Shower head in room needs to be moved to end of shower rather than on side opposite the door!! (Left little room to move)

Staff were super friendly. Besides the fire alarm that got set off by another person staying there at almost midnight, it is a great place to stay.

- emily (10/5): Great stay very happy - Lots of great touches about this place: Cozy room, properly dark curtains, yummy cookies next to the bed, mini bottle of real milk in the fridge for tea and coffee, nice big mugs for tea and good food in the restaurant . I asked for a quiet room and got one away from the bar and thanks to the double glazing. I forgot my toothbrush but was able to get a complementary one at the bar. Very happy The shower gel was empty (that’s really the only thing I can think of!)

E' possibile anche cenarvi se non si vogliono fare due passi nei dintorni per cercare altro. Il bagno è piccolissimo e dal lavandino della nostra stanza veniva un rumore molto forte di "scarico" sia di giorno che di notte. La temperatura della stanza non regolabile autonomamente e le finestre bloccate.
- Angela (10/5): - Fantastic stay and our dogs were made truly welcome with a lovely welcome pack waiting for them in the room. A lot of hotels say they are dog friendly but they aren't really, however Harpers was exceptional. Our dogs had their own beds, dog bowls, towels and treats and in the evening they joined us in the bar for food. The room also had everything we needed and more. We will definitely stay again. The staff and manager are incredibly welcoming and the evening meal and breakfast was excellent. Our stay was faultless. Thank you Not one thing

The door leading to my room did not close behind me which raised a concern from a security point of view as it was easily accessible and nobody would know who comes up. The cleanliness of the room was far from good in my opinion. I suffer with dust allergies, the window had been left open making it really cold, I switch the heater on and there was a lot of dust. The bead side table was dusty also. Light switches for room and bathroom were very unclean, the bathroom had Toothpaste spit on the walls by the sink. There was mud on the carpet. I disposed of my socks as I walked on the floor. There was a noise that would come from the refrigerator which didn't help when trying to sleep. The door made a noise when other guests would enter and exit. I place the fan, the chair against the door to make me feel safer.

The room was not clean, with numerous spider webs in the bathroom that made it feel like Halloween decor. Gillete en el baño, bragas de mujer en una estanteria, servieta en el suelo. La habitación fue seguramente cambiada la cama y poco más. - James (2/5): - I checked in and was given the room, I went up as I had finished work for the day and needed a shower, I picked up a towel and it was full of makeup so I got the towel that was on the chair and dried off. I went down for a drink and I did mention the towel thing, they came back over to me with another drink and apologised that the room had not be cleaned and did not have fresh towels. They advised they will give me another room to sleep in, but it bothered me that I had dried off with used towels - and wasn't impressed to say the least.

- Jason (8/5): - The room was very nice and comfortable, with good coffee, tea and fresh milk provided. There was a fridge with cold water, and the TV was excellent, set up for Netflix and similar services. The desk was well set up, with plenty of space for clothes, and the bed was very comfortable. Some of the breakfast items felt a bit inconsistent. There were marmalade, jams and Nutella available, but no bread or toaster. On one morning there was fruit without yogurt, and on another cereal without milk. The fruit was also a little on the sour side. That said, the hot breakfast options were very good, and the coffee was excellent.
