Guest Reviews
- Arley (2/5): - On the check in the girl so nasty attention, when I get the key after 40 min for bad attention, the room so dirty and nasty, bathroom, floor, bed sheets and blanket dirty and nasty.
- Tiana (2/5): - I’ve been coming for the last 2 almost 3 years as we were closing on a house and I still have work in the area so I book occasionally depending on cost. I had an accident prior (early menses due to stress) and I should have thrown out the towel because housekeeping (which is just one particular old Karen) has always found a problem whenever I’m there. I’ll come late, leave early, don’t even use the shower most times & yet there are dirty towels. I’ve been bitten on two visits in Room 16 by little red insects. They leave Me itchy, red, with swollen skin all over my body (mostly back, butt and legs). Last visit I was told because of the towel, he got in trouble so I was blacklisted. I won’t be back anyways. Robin is great.
- Edward F Pena (6/5): - No ice machine requires a $50 cash or c deposit. If staying 1 night paid $70. Walk up was $95.
- Celines (2/5): - It was terrible!! The comforter was dirty and had a horrible smell. The room was disgusting... The staff was not helpful and the shower was literally clogged. When we approached the staff they sent us a bathroom pump. The experience was sad 😭
- Brandon (10/5): - I had a great experience
- Thomas (4/5): Need a lot of upgrades.
- Could not sleep due to the noise of the air-conditioner.
The front door is rusty, and the bathroom and toilet are unclean.
- Jayson (4/5): - This is a run down old motel. I couldn't find a pool
- Stephanie (8/5): - Older property but clean
- Luciano (6/5): - Need. A better airconditiner it was old noisy
- Abdelaziz (2/5): - Insafe property, dirty towels, Ac not working, broken lock and more ....
- Antoine (2/5): To avoid even for $20 - You’d rather spend those $80 on a night at a gentleman’s club than on a room in that hotel… At least the smell would be more pleasant. I would also recommend bringing your own sheet for safety. Don’t forget a towel either.
- Aziz (2/5): - Bad customer service!
Dirty towels!
Bad smell inside the room!
- Añgelo (6/5): - The mattress was too soft.
The door lock was broken, unsafe
- James (10/5): - I normally don’t leave reviews but I wanted to shout this place out. I was a lil remiss to stay here do to some of the reviews but I’m also cheap when I’m working on the road. This place and the people that work here are great. Yes the place is older and has that old school Florida motelllll vibe when you pull up. It definitely seems to be family run but the gentleman that checked me in was very nice 50$ cash deposit and a real key to the room. Inside it was perfect. Window unit worked great had the room cold in no time and most importantly it was clean. Room looked newer on the inside that the outside. Again it was everything I needed it to be clean, cold quiet no bugs of any kind like some had mentioned. Shower had great pressure and was hot. If you’re looking for the high amenities stay and at the Westin. If your looking for clean cheap just to sleep this is your spot.
- Willians (2/5): - Habitación super sucia el piso el baño la tasa del inodoro muy sucia con restos de orina al levantar la tapa y olor desagradable en la habitación
- Jim (2/5): - Everything is old
- Erika (2/5): - Horrible place to stay
- Kay (8/5): - Felt safe but clothing in both nightstands!
- tracybD7232DI (2/5): STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE - This hotel is Absolutely disgusting. When I arrived the front desk lady was Absolutely rude to myself and my daughter. Was given the key and after walking in seeing what I did immediately went back to office and was stated I wouldn't be charged and I sure was charged. This place should be ABSOLUTELY condemned WHAT you pay for heavens sake would be the same amount for a hotel with a pool and Breakfast most importantly being treated with respect along with a room that should be clean. The doors don't 🔐 properly. People watching and standing outside. ABSOLUTELY NOT SAFE THERE AS WELL AS FOR YOUR HEALTH AND DONT KNOW HOW THIS PLACE IS EVEN OPERATIONAL AND PASSES STATE CODE. EVEN AS THE OWNER LIVES THERE WHOM IS RUDE THE FRONT DESK LADY IS ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND THEIR SO CALLED HOUSE KEEPER DOESNT KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY CLEAN CODE WISE AND IS RUDE. ALL AROUND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. FROM THE FRONT DESK...TO THEN YOUR 180 DOLLAR ROOM WITH ROACHES...PILLS ON THE FLOOR...IT WAS DIGUSTING WALKING IN THERE. AND AGAIN, NEVER RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK LIKE STATED FROM THE WOMAN AND EVEN TALKING TO THE RUDE OWNER THE NEXT DAY WHEN GOING BACK TO ASK. DO NOT STAY THERE DONT RECOMMEND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY ON THIS PLACE
- Emmanuelle (2/5): - Terrible experience in this motel. The lady at the reception wasn't helpful and we didn't feel like welcome at all. The motel is very near the road, and we had an horrible bedroom, noisy, old, not clean and with a bad smell.
We wanted to leave but it was already paid, so we stayed 118 euros for the night. Very expensive for the quality !! I didn't recommand this place at all !!
- Robert (2/5): You get what you pay for. - The room was run down. The beds were in bad condition. I believe the entire facility needs a major remodel.
- Abdelaziz (2/5): - NEVER AGAIN!!!
The staff are so rude!
The worst and unsafe hotel i visited!
cockroach are everywhere, no garbage can in the room when i asked i was told that there's one outside by the office lol.
But the worst thing is that sime homeless people are talking, walking and screaming by your windows...scray night ..
PROPERTY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!
- James (2/5): Change the pictures to the real one's - Location not bad hotel needs some work T.L.C tv did not work, bed bring some spray, was there for only one night thank God. if you need a cheap one night or if you want the room just to sleep. Good luck
- Carlos (2/5): - Not work the price what they ask for I didn’t even want to stay the space and the people I didn’i end up staying not good at
- Lisandro (6/5): - The place was average.
- Paul (8/5): - The room had a microwave, but the decore was in need of a refresh.
- Elias (4/5): - Very poor installations
- Talita (4/5): - Very very dirty and the sheets had hair and crumbs all over. DONT STAY THERE
- Jeremichael (2/5): - Broken windows with tape holding them together, everything was dirty and falling apart. People talking/arguing outside my window until 3am.
- Virginia (8/5): - It was cold and the bathroom window in room 14 was stuck open upon arrival. The crank was broken and we could not close from inside so went outside but it was all fenced. Had to call desk to have someone push it in from outside so we could lock it. ... the staff was very responsive but the window should be repaired for next guest. Thank you.
- Edwin (10/5): - Man at desk was great and friendly i will stay there again
When I'm in town Thanks
- alfonso (2/5): - Not worth 350$ for 2 days. Need to upgrade dirty rooms
- Alicia (2/5): Bad experience gone horrible - The rooms did not look like the pictures at all. The floor was completely filthy. The beds had ash on them and burns from cigarettes or whatever the room smelled like smoke, even though it was a no smoking room there were 1 million roaches. If I could give it no stars I would it was a horrible experience by far the worst hotel I think I’ve ever stayed.
- Patrick (2/5): - the staff is great (penny and Paul). can say enough about them and their great support. Place has seen better days about 50 years ago. it is clean and no frills. wifi is sketchy at best. Go across the street and get the name brand hotel wifi pw. That wifi works. glad i didn't need to do anything online! i think the area is ok. close to Bradenton and Sarasota. traffic is pretty bad too may vec and the stop lights every 500 ft. too bad fl drivers don't know green means go. clean place to sleep and not really wifi.
- Luke (10/5): - Close to siesta key
- Peggy (8/5): Friendly & comfy - Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room.
- Gust (10/5): - Good
- danny (2/5): - Don't waste your money!!! Pictures on website are not accurate. It is the most disgusting motel I've seen... so bad that I just left.
- Justin (6/5): - I won't be going back
- Verified traveler (4/5): Basic - Basic accommodation, easy to park and booked last minute.
Room was aged but did have a fridge which was helpful
Air con was very noisy.
- Daniel (2/5): - This motel advertises itself as a proper hotel. They charge a $50 deposit when they should be paying us to stay there. Bed, towels, the whole room were dirty. You can hear the traffic outsids all night long. The AC kept turning off from cool mode, waking me up.
This place is the gatewau to hell.
And the receptionist made an offputting racial remark.
- Diana (2/5): - The pictures you have on the website have nothing to do with the filthy scary motel it really is! False advertisement. People should stay away from this place!
- 569starrn (2/5): Yikes all the way - This was disgusting very unclean and the overnight lady was literally screaming the f word at me in the parking lot for arriving as planned, she had approved me coming very late over phone. There’s people pacing the parking lot at all times and there’s no unbroken shades on windows. Doors don’t lock right. I only stayed because there wasn’t any other rentals at that time of night, as I had arranged a late arrival. Stay away
- Thomas (4/5): - Worked in a pinch but consistent to the prototypical "roadside motel" or a "lot-lizard palace".
- nicole (2/5): - The moment I arrived, it didn’t look like the photos, but I just went through a hurricane so I knew that was understandable. Once I got into my room, I saw human stains everywhere, the smoke alarm was dangling from the ceiling, the AC hadn’t been cleaned since it was probably installed over eight years ago, none of the furniture matched the photos, the bathrooms did not match the photos, mold on top of inside of toilet. Around midnight people pounding on my door, when I addressed it with the manager, he said hey it’s the weekend people like to party,
- Kevin (10/5): - Charming rooms. Updated amenities, wzlming distance to airport.
- Steven (2/5): - The pictures do not match the location.
Filthy sheets, no garbage can's terrible area. Dangerous for women.
- Don (4/5): - I dif mot like the fact that you werr unable to have visitors after a certain hour employee's not really friendly. Would not return 😕
- Thomas (6/5): - Air conditioner in room takes a long time to cool off and did not cool off the room enough. In the room we were in, the deadbolt did not work. Only the lock on the knob worked, which made me feel a little unsafe.
- Candice (4/5): Surprised there were no bugs! - First, the charged my card before I ever got there. They charged the full amount. I thought it was weird because no one’s ever done that before.
The front desk lady was rude and couldn’t look like she hated her life more. There was so many signs and little rules all over the plastic hanging between you and front desk. Most importantly being that you have to call them 5 minutes before you check out so they can come up to the room and look at it. By the way, there is no phone in the rooms. Thankfully, the front desk person in the morning was very nice and told me not to worry about it. I think he was the owner.
We got a physical key and it didn’t lock the deadbolt, just the handle. The door locking mechanism was wobbly and had definitely been kicked in before. Didn’t feel very safe there, though nothing happened. Honestly, if I had known they had weekly rates, I wouldn’t have stayed here.
I was also surprised that there weren’t any bugs in my room. That’s not something you’re usually happy about at a hotel.
I do like that the check in was at 3:00 pm and check out was at 11:00 am because most places are 4:00 pm and 10:00 am.
And the AC was on the far wall where the closet was, as far from the bed as you could get. It was so hot in there that we decided to leave it going, then get something to eat and hoped it cooled the room down by the time we got back.

Earlier and later check in and check out than normal so that was nice.

- Varinder (10/5): - Neat, Clean , comfortable and reasonable rates. I would recommend it an ideal choice to stay.
- Manuela (4/5): - Zimmerboden war schmutzig. Geduscht habe ich kalt. Kühlschrank vereist und doch am tauen. Rundum der Boden nass. Fenster im Bad mit Klebestreifen geflickt.
Zu teuer für das Angebot an Zimmer!!!
- Latasha (4/5): - When we arrived at property we Rudely greeted by what I assume was the hotel worker atm when we checked in out bed was not cleaned.. the bed was made but not cleaned had public and head hair all over bed then when asked for new linens were told they weren’t able to get in linen closet and we were to wait till morning or check out still haven’t received deposit back
- Trish3701 (2/5): Just say no. - Just say no. The only positive thing I have to say is the shower had decent pressure and hot water. That’s It. The door was obviously broken Into, no hot water in sink faucet, mattress was horrible, pillows flat, towels like sand paper. You get what you pay for and less.
- Igor (2/5): - N/A
- Karen (6/5): - I like the price cheap.
- Alex (4/5): - No shampoo in the rooms
Humidity smell very high
I won’t stay again
- Benjamin (10/5): - The man in the office was so pleasant and helpful that I actually felt welcomed!!!
- Lauren (6/5): - You get what you pay for.
- Benito (10/5): - Nice
- Joël (10/5): - Yes
- Scott (10/5): An amazing stay... - Comparatively speaking to the rest of this particular area, Siesta is amazing. I simply have no other words. A lot of the other hotels cater to drugs and prostitution, however, Sietsa is very clean, very quiet, and the staff and owner are very friendly.
- chris (4/5): - bed linens did not look washed, had hair & food crumbs
- L3045XPsuem (4/5): Would not stay agoin - The furnishings were ok and flooring was newer, but other areas were not well maintained. The bathroom door would not close, as if painted over too many times preventing it to do so. The back of the door had orange goo splattered on it and grime around the knob. And there was daylight around the exterior door, so much so that we put a towel up against it. No coffee pot if that’s important to you. But it’s one of the cheaper options in the area if that’s all you’re looking for.
- karyna (2/5): - We arrived and it is a dirty, unsafe and unclean motel. At arrival we were told the reservation didn´t go through because they didn´t take amex. So we had to look for another hotel to stay but as it really looks, I am glad we didn´t stay there.
- kathy (6/5): - It was in stretchy part of town. Old...clean, bathroom faucet NEEDS to be tightened-told them in am. AC EXTREMLY loud. HOT water in shower-GREAT. TV Worked-Great.. Refrig & Microwave- worked- IM HAPPY
- Alejandro (4/5): - Property is in need of updating..!
Wall A/C was in really bad shape noisy and even though it was set to 70 the room was very hot. Sheets although clean had holes. Bathroom door was falling apart every time it was closed it was very hard to open and made lots of noise. Tv/cable only had a few channels working. They do a deposit and I understand but had to wait for a credit card refund receipt several others were also waiting. Location is very good and grounds were nice.
- James (8/5): - It was aok
- sandramF3449II (2/5): Awful stay - The lady at office was creepy would walk by are window and look in every night. The maid didn't want to clean room complained and said room was dirty when we left I cleaned the room myself because she was to lazy to accused my handicapped son of making room smell and wouldn't give our deposit back I definitely don't recommend it
- CandisC116 (2/5): My brother and I and he was taking me to airport - Worse place we stayed at!!!! The customer service sucked. She stayed in the room and passed the key under a plastic plate. The room had no blow dryer and I had to go back down because there is no phone in the rooms and see if she had a blow dryer which she did have. I asked her why she doesn’t allow people in the office and she said she had a cough or cold.
- 640russellw (10/5): Best staff around - Hotel is a little run down. But was clean and bug free. But it's cheap. Office accused me of taking a towel. The thing that sets this place apart is I left $10,000 in a bag by accident. No I'm not a drug dealer. Plus I know it was very stupid. Anyway the staff called me. I thought they were going to say I stole or broke something. But no, they were returning my money. All of it. Great honest people. I would have lost everything if it wasn't for them.may y'all be blessed for your honest nature
- Mias_05 (2/5): Mrs - STAY WAY FROM THIS PLACE, Disgusting, very dirty and broken down, hygiene is - -0. Do not knowing how the health department has not closed it. Patched up walls, dirty, torn and dingy sheets, their were even hair on the bed when we were going to bed. Ended up going to Walmart and buying my own, even pillows, did not dear to put my body or head on the bed. We even found dirty used condom next to night Tabel. Other hotels or inns in the area have competitive pricing
- C6294CGtedg (10/5): Florida fling - A great place for couple or family stays. Most rooms have a view of the water. Clean, friendly place with lots to do for kids and adults. Good place to do laundry if you’ve been on the road awhile. Hope to return in March
- Philippineantics (2/5): Rude check in - I want to get checked into their hotel today and the woman was cussing and fighting which appeared with her husband. She didn’t even want to come to check us in. The place is really nasty do not come. Go up the street to Days Inn on Tamiami.
- Bettis007 (2/5): Dirty! - Dirty, run down dingy motel. Room wasn't cleaned, dried blood spot on floor by bed. Absolutely disgusting, I was afraid for my health. How is this place still open? I don't even think they have housekeeping, the floor wasn't even swept.
- PrincessBettis (4/5): Stay away! - Checked into this hotel, the bathroom floor and shareware so dirty like it hadn't been cleanedrin weeks, I was scared to even take a shower, dried blood on floor next to the bed, my fiance and myself were so disgusted we were afraid to sit on the bed or even put our own sheets on the bed. Terrible experience! They should be shut down by the health department!!
