• PASCAL (2/5): Logement non conforme à l’annonce et expérience très décevante. - L'accueil très chaleureux du gérant et de ses deux employés Malheureusement, la réalité des lieux est bien loin de l'image présentée sur le site de Booking. Les avis positifs et les photos sur le site ont influencé notre choix. Je rédige cet avis afin que d’autres voyageurs ne se laissent pas tromper comme nous l'avons été, d'autant plus que maintenant les règles de réservation obligent le versement de 50% du montant de la location qui seront perdu si vous décidez de partir le jour de votre arrivée... Quatre des cinq chambres ont des fenêtres murées, laissant passer à peine la lumière du jour. La cinquième donne sur un espace servant de débarras. Une photo de l’annonce montre une chambre avec porte-fenêtre… qui n’existe pas. Les photos sont donc clairement trompeuses. Nous avions réservé cette villa près d’un an à l’avance pour passer les fêtes en famille. Arrivés le 23 décembre, alors que nos enfants étaient déjà en route depuis différents pays, il nous était impossible de repartir immédiatement. Nous avons malgré tout dû écourter notre séjour, notamment en raison d’une claustrophobie incompatible avec ce logement. Je passe sur les autres points, comme la plage à proximité qui ressemble davantage à une décharge qu’à l’image idyllique présentée sur le site, ou encore le plancher de l’estrade de la piscine et son garde-corps, potentiellement dangereux pour les enfants. Description réelle du logement : • Chambre 1 : chambre double pour 4 personnes (2 espaces réunis : le premier sans ouverture réelle, le second donnant sur le jardin) • Chambre 2 : 2 personnes – fenêtres murées • Chambre 3 : 2 personnes – fenêtres murées • Chambre 4 : 2 personnes – fenêtre donnant sur un espace de stockage/débarras extérieur • Chambre 5 : 2 personnes – fenêtres murées
• Chathumini (9/5): - The place was really nice,peaceful and very spacious. It’s located next to the beach, where we could experience sea breeze throughout. The best thing about this place was the staff, they were very helpful and they just went out of their way to help us. The meals that they provided were nice as well. There were no restrictions on anything and we enjoyed our stay to the fullest.

Majitel velmi ochotne pomohol za vyborne ceny zorganizovat akukolvek vylet po Sri Lanke. Vrelo odporucam tuto vilu. Urcite sa tu oplati vratit.
• Анна (10/5): Нам вилла понравилась, отношение персонала очень понравилось, - Прекрасное место, персонал всегда готов помочь, вкусные завтраки, персонал готов приготовить ужин из купленных проживающими продуктов. Нам на гриле жарили рыбу, курицу и овощи, готовили рис с овощами. Реально смогли расслабиться, никакой готовки, мытья посуды и уборки. Для большой компании прекрасный выбор. На пляже не покупаться, при заходе резкий спуск плюс волны, плюс не везде чисто. Купаться мы ездили в Бентота за 20 км. В Калутара нет хороших пляжей для купания с детьми, либо нам не удалось найти.
• Kelly (5/5): - The location was pretty good, we were at the tail end of our stay and were pretty tired so didn't explore the area too much. The hosts were friendly and made us delicious food for breakfast and dinner. We ended up leaving the property a night early. The beds weren't super comfortable and neither was the furniture in the common area. With no aircon in the common/lounge space our group of 6 who were hoping to spend time together found ourselves staying in our individual rooms more because it was too warm to be out of the aircon. Great spot if you just want somewhere to sleep, but if you are wanting a "fancy" villa to stay in and relax together, this probably is not the place for you (or us).
• Wasanthi (10/5): Excellent stay - We loved the whole stay. Beach is pretty much the back yard of this property. Beautiful, clean and breathtaking beach. Sisira was exceptionally helpful in every requirement. He personally brought us a Sri Lankan riped Jack Fruit! The two helpers were so helpful and extremely friendly. Every meal was personally catered for our requirements. My sisters who came from Brisbane, Adelaide, Galle and Kandy, my brother came from Itallly loved this place. I am from Melbourne. We will definitely come back!! None :)

• Wijekoon (3/5): Disappointing Stay at Lohas Beach Resort Villa – Grateful for the People, But Not the Place - See below We stayed at Lohas Beach Resort Villa for 7 nights with our family of four, hoping to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable holiday. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short in several important ways. The villa was not as clean as expected, and there were no extra bedroom or bathroom amenities provided throughout our stay. For a family spending a full week there, these small but essential details really matter. The breakfast options were extremely limited, with very little variety from day to day. It felt like an afterthought rather than a meal to look forward to. There were also several maintenance and comfort issues that went unresolved. The TV was not working, which made it difficult to relax in the evenings. We were surprised that no drinking water bottles were provided, which is a basic courtesy in most accommodations. Additionally, not all air conditioners were functioning properly in the rooms—something that made sleeping uncomfortable, especially in the warmer weather. When there were no current and electricity, there was no generator to give electricity alternatively. There was also a hazard where the carpet was lifted up every time we walked by in the hallway. Despite these disappointments, we want to sincerely thank Anil and Kema for their genuine hospitality. They were the heart of the place—always kind, welcoming, and willing to help us with anything we needed. They treated us more like family than guests, and their warmth made a big difference to an otherwise underwhelming experience. We hope the management takes steps to improve the facility, because with better upkeep and attention to detail, this place has potential. For now, we’re simply grateful to have met Anil and Kema, who truly made us feel cared for.

Owner of the property is friendly and kind person. Food was horrible which they provided from outside. Break fast was ok . But others are horrible. Only food was not good. Other than food everything was great.

We really enjoyed! Food was great, facilities nice, everyone helped us, it’s so close to ocean - it’s unbelievable !!! With lots of love ! Slow internet(not only on villa, but on Sri Lanka at all) , on booking says that the have couch-bed , but it’s not a bed, it’s a really small couch, that you only can seat on. But the bedrooms were very good

• Valenthina (10/5): Wonderful villa with amazing and helpful staff - We stayed as a family of four in this beautiful and comfortable villa right by the beach. We had a wonderful stay delighted by the kind and helpful staff at Lohas Beach Villa. The landscape was gorgeous with lucious green trees and planrs and with comfortable different lounge areas. The bedrooms were big and clean, there was AC in every room. The bathrooms were fresh and there was strong water pressure. Every morning delicious breakfast with omelettes, bread, jam and fresh fruit was served outside. The owner Sisira was incredibly attentive and made sure that all our wishes were met. He arranged transports anywhere, planned different exercursions, and planned meals according to our wishes without any hassles. We recommend Lohas Beach villa for an amazing vacation in Sri Lanka. We would love to come back in the future! Everything was great

• Ruth (9/5): A secluded, relaxing, excellent personal service experience of Sri Lanka and her people. - This unique property accepts only one booking at a time so it becomes your private home with staff. It is a five bedroom villa on the sea with dining room, living room, and a therapy room with massage table and treatments on call. We enjoyed lounging on the verandah overlooking lush gardens and colorful birds. Beyond is an outdoor dining area next to the swimming pool, and beyond that a privacy fence to the beach. The architecture is traditional but the interior is fully renovated with modern baths. The villa is located in a good Sri Lankan neighborhood and we liked hearing the chanting coming from the nearby Buddhist temple, and the music of the bread truck making its rounds. We especially liked the feeling of solitude and attentive service from the excellent host who checked in with us every day and did everything to make us happy. Stanley, the all purpose and efficient houseman, was always at our call. We felt cared for like private house guests. I realize now that this is an opportunity to immerse in the life of Sri Lanka and not expect an international menu. The western food can be mediocre, but the Sri Lankan dishes always delicious. However, we did ask for western breakafasts and the eggs where good.

• Paul (10/5): I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are absolutely lovely and warm. The food is excellent. - The breakfast was wonderful, served fresh everyday by Stanley at what ever time we wanted it. Omelette of my choice and Sri Lankan sausages followed by toast and marmalade. This was followed by a fresh fruit salad prepared by Stanley or Sisi ( Sisi is the owner). All served with a pot or two of Ceylon tea. Nothing was to much trouble for these two wonderful guys. Loved it all. The two lads Stanley and Sisi were just wonderful, the food was great and very tasty. The hotel was lovely and clean. You could not fault our holiday at all. I am disabled and Sisi came on all our trips with us to take care of me, a wonderful man.
• Dmitry (10/5): Exceptional - Very cozy and quiet place. Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful garden. Literally less than a minute walk to the beach. Would definitely come again and recommend for a quiet relaxing holiday There are no windows in any room. Even the “balcony” is just another tiny room with concrete walls. There’s a bit of daylight coming trough the gap in the top part of the window/balcony so it’s not dark in the room. The rest is covered with concrete. This is 100% compensated with the common areas. It simply doesn’t make sense to stay in the room. Also the internet is only good in common areas
