hotel hat eine unschlagbare Lage gegenüber dem Bahnhof. Das Zimmer was einfach aber sauber. Das Bett war relativ gross aber leider knirschend. Aber das Zimmer war zum Glück still.
• marco (10/5): Cammino primitivo di Santiago - Albergo in ottima posizione per le nostre esigenze. Personale cordiale e veloce. Camera decorosa e pulita. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e alla stazione degli autobus. Da non trascurare la presenza di un buon ristorante proprio sotto l'albergo, con buon cibo ad un buon prezzo.

• ANDREA (8/5): En general, bien. - Buen y amable servicio. Agradable entorno, tranquilo. Justo cambió la temperatura exterior y hacia mucho frio en la habitación ( que yo soy muy friolera) y la calefaccion aun no estaba encendida. Por lo demás, excelente.
• LargeWestMids (10/5): A great base for touring Asturias. - Great place for travelling in Oviedo and local towns. Weather was generally hot and sunny, Liked Location was fantastic with proximity to the bus and train station with a large supermarket between them. The route to the Cathedral and old town was a fifteen minute walk which went through the main shopping center. The Tourist Office was about halfway and very helpful. The room and bathroom were both spacious and the staff friendly. It was pleasant having a coffee outside at the cafe next door. The food appeared competitive. I was quite angry initially however as it appeared staff hadn't prepared the room properly in that there was no soap and toiletries, no glass and a virtually blocked sink. Coincidentally I hadn't taken my own toiletries for the first time I can remember as I never usually need them. Everything was sorted but not immediately.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Gracias... solo echen un ojo a limpieza por favor - Bueno, había un trozo de Dorito debajo de la cama, un cilindro negro inclasificable en el suelo que no se si era un trozo de puro, una cucaracha enorme muerta o qué, no lo miré mucho, lo envolví corriendo en papel y lo tiré para que no lo vieran las niñas y rechazaran dormir ahí... y al abrir la cama salió una polilla de debajo de la almohada. El jaboncillo había sido usado por otro huésped... dejé un trocito de jabón que llevo siempre encima en su lugar un poco a modo de protesta. Llegamos a medianoche y nos recibieron con corrección. Los colchones cómodos, la habitación por lo demás bien. Una ciudad preciosa, una buena localización. No está aislada acústicamente pero la gente no monta jaleo hasta tarde. Espero que el señor de recepción no esté pasando por un mal momento... me dio esa impresión.

• Samir (2/5): - Categorizarlo como hotel dos estrellas me parece hasta mucho. Es mas un hostal que un hotel. Nos dieron una horrorosa y oscura habitación interior, con el baño húmedo. Habían tres camas las cuales todas hacían ruidos. No lo recomiendo nada porque tampoco es barato 110 € la noche, creo que con ese precio pudimos conseguir algo mil veces mejor. Decepcionado de mi estancia en Oviedo y este hotel no ayudó nada

• Toni (10/5): Vacaciones en Oviedo - La experiencia por nuestra parte ha sido excelente, tanto la amabilidad de todos los que trabajan en el hotel, como en lo referente a las habitaciones, muy amplias y reformadas. La limpieza de las habitaciones y baños fué la correcta dado que teniamos una planta entera para nosotros 3 habitaciones y 2 baños, estaban todas limpias.

The heating was only on occasionally and not enough to heat the room. i spent time in the room, in bed, to keep warm. the shower was superb but having a hot shower and getting out into a very cold room was not great. • Pablo (8/5): Hotel práctico (lo mejor, la localización) - La localización, en plena calle Uría (calle comercial por excelencia de Oviedo) y al lado de la estación de tren nos pareció lo mejor del hotel. Además de que tienes casi todo lo visitable a 5-10 minutos andando (zona de la catedral, Campo San Francisco...). La decoración de las habitaciones no es muy moderna, pero hace su función, que es lo que importa. El baño era bastante amplio, aunque mi amigo tuvo problemas con la presión del agua (punto a favor que se lo solucionaron enseguida en cuanto lo mencionamos en recepción). En general salimos con buena impresión y creo que repetiremos la próxima vez que pasemos por Asturias.

Muy buen trato por parte del personal y muy agradables. Disponen de restaurante/cafetería propio, con un más que correcto menú del día. Los desayunos, correctos también. La limpieza podría ser algo mejor.

• JOSE MANUEL (8/5): Correcto para uno o dos días. - Hotel de batalla sólo para pasar la noche y estar fuera todo el día visitando la ciudad. Muy bien situado en la calle más comercial. No tiene parking pero hay muchos parking públicos cercanos. Evitar el de la estación de Renfe (es el más caro). Toda la zona turística y de comidas está muy cercana.

• Felix (4/5): Experiencia de un Ovetense - Frienly staff. Good location. Reasonable maintenance . Only too late you find that they do not provide regular heat to the room . Only at certain times and none after midnight. In my last third night , I was so cold that I had to go and “ sleep “ at 5:00 a.m in the chair by the reception desk. At 8:00 a.m , the owner came and the answer was that the hotel , didn’t “ provide steady heat through the day “ I was happy of leaving in two hours.

El menu del dia en el resturante en el hotel tiene buen sabor y solo cuesta €10. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very genuinely friendly and nice to deal with. The lunch menu was really tasty and was great value at only €10.
• bman1986 (6/5): Cheap but not much else going for it. - I'm usually easily pleased when it comes to places to stay. Initially this place seemed fine but then there were just a few annoying things that spoiled it slightly. The shower holder was broken so you had the hold the shower head in your hands. The window shutters were broken so didn't completely shut out the noise and the cold. Also there was just a little too much dust, not usually fussy but it needed a major spruce up. Sorry to say but I wouldn't stay here again if I were to return to Oviedo.

The room was very clean and nice but noisy; they probably were running a laundry machine or another noisy equipment almost all the time. That noise was the only bad thing about my stay; otherwise the hotel is great, location is excellent, staff is very nice and helpful.
• sesamy300 (10/5): Ticked all boxes - For the price (35 euro) I thought this was a great bargain. Very close to the train station and the Camino route. Restaurants nearby. Room had a nice bathroom and bed was perfectly acceptable. Winner!
• cdmm58 (10/5): Found it all very good. Good value. - Stayed for 3 nights. The room was very adequate for the money. It was clean and made up nicely everyday. The bed was really comfortable and on the sixth floor facing the street, the noise level was ok. The window shutters were a perfect blackout and helped get a good sleep. The downstairs restaurant was good for breakfast and it had a super friendly guy working there. In fact all the hotel staff were really friendly. Well located from all the sights and eating areas.

• aguyfromitaly (6/5): It's ok, but with accurate cleaning this would have been fantastic - The family room is absolutely great, located in the building next the main hotel in an apartment complex. We had a three bedrooms with two bathroom, one ensuite, for a real bargain. Apartment is modern, thought access to the kitchen and living room was inhibited. Very well centrally located, just two minutes walk away from the main station. I rate as a three stars only due to the cleaning condition of the toilet that was not up to the standard. I had to wipe it off with antibacterial towels as there were some bits left behind. Shower was not clean too. The ensuite had the cold water on the bidet not working and we have been provided with 4 towels out of five. It would have been very easy to get a five, with just a minimum of inspection on the hygiene and enough toiletries.
• gids123 (8/5): Simple but good and friendly - Stayed for two nights at start of Camino. Location about ten minutes walk from the cathedral on Uria which seems the main commercial Street in Oviedo. Two minutes walk from railway station and five from bus station. Reception friendly. Room simple but clean and bathroom good. Spanish TV only. Would recommend if you are simply looking for a place to sleep. Restaurant on ground floor seems popular and good breakfast (for Spain) for 2.50€.
• love2travelGalicia (6/5): It's cheap - The location is very good but the positives end there the rooms are not bad but it was noisy through the walls and from the street below, the beds are uncomfortable and very noisy when turning over in bed also the toilet seat lid closed onto your back when you sat on the toilet, it has a good cafe below for breakfast etc.
