• Mireille (5/5): Établissement qui ne vaut pas ses quatre étoiles. - L’emplacement Établissement vieux, nous avons trouvé une blatte énorme que nous avons capturé pour l’apporter à l’accueil, la propriétaire ne s’est même pas excusée. A l’entrée on vous donne la liste des interdictions, toutes nos demandes (aller dans le jardin, avoir un œuf en plus …) ont été refusées. Personnel froid, et équipement qui a fait son temps. Mauvais rapport qualité/prix

• Emmie Brooke (10/5): - Very clean hotel in a great location for seeing Mt Fuji, with lovely walks nearby. It offered a wonderful traditional Japanese experience, with great facilities and friendly, welcoming staff. A really enjoyable stay.

El personal fue muy amable y atento, mientras nosotras fuimos a pasear ellas nos tendieron los futones (comodisimos por cierto). La estancia incluía un desayuno estilo japonés que era increíble. El alojamiento además cuenta con onsen, lo cual fue una experiencia fabulosa. Además, aunque se encuentra lejos del bus mas cercano (15 min aprox), cuentan con transporte para acercamiento. Realmente 10/10 Nada, todo increible

• Lucie (9/5): Wonderfully authentic stay - Such a traditional and wonderful stay here. Staff were lovely and helped us whenever we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone to try some ‘real Japan’ the baths were beautiful too!

Varázslatos.18 km Shizuokától, a taxi ára 6000 JEN, de megközelíthető tömegközlekedéssel is. Ha fáradt vagy, ezt kalkuláld bele. Éjjel a tenger zúgására alszol el, reggel kigyalogolsz a partra és a Fudji látványa fogad. Nem lehet semmit hozzátenni. A reggeliben egy kis kedvezmény az európai konyhához szokottaknak :) jól esett volna . 24 órát utaztunk, hogy megismerjünk egy csodálatos kultúrát és embereket és természetesen elfogadjuk, hogy ez a japán tradíciókról szól, mégis.
• aden (10/5): Feels really at home during our stay. Would definitely recommend to try. - The sincere welcoming vibes exude by the staff. Clean property. Room has very good sound proofing. Traditional Ryokan. Free parking. Would be good if there is children meal selection available.

Staff on duty on my checkout day were very friendly. They offered the kids a little souvenir, which was very sweet of them. This kind of little kind gestures were much appreciated. Received an email asking about my arrival time. As I will be arriving slightly before check in time, I was thinking of just dropping my luggages at the front desk and walk around nearby, so I wrote 1-2pm (which was the time I expected to reach). Little did I expect the hotel to write back saying they reject my timing. Actually I was just answering their question about my arrival time, so I just told the truth of when I will be arriving. I didn’t appreciate how they rejected it.

• Haoran (10/5): - 绝无仅有的温泉旅馆体验。旅馆就在三保松原入口处，房间设施齐全床铺舒适，温泉很舒服。我回来的时间可能太晚了，温泉里一个人也没有，一个人在温泉里边唱歌边泡了一个小时，感觉超级治愈。第二天早上借了自行车去清水灯台拍日出。早饭种类非常丰富各种蔬菜小点心，甚至有一条烤鱼（虽然叫不出来是什么鱼）。离开的时候旅馆有专用接驳车到公交车站。虽然只住了一晚，但真的是一次非常难忘的体验。美丽的风景，和善的人们。 实在挑不出毛病（

Absolut empfehlenswert. - Das Hotel ist leicht in die Jahre gekommen aber ein extrem gepflegtes und ursprünglich japanisches Haus, mit traditioneller Einrichtung, sensationellem Essen & Service und schönem Badebereich. Die Lage zum Strand mit Fuji Blick ist ebenfalls ein großes Plus. Die englischen Übersetzungen der Hausregeln sind, wenn vorhanden, unklar und irreführend. Sonst gar nichts!

• Matteo (10/5): Very good ryokan next to the sea with exceptional Mt. Fuji views. - Right next to the beach, the next bus stop was a bit far out but they offered a shuttle bus! The staff where very helpful and attentive, the breakfast where huge portions. The onsen is definitely a highlight too! No way to wash laundry, the next coin laundry is 1km away.

• Rosanne (8/5): Flot men lidt ældre hotel med meget charme, tæt på flot strand med udsigt til Fuji bjerget. - Personale var ekstremt imødekommende og venligt. Deres onsen og spaområdet er flot. Beliggenhed er smuk ved siden af strandet. Vi havde booket 3 værelser. Et værelse med haveudsigt som var fint. Og 2 superior værelser som begge havde lidt ældre badeværelser.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful experience in a Japanese styled hotel - We were welcomed by a team of friendly and helpful staff. The Japanese style breakfast was too overwhelming to digest but great experience. A big thank you to the staff who assisted us on checkout day. She was alert and fast to show us the tip of Mt Fuji when it miraculously appeared before we left as we couldn’t catch the view during the 2 days stay due to rain and cloudy condition.
• Patrick (6/5): - Food was a little TOO AUTHENTIC for me. I was also expecting an onsen in my room since I have tattoos. It felt more like a regular bathtub setup. Very different than other ryokans I stayed at.
• Alan (10/5): - Very quiet location as close to Miho no Matsubara as you can get in a place to stay. Owner of the place, Mrs. Endo, was extremely pleasant and motherly. Accommodations were excellent with Japanese meals for breakfast. Need to take a taxi to get to any other touristy spots and to Shizuoka Shinkansen station (about 40 mins). The beach and the pine tree forest are right there. Very quiet and relaxing. I would stay there again in the future.

• Kim (10/5): - This place is amazing! The customer service, vibes, and decor are all 10/10. Just a warning that they do serve a lot of local foods so be careful if you’re picky. They even wipe down your suitcases and basically do everything for you down to arranging your shoes. The area around the hotel is super beautiful. Close to the beach and the views of Mt. Fuji were amazing.

Very happy and i will repeat. - I loved the wooden bath, hotel amenities - coffee machine was really amazing add on. As well high quality green tea and all the necessities required. View to the garden was priceless! Outdoor onsen was amazing too. I read in the reviews that staff is beyond the service excellence, to be honest i did not feel that way. They were nice but i didnt feel treated specially or differently than other places in japan.

• YUMI (10/5): 服務非常親切周到 - 傳統的日式旅館，服務十分周到，從CI到CO都非常親切，內部保持乾淨，房間在二樓，沒有電梯，行李是服務人員協助送到房間，不會造成太大困擾，部分走道空間可能曬不到太陽有些許霉味，整體飯店內部還是木頭香氣環繞。 住宿提供早餐，傳統日式早餐很豐盛，也很好吃，旅館提供免費wifi，長輩剛好想使用無法連上(我們自己都有準備esim不太受影響)，但旅館服務人員還是親切送上賠禮，非常感謝!

The traditional breakfast was very diverse and delightful. A great experience overall. Also thanks to the staff, who very nicely arranged to ship a bag that we forgot. Great service !
• Lorraine (10/5): - This is one of the best ryokan I have stayed at. The location was ideal for our viewing of Mt Fuji. We were a group of ten (9 first timers to Japan - first ryokan experience). They enjoyed the onsen. We were given yukata for our individual heighth. The staff was accomodating to all our requests. They were able to accommodate a last minute request to make a vegetarian meal for our kaiseki breakfast. It really was a short walk to the beach (where we got great views of Fujisan). The hiking paths up the forest was right there too. One of our group also used the bike to explore the area. It was in a quiet, peaceful, remote area. It took a while to get there, not in Shizuoka but a train-bus/taxi ride. There were not any restaurants/eating places close by. We stayed one night but in the future I would stay more than one night to get the feeling of serenity of the area. The snacks that were set out were delicious. They were for purchase at the small lobby store. The staff were friendly, efficient and we had no problem communicating with them. A great experience for all of us.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good Japanese “Ryokan” - This facility is a typical Japanese style “ryokan” with a good hospitality. I stayed with my family just for one night. Our room has two tatami rooms and it was enough space for 3 people with luggage. Dinner was very good. It was chef’s special course for August. Due to its history, some equipment needs to be renewed but well trained staffs’ service washed off most of areas. Location is at in the middle of Miho no Matsubara, one of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites.

• Dylan (9/5): Superb - The room was amazing. I loved being in a Japanese style room, having tatami mat floors, sitting on a pillow with the arm rest, and everything else about it. The AC made it comfortable, since I'm used to cooler climates, and the private tub was exceptional. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. If I had known how much of an experience the hotel was, I would have planned less during the day. If you stay here, make it your main plan. Also, my yukata did not fit, but that was my bad for not telling them how large I was.
• CLARE (10/5): Great - It's a quiet and private hotel. Staff are attentive and personalised. Though it's a small setup, it offers guests comfort and privacy. Best is that it is next to Miho Pine Forest and beach with a great view of Mt Fuji.

Also my 5 kids wanted a traditional japanese experience and this hit all the marks. Our only issue was our air conditioner remote needed new batteries but that was easily corrected. This was a real experience! Nothing!

It was far from the train station and we were using public transport so a taxi was quite expensive to and from the train station and we stayed only one night, but the isolated location was also pristine and perfectly nestled in the nook of Miho No Matsubara beach and pines.

• Stephanie (9/5): We love Hagoromo Hotel and would like to return there for the 3rd time! - This was our 2nd stay at Hagoromo Hotel. We came back because we had such a wonderful experience on our first stay. We weren't disappointed! The Japanese breakfast was very good! The staff was amazingly attentive. The location is great and we had a picture perfect day of viewing Mt Fuji! Our stay had no negatives.

The Japanese garden and general atmosphere of the inn were very relaxing. Very close to views of Mt Fuji from the beach (if there aren't too many clouds).

Extremely friendly staff, very attentive, nicely situated near the seaside, where you can do great walks with views on mount Fuji, authentic dining and breakfast, an unforgettable experience. • Dionv (8/5): A unique experience - Overall it is a cute and unique hotel, and I do consider coming back in the future for the yearly event. The surrounding area is fun to walk around at night. The breakfast is amazing, but it would have been nice to have more options. Great breakfast, but it would be nice if there were more breakfast options, even if that means we need to select the day before. We also reserved a parking space, but when we arrived there was no space available, and had to park an expensive car in the middle of the parking area as cars would be driving in and out.

The staff were incredibly attentive, kind and helpful. The futon beds were too hard for me, so it was problematic to sleep on them. Plus, we had mosquitoes bothering us during our sleep.
