• Rosemary (8/5): Convenient for our journey. - Good breakfast. Huge bed! Kettle stopped working so no tea at night or morning. Noisy outside our room until midnight. (Admittedly it’s a pub but noise went on late).

Easy accessible parking was much appreciated and easy access to motorways without having to encounter traffic. The ambience of the dining area was relaxing and the entire place was very clean. • Mark (10/5): Great stay in a lovely pub - Great place to stay with nice racing theme in the pub and stables accomadation. Food options were good and very tasty. Staff friendly and very helpful. The room door had gaps underneath which meant we heard noise from the beer garden and could be cold in the winter months. Having some where to place suitcase would help not having lean over for people with back problems like me.

Will definitely be back to stay again. There was some hanging space and small bedside tables but no real drawer space for clothes storage.

• Kathryn (9/5): Great place to stay, comfortable, clean and relaxing. - My 2nd stay here in the past month and it has become my hotel of choice near Winchester. The rooms are always clean and have fresh milk, a fridge, water and a huge TV. Beds are comfortable and it’s a great location for me to get to where I work. Good food and drink in the pub just a few steps away from your room is a plus too! Nothing

Some nice touches such as the biscuits and welcome note and music playing when you arrive. The bed was large and I slept well. The TV reception was poor in the room. Couldn’t really watch live TV. I would have liked a chain on the door for extra security.

• Mandy (8/5): Dogs allowed...no extra cost - The staff were very accommodating and met our needs , as we were delayed and didn't check in until 8.45pm. We ordered food and it was ready in 15mins.The complex is warm and inviting we were also about to our dog which a welcome change & no charge at for the dog. Good size mugs for tea & and coffee with lots of choice alongside fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast, there was plenty of variety and good selection of healthy food.

The bar area is very small and mainly consists of seats at long tables by the kitchen. The rooms are adequate for a short stay but are a little on the small side.

• Grabinski (10/5): - A beautiful and comfortable room, very clean and smelling fresh. The bed was very comfortable, which isn't often the case. You can't hear your neighbors through the walls; it's very quiet. I love coming back there. For me, it's the best place to stay in Winchester if you're traveling by car.

The food at the restaurant was beautifully cooked, breakfast service was amazing The staff on the evening shift were very slow, and seemed unorganised and focused on locals than greeting and facilitating paying guest. We had to wait for a table whilst locals were seated, even though we had booked, it took a while to take our food order, we were starving as we had done a 4 hour journey
• Ward (8/5): Mooi logement met heerlijk ontbijt - Vriendelijke ontvangst, vlotte begeleiding naar de kamer. Alles was aanwezig: koffiezet, ventilator, strijkijzer, strijkplank, tv, verwarmertje. Eerder kleine badkamer, doch alles wat nodig was, was aanwezig. Ook lekker restaurant aanwezig. Gezellige plek, een aanrader! Lekker ontbijt, vers klaargemaakt, grote porties. Badkamertje aan de kleinere kant, maar laat dit absoluut geen struikelblok zijn!
• margaux (6/5): - Food was very good, room is rather comfortable, decoration of the restaurant is great and parking is very convenient the family room has 1 window that is directly on a corridor so the room is very dark. the bunk bed was not very well screwed so my kid was afraid and ended up sleeping with me. There was a lot of Spider nets in the hotel (not in my room). The restaurant organisation is not fit for kids. We had to wait almost 1 hour to get some appetizers (the neighbours ended up giving us their fries as they could feel my kids where starving). Would be good to give us anything to eat so that we can wait for the dishes.
